I can't say enough good things about this place. My pup was having some issues that concerned me today. I called Aspen Grove to see if I could possibly get in the same day and while I didn't expect to be able to, they surprised me. The receptionist looked through their busy schedule and found an appointment cancellation that she got me into. I got there a little before my appointment, and they had me on the phone doing the check in exactly at my appointment time. The staff were all wonderful, kind, and animal lovers. Dr. Sarah, the vet who checked my pup out, was all of this and thorough as well. She did a fanatic job pinpointing what was going on with my dog and created a multi approach plan to get my pup back to 100%. The vet was extremely knowledgeable and everyone was very loving to the pup. Aspen Grove did everything flawlessly, just like they did a past emergency I saw them for.

The service was nice, but awkward and somewhat careless. They don't seem to be fans of big dogs. I've got a young belgian malinois and she was being really sweet but nervous in there and I felt like we were a threat to them in the lobby. I was just bringing her in to get her claws trimmed, and the assistant was not very personable. She just took my dog to the back, kinda handled her awkwardly and didn't a good job with trimming her claws, they were uneven and one claw had a piece of it hanging off. The receptionist was not very personable as well. I also came to get a Larimer pet license and explained to her why I needed it and she didn't seem to care that much. She actually said technically you don't need one, but according to park rangers here you do. It just wasn't a comfortable experience and I will be choosing CSU Vet from now on.

The doctors are good, but the front desk staff and receptionists are unkind in person and very rude over the phone, so just be prepared for that. Otherwise I recommend!

We drove from out of state to get emergency care for our dog. They immediately triaged her and found a way to get her seen quickly. While they weren't able to do her surgery, our veterinarian coordinated everything with another clinic and got us set for the next phase of our journey. They were very, very up-front and clear about pricing. More than that, though, we were treated with a huge amount of kindness and compassion, and I felt like the whole staff went out of their way to help and do more than they were required to do. We're so grateful, as it was really a horrible time for us, but I believe Aspen Grove played a huge role in saving our dog, Roxy's, life. Thank you guys!

I adore all the doctors I’ve seen here: Dr Spooner, Dietrick, and Bignall. Today I saw Dr Ash, she’s new and such an absolute joy. All the doctors are thorough and attentive, they listen. Dr Ash was super fun, and won over my very nervous pupper with patience and ease. Highly highly recommend for vet care! edited to add: Ally is a wonderful vet tech, as well!

My dog Rupert has been sick for the last few weeks. I called and got in almost right away. My vet (sadly I forgot her name) was so awesome. She was thorough, knowledgeable, and so friendly. Our nurse was awesome too!!!

Don’t take your pet here unless you are ok waiting an extra hour past your appointment time. They way over schedule to squeeze in more $$$. The real experts are around the corner at CSU Vet hospital. Better prices, better service over there. Aspen Grove lost our business.

My dog needed a pretty routine surgery on his eye. My primary vet couldn’t do the surgery for almost a month and I looked everywhere to find someone who could do the surgery sooner. I found Aspen Grove and I was very excited when I saw the estimate. The only good thing about Aspen Grove was the pricing. The women that work the front desk are rude! I brought him in for the pre op check up and the vet scheduled the surgery. Two days later I got a call from them saying they needed to move the surgery. The reasoning? There was a staff meeting that conflicted... I said fine and rescheduled. A few days later I get called again asking to reschedule. The surgery itself went well. Then they had me come in two weeks post op for a check up, not a big deal. The vet said I did not need to come back for a recheck. A few days later the front desk calls asking to schedule an appointment for a recheck. I was confused but scheduled it anyways. Over the next five days, I received 3 different calls asking me to schedule a recheck (the one I had already scheduled). On the third call I cancelled the appointment. I’m never taking my dogs back there. The ladies at the front desk are rude and unprofessional.

I take my dog in there for a check up because I was recommended by a friend. They are doing Covid screening, not a big deal. They tell me it will be about an hour, so I wait. 3 hours later I call them and they tell me that the doctors are in emergency surgery and they will talk to me soon. I understand that. I think a phone call to let me know would have helped. So another hour goes by and I call them and tell them to bring my dog out and the doctor can call me later to explain. On my way home the doctor calls me and says we can do the shots now, so I turn around drive back and get the shots. Except for wasting 5 hours of my day they were fine except they wasted 5 hours of my day. Their customer service is awful.

Needed my pups records asap so we could get her nails trimmed. Jordan sent them over to me within about five minutes. Thanks Jordan!!

I've been bringing our cat here for years, and our pup since she was born about a year ago. Everyone I've dealt with in the office has been amazing, and they've gone above and beyond with our pets. When a problem comes up, they always present and describe options very clearly, and we've always felt like they've steered us to the best option that fit our situation, rather than the most expensive one. My cat has an issue with peeing in the carrier in the car, and they have even cleaned it out for us while we waited, and stuck a pee pad in there. We had a lot of concerns about puppy related risks/issues, and the vets here have done a fantastic job of clarifying things for us such that we feel confident in the decisions we make. Could not recommend this place more!

A couple months ago we had to help our dear faithful doggie friend, Arissa, over the rainbow bridge. One of my biggest concerns was her fear of going to the vet. I didn't want her last moments to be full of anxiety. However, she LOVED riding in the car. After talking to Jaime we decided it was best to let her stay in the car. (COVID ended up helping make that decision, also). I was absolutely amazed at the care and compassion of the entire staff at Aspen Grove Vet Care. From the front desk, to the nurses, to Dr. Michael we were treated gently and given as much time as we needed to say goodbye. It was beautiful and peaceful. As difficult as the decision was, the crew at Aspen Grove made us feel as though we were their one-and-only client. I can't recommend Aspen Grove Veterinary Care enough.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Aspen Grove, especially Dr. Michael. It took me a while to find an exotic vet in town for my guinea pig, but Dr. Michael truly is the best.

I would not bring an exotic here. I got a rescue ball python that prolapsed and the sutures were put in wrong and she re prolapsed 2 days later. I was also given an antibiotic rarely used on reptiles.

Super disappointed in the care my pet received. Lab work run was a waste of money as it did not give any results- even CSU could not interpret their results. Was told my 11 week old puppy may have a tumor in her bladder or bladder stones after testing gave no indication. Took my puppy to CSU and they ran a urinalysis that found a UTI within minutes. My poor puppy was dealing with this for 3 weeks and the vet was told of her symptoms since the beginning. I did meet some friendly staff at the clinic but it did not out weight the care we received. Would not recommend. :(

Dr. Michael’s saved my dog! Nala was on her death bed. Dr. Michael’s immediately took action with prescribing her antibiotics. I felt so bad that i was being selfish and couldnt let her go. Nala is almost 11.. Dr. Micheals said, Were going to do this and give her a chance.. and it honestly worked!! Nala is back to herself now, after being on meds for 4 days.. I cant thank the staff and Aspen Grove enough!!! Dr. Michael’s you saved a huge member of our family! From Nala, “wuff wuff” Thank you!!!

Aspen Grove Veterinary Care has been a wonderful place for our puppy! We use the puppy plan, kennel service at their new cabins & their doggie day care once in a while. Remi is always happy to visit her friends at Aspen Grove. They are also a community focused business that is making a difference with their Realities For Children Business Membership. THANK YOU.

I brought my dog here today for the first time. We scheduled an appointment to get her nails clipped. I explained prior to the appointment that my dog is nervous with getting her nails clipped and it might take extra hands when dealing with …

While I actually chose a different vet, this clinic was high up on my list, and if I ever need to switch, I'd definitely try here! The receptionist was super nice on the phone and seemed to be genuinely interested in my dog. I greatly appreciated the care and am convinced they'd have that same care in person too!

I had been struggling to find a vet that is affordable, yet serious and professional for months now. I can be picky about what I want out of an experience for my cats when I go to the vet, and I loved the most recent visit my cats had. I had to board some of my cats for an day not too long ago to get some work done in the apartment, and I did not want them to stress while at home with the noise. They were behind on vaccinations, but Aspen Grove was willing to get them caught up and let them stay at their boarding facility. The cats came back just fine, and I was so happy with the flexibility of the team and facility to take them in and give them an appointment so quickly with such short notice! My other cats just went in to get a quick wellness check and vaccinations and I was so happy with the building and the staff. While social distancing and wearing proper face coverings, I could go in for these exams. The cat and dog entrances are separated so reduce stress for the animals, and the staff was attentive and quick to help me. The nurse and doctor were kind and gentle with my cats who were quite spooked by people walking by, and never rushed them. They even got to try some baby food to help distract them from the poke! I already knew what my cats needed to get when I walked in, and I was happy and pleased that none of the staff tried to push more suggestions or procedures onto me than what I had expected. The paperwork I received also had a suggested re-exam date in a year to get their booster shots. I'm also so thankful that in a time of social distancing, I could be with my cats during this and help relax them more. I'm glad that I have found a place that offers urgent care, dental, boarding, and general exams all in one place for my cats. Thank you Aspen Grove team for continuing to support animal well-being and their humans, all at a price that doesn't break the bank with amazing and attentive service! I'm so glad to be a client, and I'm looking forward to more vet visits and stays with you in the future knowing my cats will get the most out of their lives thanks to you all :)

Throughout the last week, I started going to Aspen Grove because my dragon had stuck eggs. My experience has been very positive and Dr Michael was amazing. He was honest with me about my husbandry while still being kind and compassionate. And he was patient with me while I asked every question under the sun. I feel good about recommending this place.

Amazing staff! I had a horrible experience with CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital this morning when they tried to scare me into paying nearly $1500 to treat my Guinea Pig (and the vet didn't even look at him) and told me to get him euthanized. I decided to bring my Guinea Pig here instead for a second opinion and the vet was incredible. She was quick, had excellent communication with us, and found the problem in no time. She gave us some medicine for a simple case of gas in the abdomen and even spotted a few other small things that we had not noticed. The whole thing only cost $260 and I felt much more comfortable with the situation. I will definitely come back to them if I'm in a pinch!

AMAZING VETERINARIAN! I first found Aspen Grove about a year ago when my cat was diagnosed with a rare disease chylothorax. I went to a few places prior to this when he was first diagnosed and completely lost all hope because the doctors weren’t familiar with the disease and basically told me my cat would need to be put down without exploring any possible options. Being an emotional mess I searched for better care and stumbled upon Aspen Grove. They have EXCEEDED my expectations and Dr. Sarah Deitrick immediately put my mind at ease. My cat is doing amazing under her care, and her and the entire team are absolutely wonderful. They always follow up after his visits to see how he’s doing, quickly answer any questions I have and put my worried mind at ease! They even sent me a personalized report card for him after a standard exam which I loved. I can’t express enough how grateful I am to have found this veterinarian and if you are still searching for the best care, Aspen Grove is your place!
