I’ve been coming here with my kitties and pup for a while and this is the best veterinary office I have ever been to. The vet and techs are super kind and know exactly what they’re doing! Honestly would rate this 10/5 stars if I could!!

I adopted a dog from All Aboard Animal rescue which wasn't the best experience for me, but these guys made up for it! They answer all of my questions, everyone is always super friendly, and they work with you! My dog absolutely loves going to the vet, which I think says a lot about how great they are! Highly recommend.

You can expect great care for your pets here. Our dog loves Dr Eric and his staff, as do we. Their prices are in line with most in the area. We have been going here for over 10 months and could not be happier. Highly recommend!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS VET. My pittie and I will go no where else.

PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE. About 1.5 years ago I was told my dog needed ACL surgery. After the surgery was completed at this doctors office, he has not been the same since (and is STILL limping). I have paid hundreds of dollars in other vet fee to be told he needs a correction surgery because the Animal Hospital of Colorado did a poor job. Please dont waste your money here.

The doc and staff are very knowledgeable and patient with my dog.

Dr. Boehmer and his techs are some of the nicest, most knowledgeable small animal professionals I have been around. My dog started to become ataxic around 15 weeks old and was misdiagnosed by a reputable Urgent Care department in town. I made an appointment to get Franklin in on Tuesday of that week (went to Urgent Care on Sunday) where Dr. Boehmer had me pull him from medications that can make him more ataxic and come back Thursday for a recheck/hip x-rays. Hip x-rays were clean and he suggested I take my dog to a neurologist in the Longmont area. Dr. Boehmer called the neurologist himself and got me an appointment the very next day. I believe that because Dr. Boehmer and his staff take each case and treat it as if it was their own animal it saved my dogs life and his ability to walk. Fast forward 2 years later and my dog is always happy and excited to walk into Dr. Boehmer’s office. Dr. Boehmer is open and honest and explains why or why he doesn’t suggest a treatment. I would definitely recommend his office for your all small animal needs!

After adopting a dog through the rescue Dr. Boehmer partners with (all aboard animal rescue) he and his wonderful team of capable young women have been the most informative, truthful, and caring staff I have ever seen. Go to these guys! They care about your animals. Our dog (10) had heartworm and some lumps and bumps. To be expected from an older mama dog. They have been wonderful in her treatment, that we decided to bring our cats to the practice. Same caring, professional result.

Rescued my dog through their All Aboard Adoption program and then continued to have my dog see this vet due to him already being familiar with her and also having such amazing customer service, questions answered and appointments run smoothly. Never will change.

Doctor seams like it’s all about the money and not the health of my pet! Took my animal elsewhere where they actually helped save there life, due to symptoms being ignored! Also staff was very rude, suggest going elsewhere for sake of animal!

Dr. Boehmer and his staff are the greatest. They have taken care of my little Rosey for years. Her health is so much better with their special attention.

I've had nothing but great service when bringing not only my rescue I got from All Aboard Animal Rescue but my other dog as well. I adopted a dog that had heartworm and the treatment was included in the cost of the adoption which I understand can cost up to $2000 if I had to pay for it on my own. I commend this office for being so willing to help treat these animals that we rescue by providing care that they are in no way obligated to do so. I have never left the office feeling like I paid too much money for anything. I find them to be very reasonable and in all the years I've owned animals I would say their prices are within the normal price range of any vet I've ever been to. I'm actually surprised at some of these reviews criticizing this practice saying things are expensive. Welcome to pet ownership. It's not free to have an animal. If you can't afford it then don't get them. I've looked at some of the people I see leaving reviews and they have nothing nice to say about any place they have reviewed anyways so take their reviews as you will. I don't live in Ft. Collins but will continue to bring my dogs here because I feel like they do care and take the time to treat my dogs the way I feel they should be treated. After speaking to the super kind girl who answered the phone & then meeting Dr Boehmer regarding neuter surgery for my rescue pup, I knew it would be completely worth the drive from Centennial to Ft Collins for this important procedure. All my questions were answered and every fear put to rest after I saw how my dog reacted to Dr Boehmer. One very small thing that Dr Boehmer did was to get on the floor with my dog instead of putting him on the table to examine him. My pup was comfortable, happy, and not scared at all. The staff at Dr Boehmer's office is exceptional too. I just can't thank them all enough for the wonderful care they took of my puppy. If I lived closer, I'd absolutely choose Animal Hospital of CO for my fur baby.

Dr. Boehmer is great, and has kept our pets happy and healthy! Our dog loves going to the vet because of all the attention and treats he gets. And although my cat would always prefer to be lounging at home, he definitely appreciates being able to roam freely and play with the catnip toys in the exam room. ???? This is a truly wonderful establishment!

We got a dog from All Aboard Animal Rescue (which as a rescue, they are great, I just wish their recommended vet/“free” exam wasn’t with this vet). So we went in for the appointment, the vet tech seemed very nice, we brought in her stool sample knowing it would Be extra but figured it would be worth the extra cost. So the vet tech explains to us she still needs a few other shots, 2 to be exact. We asked the cost and she said 18 for one shot and 21 for the other so we agreed to it. Then the vet came in and he asked what food we had her on, which was an above average kibble with no recalls and lots of friends recommended it. The vet goes on to try to sell us “hills science diet” which obviously was an agenda for him and he got some sort of profit for selling it. I’m glad we didn’t give in because I got home and did some research and people have had terrible experiences with that food.. anyways, we also purchased a rabies tag for our dog. We get the bill and it comes out to over $100. We look at the bill after getting home and realize we got charged for 3 shots and not 2. So we called the office and she said there were 2 vaccines in one of the shots which the vet tech never told us so we thought we were paying for 2 shots and ended up paying for 3. They never called us back about the stool sample results, and we never got our tag. It was clear their agenda was to sell the dog food to vulnerable customers, we are never going back here and will never recommend this vet. There are plenty of others around town who actually care about the animals rather than selling customers dog food.

Simply amazing best vet I've ever seen

Dr. Boehmer is very knowledgeable and compassionate. It's immediately obvious him and his staff enjoy their jobs, and it shows in the quality of care. I've tried a few vets in Fort Collins now, and have come to realize that the Animal Hospital of Colorado is one of the best choices. From yearly checkups and vaccines to more involved surgery, I've never had a bad experience here.

The doctor and staff have been so incredible. They have been nothing but supportive and provide the blunt honesty my partner and I are in need of. We will be customers for life.

Won't be going back, basically was made to feel like a bad pet owner so i would spend more money. Don't recommend for a rat let alone for your dog or cat
