I wish I could love this place like I used to. After the updates and new management with change of most staff, the friendliness is no longer there. Vet didn’t seem to care about my concerns. Was rushed. No longer coming back One recommendation I have would be to have an itemized treatment plan with low and high costs especially for emergencies or surgeries etc. Then have the clients sign and agree to the treatment plan before any procedure. 4seasons in Loveland does this.

Avenues is where we take our krazy kats (all 3 of 'em!) for veterinary care. Truly outstanding, friendly service and a genuine concern for the health and welfare of my furry family members. Thank You!

I came in with an emergency with my puppy dog and they never missed a beat! We were taken care of pretty much instantly. I was allowed to be a part of everything going on with him, it was a great experience. My puppy dog was fixed up in no time, came home with me that evening and is doing great now! I didn’t have a vet in tow. Because we just moved here, but I found my vet! Thank you all again!

We were very grateful that the clinic was opened later in the evening when our sons dog was very ill and needed immediate attention. They were very professional and did all they could possibly do to try to save her. They explained things well and told us what the options and outlook were. Our situation did not have a happy ending, as Sophie was very sick. They really tried. The only negative thing I would say that maybe they need to think about is not trying to collect their money as you're walking out the door sobbing and crying your eyes out because of the loss you just experienced. It made things very awkward. We just wanted to leave and get back to our families to mourn our loss. Yes, they were excellent in their care, but they could maybe try a little or maybe alot more compassion and understanding about how hard that already is. Money isn't everything at that moment in time. Compassion is everything. Not sure we'd go back there.

Avenues Pet Clinic staff have been like family. They have worked with me for over 10 years to care for my pets as a team. I would recommend them to anyone.

This place is amazing. I just moved to Cheyenne from Atlanta and hadn’t found a vet for my animals yet- I had an emergency with my cat and they were able to get us in within an hour. They were sooo nice and treated me, my husband, and my cat with care. Safe to say we found our new vet office! Thanks dr. Kaiser!

Avenues Pet Clinic - and particularly Dr Mangiameli and vet tech Kristen Derenard - are absolute heroes. I was traveling cross country, chaperoning an older dog that fell into distress on my overnight in Cheyenne. Despite crammed schedules, they fit us in and examined the dog before office hours began. Dr M treated the immediate discomfort and addressed the underlying issues in addition to laying out a plan for needed follow up. Ms Derenard went out of her way to find solutions to the unique challenges we faced as a result of being on the road, providing detailed guidance for the owner and the vet in the new town. This team took a wholistic approach that got to the heart of the problem. They were compassionate, effective, efficient and very kind. I wish they were my local veterinary office. I recommend them enthusiastically.

Doctor Kaiser has been a great Veterinarian for our Lila. She was very helpful and helped walk us through all the different treatment options. She is also very responsive to emails and she exudes a calm and professional manner that is reassuring and helped alleviate a lot of our anxiety. I would absolutely recommend her and Avenues to all of my friends and customers who have pets.

Avoid this clinic if you have a sick animal! We lost our 10 year old dog way too soon and feel this vets inexperience and lack of care contributed. We had 3 different vets from Avenues working with our dog Pancho. Then we were consistently with Dr. Jones. This whole process was a nightmare. We felt the whole time none of the vets new what was wrong with our dog. By the 3 visit they said it was immune mediated anemia. My spouse and I have come to the conclusion (and suspected throughout the treatment) that Dr. Jones over prescribed our 10 year old dog with prednisone. To the point of causing him to develop cushings disease. How can a vet sit there and claim that it is all part of the side effects of prednisone when a dog goes from walking perfectly fine to barely walking and standing up. Pancho developed a significant curve in his spine in less than a month. On the last 2-3 visits, I expressed how concerned we were. On the last visit, I couldn’t even get Pancho in the vet without some of the other staff helping me carry him out of my car. He went from 110lbs to 100lbs and this was devastating. I tried and wanted to have confidence and trust in this vet. But after inside, Dr. Jones had no concern at all about our beloved Pancho. She acted like it was normal and routine. I had been balling all morning worried about Pancho because I knew deep down something wasn’t right. I even asked Dr. Jones “so you’re telling me this will all reverse after Pancho gets off the prednisone?” She said “yes.” Also, that day she prescribed him two more medications! Which is complete B.S. Dr. Jones had no concern that the dog under her care went from normal walking to barely being able to walk - in less than a month! Pancho’s stomach was bloated and sagging. He lost noticeably large amount of muscle/weight in his back legs and was boney in his spine. The excessive dose of prednisone raised his cortisol levels and killed him in a month. Poor Pancho of only 10 passed away on Friday. His appointment was that Monday. (Here comes the sarcasm) Thank you Avenue’s for being so empathetic. Thank you for NEVER reaching out to us after we lost Pancho or provide any condolences- even after cancelling his next check up because he had passed! I would stay far away from this place. Use at your own risk.????

They over sell and they are not very friendly. They also act as though it’s back in 2020. Telling people they need to call and let them know they arrive. They tell you to wear your mask if you’re not vaccinated. Their mindset hasn’t moved on since last year. Just bad energy all around. Taking my money elsewhere next time I need to go to the vet.

We were out of town when our dog battling cancer had a seizure. The Avenues was quick to respond, treat, and communicate with us and our dog sitter regarding our dog's care.

I have used this clinic myself twice with my fur babies and decided it was not for us. We have never felt so uncomfortable with a veterinary clinic before and just decided to never go back. The staff highly lacks empathy for any animal to come into their clinic. They are just looking for the certain animal owners that are willing to pay the highest amount in cash/credit etc. All the animals owners bring their loved ones in searching for medical help or screening trusting in the care they will receive. They made us uncomfortable every single time. I am a firm believer into giving any business another chance especially because I have worked for many here and Cheyenne and they all deserve more then one chance to show their customers they care. We all have our bad days. But every time they wanted an absurd amount of money before they would even Consider taking care of our beloved animals. The very last time was not my decision. I was watching my friends dog like many times before and he got very sick after eating a mass amount of human, cat and dog food while I was working outside our home. He was at a old age with some other medical issues that contributed to his way of coping and processing everything he ate. The staff made us feel like we we had done something terrible. The questions they were asking were absurd. We went to them for help! As soon as we brought him in we were not asked anything about his health, what happened to him that made him feel so terrible, they put us in a room and then did nothing to explain anything or how he was doing. I am a nurse and couldn’t believe that this was professionalism from a veterinary clinic. They truly do not care about these animals what so ever. It makes me sick that they are open and continue to treat animals and their owners so terrible. I have heard stories from many other people here in Cheyenne with similar experiences. Animal owners, do not take your animals here! Do not give them a second chance to do better and especially don’t give them your money, let alone trust for them to care for your animals. There are so many other options here in Cheyenne with exceptional veterinary skills. Or go to Colorado but don’t risk the health of your animals!

This place is a joke. We used to really like this place but it has really changed for the worst. Very overpriced and they are so unorganized and unprofessional. They have tried to double up/over vaccinate our dogs as they can't keep track of their records. We will be taking our dogs to a more competent and legitimate veterinary clinic.

I took my dog to Avenues for a second opinion. He was having nasal issues. The previous vet said we'd have to take a trip to Loveland to have his nasal issues taken care of. I spent a good half hour with Dr. Barker, and she was patient with me and answered my questions. My dog's issues were taken care of at the Clinic. I learned more in that half hour than I did from the other vet. You'll notice above I said "previous vet". I am now a happy customer of Avenues.

We took our dog there after going to another vet. They were able to diagnose our dog with diabetes and get treatment for him very quickly. Thanks for your attention and care.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. I Adopted A Stray younger cat and told the vet she was a stray and could possibly be pregnant she gave my kitty a vaccine anyway not knowing and a few weeks later I called to cancel an appointment I had for her because she was pregnant and I didn’t want to stress her out the lady at the front desk said watch out for deformed kittens very rude like!! I ended up having to pay 600 dollars to get her spayed and her babies removed. To top it off the discharge paper work said to give her pain medicine 3 times a day witch I did for the first two days before realizing my cat looked like she was about to die on the actual bag the medicine came in says to only give it to her twice a day!!!! Are you kidding me??? Not to mention her ear mites are still not gone after $300. I’m going somewhere else. Very unprofessional and rude!!!! UNBELIEVABLE. HOW ARE YOU IN BUSINESS?

I took my dog in for his annual check up and you guys told me that his health was completely perfect. A month later, he died of kidney failure. If you guys were thorough in your check ups, I could have had time to properly treat my best friend and save him. Instead he went undiagnosed until it was too late.

Both my dogs were hit by a car. We brought them to Avenues. The staff was so kind and caring. They quickly took paw prints as a keepsake and treated us very gently and respectfully. Thank you.

A big thank you to Dr. Kaiser and her team. We were able to get our dog in same day as he was doing poorly. In the end we opted for euthanasia and could not have asked for a kinder, compassionate and knowledgeable person in Dr. Kaiser to guide us through it all.

Things are quite different among Covid. The staff came out to retrieve my pets one at a time and take a history from me. I was a little worried that the communication wouldn't be good after hearing other's experiences with similar situations at vet appointments, but Dr Rod called me on the phone and answered all the questions I had and there was no mix up. Way to go Avenues Pet Clinic for meeting and exceeding standards in every situation.
