They were open when all the vets were not. I was not happy with the staff but the vet was great.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR DOG—AVOID THIS LOCATION. Unprofessional with zero follow through on paperwork. They will muzzle your dog without your permission. They DO NOT review previous visit reports and send animals away with minimal diagnosis or assistance. IMPORTANT: My dog likely has a broken leg. Has been seen by this clinic for two years. I have asked for X-rays three different times. They literally called and removed us from their client list because I’m demanding an X-ray on a leg he has been limping on for three days. So much for animal care and concern. Save your time and your energy. Go elsewhere.

Very helpful staff and vets! I took my new kitten there and they got him up to date on shots and were very quick.

Very friendly staff who take good care of your pet and seem to have your best interest in mind. They were still doing drop off when I went. During pickup I don't always feel like I get a good explanation of what my pet needs next or an explanation of what was done during my pets visit, besides a sheet of paper. It seems like when I call to set up appointments they ask me what stuff I want done versus telling me or recommending what my pet needs next as part or their yearly appointments or wellness plan. For free dental cleaning as part of the wellness plan, your pet needs to go in for a pre-op appointment first. You'll get an estimated charges sheet for the dental cleaning. Although the cleaning is free, you could be charged for additional scaling, extractions, and meds that go with the extractions. They said they won't know if any of this needs to be done until the pet is under anesthesia. They also won't call you if your pet needs extractions to let you decide if they need to be done. In my cases, these charges ranged from $240-$400 and the fine print says that the estimate could swing anywhere from 10-15%. I'll be much happier when they're not doing drop off anymore and if they start over explaining things, so I don't have to wonder if I'm doing everything I need to for my pet to be healthy.

They were great and show a lot of concern and price for the dog care was affordable

Not sure how this place calls itself an "urgent care". Offering to see my dog the next day was far from helpful. Was better off waiting the long wait time at an ER.

This is a five star review but it was really painful. My dog that had been part of my family for 13 years passed away. The staff that helped us with the transition was very humane and helpful. I think that in moments like this, when conditions are not the best, if a business shine, they deserve the time to be recognized for it. Thank you.

I can't say enough good things about this clinic. They were very knowledgeable and treated my cat with care.

Hours listed on Google are not accurate. They also are not walk ins and are still blaming covid for this. If sporting venues & concert venues can be at full capacity a vetrinary clinic can operate normally. Definitely do not recommend.

I had to to take my cat here when my vet was unavailable. I found the care to be very thorough and was satisfied. I would take my cat back. They are very busy though so sometimes you have to call several times to get through.

They took very good care of my very old, sick dog. Very kind and developed a practical treatment plan for him given his age. They were good about working a quick appointment so he didn't have to wait weeks to get care.

Unfortunately I've never met the vets here because I got my dog after COVID and humans are still not allowed inside as of August 2021. They say that's due to a "stafging issue". What?! The last 2 times I've made an appt, I waited 2 hrs. outside in my car. This is WITH an appt. Why make an appt? You call from your car, they take your dog right away and he sits in a room by himself for a hour. Then the vet finally calls you to tell you what they think and it takes another hour for the girl to call you to check out. The office manager needs to reevaluate workflow for sure. Also, after speaking to the vets on the phone (two different ones) , they don't make me feel confident in their abilities. I'll leave it at that. I gave it 2 chances, now I'm done. Going with my gut and finding a new clinic.

I was able to get in next day for my very sick cat! Great staff! The communication was great for not being able to be with him during the appt. We drove from almost 2 hours away, and couldn't be happier with them!

I would like to be able to schedule appointments further out, by at least a few days, since appointments here are either same day, or 1 day out,, but other than that, I highly recommend this vet! The staff is extra friendly and very caring! I will continue to bring Polly to Capital City Vet!!!

They are great when you need urgent Vet Care on The Weeknd after hours. They're open 7 days a week till 9 p.m. and the prices are reasonable.

My dog is extremely uncooperative when it comes to vets. Due to Covid we cannot go inside with her making it more difficult. The staff were super understanding and were able to get her physical exam, all the vaccines and even a nail trim. Highly recommended. Prices are very reasonable.

We moved from IL in the midst of COVID and needed a vet for our cat and dog. Dr. Dean and his staff have been so very caring and compassionate. They treated our animals and us as one of their family. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your pet care. Thanks for taking such good care of our pets and us.

As a new puppy mom I have called a couple of times for advice, and the staff I have spoken with are patient, knowledgeable and kind. The techs who come to see us curbside are marvelous. Thank you all!!

Have a middle-aged German Shepherd who has had gut problems all his life I cannot believe nobody discovered what the problem was ....these guys gave him medicine and told us what to feed him as far as a mixture of dry and wet and no grain ...simple fix wonderful people ....yes he has to be on the medicine for life for small intestine bacteria... but I'll take that over his diarrhea and losing weight any day...tthank you much...Kato
