My family has been taking our pets to Valley Vet since I was a child. I continued with my pets as an adult. I am now 54. Dr Lorfeld was always so kind, gentle caring. I would go no where else. Everyone there cares about animals. It is not just a paycheck

I have been working with this office for 4 years and they were always very reasonable and fair. Until TODAY …. Charged 5x the cost for medications. Not given a breakdown of expenses prior to being charged and then refused to correct in any way. $25.97 for a single pill that cost $5 for an entire bottle from a standard pharmacy and $61.95 for a $15 medication. This is ridiculous and taking advantage of very trusting customers. Curbside service needs to be open and transparent in anyway and not utilized to rob your customers with. Kudos to Brenda who was very kind and understanding but unable to get her “boss” to be reasonable.

I absolutely love the entire staff at valley pet! They make you feel so welcome and take phenomenal care of all my pets! I recommend them highly and couldn't imagine going anywhere else! They educate me on whats best for my pets, and take extra precautions on their care! I always leave knowing they got the best care possible!

Dr. Lorfeld was very patient and graciously let us say good bye to our cat today. He took the time to show us all her tests and xrays answering any questions to help us make a very difficult decision. All of the vets and staff are outstanding. Thank you for caring. Jackie Paske

Love all that work there. They are so helpful and always have a warm welcome for you and your pet. Dr. Scott always takes time to explain everything and also pays attention to your pet. Love a vet that does that.

The staff was really nice and I was asked multiple times if I had any questions or concerns about my pet, so they seem to genuinely care about addressing any concerns that you might have. I felt comfortable with the way they handled my pet, and she's a bit skittish but she even seemed fairly comfortable with them as well. Overall I'm pleased with how the appointment went and I'm happy that I chose Valley Vet as my vet

What a shame to see a once wonderful and accommodating vet clinic go corporate. I took two cats to the vet today, and was charged $62 per cat for the office call alone. I was only in the office less than 30 minutes- total- for both cats, and the vet was only with us about 15 minutes of that time. They also won't do dentals any longer, and refer you to a very pricey dental specialist for even routine dental procedures. The office staff was pleasant, and so was the doctor, but that's not enough to keep people coming to the business. It's a pity to have to look for a new clinic after 30 years of being a very satisfied, regular customer.

Absolutely wonderful with my high anxiety reactive GSD. Couldn't recommend a better place. They are not only taking new patients but they also fit us in on short notice for a checkup and neuter. Excellent customer service and true understanding of my dogs anxiety and reactive demeanor. Our boy's Doctor was wonderful and very patient. Our Vet tech was great and allowed me to come inside with Odin because it was the safest option. I'm so very pleased with the appointment experience. Understanding and patience while keeping things as brief as possible to reduce the added stress on our dog. Follow-up: We received a call today asking about our boy post operation. He's doing well and they asked me all the right questions so I am grateful and appreciative. My boy also received a card in the mail welcoming him to the practice. This was a very nice touch and sweet. Thank you ???? I highly recommend this as your veterinarian!

I decided to try out Valley Vet to see if the grass was greener, so to speak, compared with my other vet. I hadn't been to Valley Vet in near a decade as the vet I had previously been seeing left the clinic. Right from the first phone call, I was blown away by the customer service of the staff over the phone. It was absolutely unlike the conversations I've had at some other clinics recently. I understand not everyone can bring a smile to their voice, or maybe are too burned out to do so, but the staff at Valley Vet were beyond pleasant and caring! Everyone was so upbeat, helpful, and thorough over the phone. The vet himself spent longer with me over the phone for a non serious issue (discussing my cat's weight) than my other vet spent car-side discussing another cat's heart failure. I know veterinary clinics have been so busy during the pandemic, but it was a breath of fresh air to speak with staff with such compassionate customer service. Thank you very much, it was a great experience.

The staff was great! Very attentive on time vet called talked 2 me throughly a little bit more expensive than some other places But worth the few extra $ for the experience and care. Thanks Dr Leslie and staff for helping so much w my puppies loverboy and love bug. Ill definitely see you again!

I would have given 0 stars but I could not. Due to a new dr taking over and the new higher costs of medications, office visits and surgeries, this vet decided to drop us as clients very unprofessionally and very rudely. Also the staff was unprofessional and very untrained in customer service. I would not recommend any animals to go to this vets office. Look around before taking any animals here, as there are much cheaper places with better service in the oshkosh area.. also dr Scott would not take my calls and had a lady named Gloria call and tell us we were not allowed to bring our animals to valley veterinarian office because I questioned their new prices... this is not the way customers should be treated... we are now at the omro vet and they are a 100% better in every way....the new dr. Scott only cares about money and not the animals .... and that lady named Gloria is a real piece of work in a very evil way.... we have been loyal to this veterinarians office for over 20 years and now they treat us like garbage and with no respect for any of the animals entering their doors... choose wisely before going here...

The tableside manners here are deplorable. The vet was always crass and harsh with us about our dog, who is no longer with us. When we brought in our new family member, he very clearly stated he doesnt like chihuahuas and it showed in his demeanor. Not thorough or informative.

Not only is the staff and doctors super friendly, they are also affordable. I love knowing my animals are in good hands.
