Spayed accomplished for our puppy. She is doing very well.

We trust Dr. Miller and MVC for expert and loving care of our kitties.

You could grow old waiting for this vet to show up. It is habitual. Inconsiderate of me but even more so for my anxious dog.

My dog has been a patient his entire life (he is now 11). He has been on Ibuprofen for dogs for the last year and a half. Dr. Miller is refusing today refill his prescription for ibuprofen unless I pay for the costly bloodwork yet again as well as a physical exam. I explained I could afford the exam but not the bloodwork. I also explained that he is in pain and elderly. Dr. Miller did not suggest any other medication, nor did she offer any payment plan or modification to cost. She did not return my phone calls and I have only spoken to the receptionist. Since he didn’t need bloodwork for the ibuprofen when she first prescribed the medication (he had bloodwork done for another medication after already being prescribed the ibuprofen), I’m wondering why he would need it done now??

Terrible Experience ------------------------------- I found a cat, and wanted to get her check up. I googled animal clinics and found Monona Veterinary Clinic. The veterinarian told me that the cat needed Revulation Plus medicine, and they charged me $116 plus tax for Revulation Plus. When I got home, I found out that the same medicine is $68 on chewy.com I went back to the clinic, and complained about the huge price difference. They said they had high expenses, and so they didn't except the return, or refund. So Don't Purchase Anything From Them without checking the online price. Note: I am attaching the receipt, and the online price.

Veternary experience was very good. We are new to the area and my pup was able to get in for vaccinations within the same week! Thank you Monona Veterinary Clinic.

Over priced. Not the cleanest place. No welcome feeling from staff especially the vet. Staff have no common sense about heart worm & tick prevention. Found another vet that is half her price and have way much better staffing!

My cat was not feeling well and with his symptoms he needed to be seen today. Not only did the wonderful tech (really wish I could recall her name) at the front counter work us in today, but she was very nice and understanding of our situation. The doctor has excellent bedside manners and was very reassuring that my little buddy was going to be okay. My cats are my family, and they treated him with love and respect.

Dr. Miller is a great doctor. I took my 16 year old pit bull to Monona vet since he was 8 weeks old. Dr. Miller started seeing him when he was 2 years old all the way until the day he went to the rainbow bridge. My baby went under many surgeries for tumors and Dr. Miller did a wonderful job of getting all of it out and didn't leave a noticeable scar. Dr Miller is a great teacher on how to give shots and giving fluids under the skin. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Miller has taken excellent care of our cats for many years. She takes the time to explain things and prints things out for us. Her staff is very kind and helpful.

I am incredibly impressed with the service from Dr. Jensen and his staff. We were visiting family in Prairie and discovered a lump on our Golden, Basil, that turned out to be a mast cell tumor. The office made arrangements to get us in quickly for surgery. Dr. Jensen was very compassionate and thorough and I was 100% confident in his ability to give us the best possible outcome. He also took extra time to talk me thru different scenarios when we learned Basil had a low RBC. I cannot say enough good things about MVC and give them my highest recommendations.

Doctor Miller has been taking care of our cats and dogs for years. She is very thorough - always investigates a symptom to determine what the problem is before throwing a treatment at it. She always takes the time to answer all the questions we have, and has called us at home in the evening to report test results. She makes referrals when another vet might have more expertise (example: emergency treatments and specialized care). Doctor Miller knows our pets by name and treatment history, and it's obvious she loves her patients. We would not trust Louie and Stella (our cats) or Steve The Wonderdog to any other vet.

I did not like the service I received at Monona Vet Clinic. I feel that they do not keep good records nor do they give accurate information their clients. When I asked for a history of everything we had done at the clinic they were only able to provide a list of things for which our dog was due. The clinic uses abbreviations for all reminder cards and when I asked for more information about what each was, I received an explanation from the 15 year old receptionist that Heartworm medication should be given to repel ticks - which is not true. Finally, the reminder list also included Castration, which was done before we even brought the dog there.
