It's taken me a few months to post our review. The lady Vet that came to our home was the best Vet that We've ever delt with. She was genuinely empathetic kind and caring towards our dog and family ❣️ Our dog was a wonderful boy, but also too big for my husband and I to try to carry to a local vet. We also didn't have a good opinion of that other Vet. We're so thankful for The Lap of Love Vet, as she made 1 of the most difficult days, less difficult! We highly recommend this service! Thank you again for such a caring experience ????????❣️

I will never find the right words to explain how amazing Lap Of Love is! The entire process of at-home euthanasia was handled with such professionalism and care. Dr. Beth came to our home to help our furbaby, Reese, cross the rainbow bridge. She was compassionate, caring and empathetic. She made a really difficult situation the best it could possibly be. I 100% recommend Dr Beth and the Lap Of Love team.

I heard of Lap of Love through friends who put their fur baby down last year. Hearing their story, I knew at home euthanasian was the route I wanted to go once needed. My 13-year-old Miller was diagnosed with cancer in his spleen and lungs last month (November). It was only going to get harder for him to breathe. Making that phone call was the hardest thing I had to do, but the people who work at Lap of Love are compassionate and empathetic. I don't remember who I spoke with on the phone, but she let me cry without worry until I could get words out again. Her soft voice felt like a hug coming over the phone. (Sorry that I don't remember your name). I do remember the doctor who came to the house though... Dr. Beth. She made a heartbreaking situation into a more peaceful one. I feel that my sweet fur baby was in good hands through this journey; from the time she arrived at my house, to the time his ashes were delivered at home. I have been with a dog when they cross the rainbow bridge both at a vet and at home. If given the option, I would recommend at home with Lap of Love.

We used them back in January and I highly recommend them. Very caring and compassionate to our wishes to have our dog put down here at home. We felt him being alone with masked strangers was not for our boy. Though we still had to wear the stupid useless masks he at least knew who we were, and was able to go in peace surrounded by his people. I definitely recommend lap of love.

Wow.. I can't say enough good things about this company... They were so professional, punctual and reliable, and the sweetest people I've ever talked to on the other end of a call to a business. I found their service last minute and they were able to help me right away. The experience they provided me doesn't really have a price on it... Getting to hold my best friend, in the comfort of his home, and say a peaceful goodbye. They gave me the ability to give something to him that I didn't think was possible, and there aren't many words to express how grateful I am to have been able to do that for him. Thank you Lap of Love. <3 I'll be doing whatever I can to share what you do with more people. You're a blessing! (Picture of my little man attached!) <3 :)

I am a hospice nurse and have been more than honored to be with people and their families, before, during and after death. Sounds odd and it is true. My expectations were high and all of them were met. Compassion Interest Presence Consideration of the type of relationship with our dog Education and explanations about what we will see Allowing time alone after our girl left Let us lovingly carry our girl out to the van. Our experiences in the past with our other 2 girls was 5 stars behind the Lap of Love Thank you to all the staff for your kindness and responsiveness. Mari Hang my wife Margaret Duckhorn and our pit mix Rosie. Rosie lived and died very, very well.

I had to make the hardest decision to end my cat's suffering. I made the call to Lap of Love on a Friday evening, approximately 6:30 p.m. I did not expect anyone to answer after business hours, but I spoke with the most helpful woman who walked me through the details. She was so kind an compassionate through all my tears. I'm not sure her name, but I received a follow up email from Kristen providing all of the information I needed, so it may have been her who answered my call. Dr. Allison was incredible. She came to our home so that our cat's final moments were peaceful and he did not have to go through the stress of another car ride. Everyone was so caring and helpful from start to finish, and it really made a difference through such a difficult time. They followed up with emails and helpful information and made us feel very supported. If you are in this unfortunate position, this place will help keep your pet happy, calm and dignified in the final moments. Thank you so much Kristen, Dr. Allison and everyone else who helped us during this heartbreaking time.

Can not say enough about the love and compassion that Lap of Love provides for families and their furbabies during the most difficult time in the life of their beloved pet. I am thankful and grateful to my Veterinarian for referring me to them! The compassion for you and your pet is met the moment they pick up the phone.

Dr Allison was really amazing, I can’t stop praising her. She helped us to cope with one of the hardest decisions one can make. She helped our 17 yr old mastiff mix in his last moments, she was so gentle and kind (Maxx trusted her right away). Thank you again Dr Allison Bergin. Sharon Moore Milwaukee 08-02-2020

One of the hardest days of our lives was putting our beloved Sophie to sleep. Dr Allison was wonderful and talked us through everything. We are so thankful we could do this in our own home. Thank you.

Very friendly and caring staff! Brought in my cat for a check up and staff was very good about keeping me in the loop of what was going on during the exam, as I could not enter the facility due to Covid procedures in place. Doctor follow ups were also appreciated to discuss solutions to help my cat. Would recommend to others.

We had the best possible experience in this situation. Dr. Bergin was wonderful and we felt at ease with her. She was also available to come to our yard SAME DAY during a pandemic when many vets offices, including our local emergency, aren’t even allowing people in. I’m sure there is really high demand, even Pet Lawn is doing no on site euthanasia. We were grateful she could come quickly when our precious boy took a turn for the worst suffering from acute leukemia. I can’t say enough good things and I couldn’t recommend more. Thank you Dr Bergin and Lap of Love.

Dr Alison came to us in under 24h to help us say goodbye to our much beloved dog. She was perfect for this very difficult situation. Both straightforward and compassionate and willing to go at your own pace. Recommended 200%

Dr allison was great. Had to put down our 160 lb bull mastiff and was a little concerned how the dog would react with a new stranger n being sick. She did an amazing job and it turned out better than I could have hoped. She was caring and compassionate about the situation. 100% great job and very thankful for the quick response time as the dog was outside and unable to move and wouldnt let us move him.

When our cat reached the end of his life, the folks at Lap of Love were so caring and compassionate. They come right to your home to put your pet to rest, which was a great comfort to me because our cat was always very distressed to ride in the car and I wanted his final moments to be more soothing than that. I had been dreading the experience, but the people at Lap of Love made it so much easier for us. I'll always be glad with the choice we made, and I've recommended them to friends facing the same tough times.

This is the hardest thing we have ever had to do. While we know we did the right thing it doesnt make it easy. In home euthenasia is a gift to our beloved pets. God Bless Dr. Bergin for doing what she does and being dedicated to ensuring our beloved pets crossover the rainbow Bridge peacefully and in the comfort of their home. Thank you again for your kindness. We thank you and Jersey thanks you.

Dr Allison was such an amazing godsend to our family during a time of need. Her kindness and professionalism was beyond incredible and she made our difficult time so much easier than it would have been otherwise.

Dr. Allison was absolutely fantastic. This was my first time doing in-home euthanasia and was nervous at first, but once she arrived I knew my loved one was in good hands. She was so sweet and communicated everything so well. I have never felt so confident in my decision to have Lap of Love come in and provide my kitty with the peace she needed. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a pet that is about to pass on.

We had to say goodbye our beloved family pet today Dr. Alison was able to come out in a short amount of notice time and was amazing in our time of grief. We were able to say good bye in our home and knew what was happening every step of the way. Dr. Alison was truly exceptional.
