Central Bark Doggy Day Care Milwaukee, Wisconsin

My fiancé and I came up to Milwaukee for a weekend getaway from Chicago and it was much easier to get my dog Wrigley in for a grooming appointment here than it was in Chicago. The folks here are very friendly, ask thorough questions about what you’re looking for, and had her to me in just three hours. She looks fantastic. We’ll be back in the future when we’re up here again!

I love central bark but don’t recommend this location because of the groomers

We love Central Bark Third Ward! We are so thankful for the amazing staff who take care of everything from boarding to grooming to doggy daycare. The retail store has great treats, toys and helpful products we can rarely resist.

We know several things about Central Bark Doggy Care: Downtown - 1) our pup is going to be excited when dropped off and never look back 2) that she is in safe hands while there 3) that she will be super tired when she gets home and 4) if we need to get in an extra visit, the team is super accommodating to fit her in. Great staff and trainers - you can't go wrong getting your dog enrolled here.

Love Lexi as the groomer!! She does an incredible job and is so kind so the pups in her care. I highly recommend her!!

The staff is so friendly, authentic and always makes us feel comfortable leaving our 2 goldendoodles in their care. We also have nothing but great things to say about trainer Julia - she truly cares about the dogs she works with and always took the time to teach us how to train our super active dood! We strongly recommend their day care and training services.

Lexi is such a good groomer she loves all the dogs and cares so much about her work and the well being of the pups.

The staff is extensively trained to understand dog behaviors and works daily with their groups to provide stimulating activities both physically and mentally to enrich the dogs well being while at day care and later at home. The level of communication and teamwork among the staff ensures every dog has the best experience everyday. Every customer both dog and human are special and treated just the way the staff would like their dog or themselves to be treated when using a day care or grooming service.

Took my dog here once. He got Kennel Cough. The also charge a hidden $20 "Behavior Assessment Fee" your dog's first time. This was never mentioned to us until after we got charged. Further, the "Behavior Assessment" added zero value. It basically said that my dog played with other dogs and didn't like being crated in the middle of the day (DUH!). Not sure why that cost an extra $20. All in all, it cost us about $60 for one day of day care and for my dog to get sick (not including vet fees and medication fees following his illness).

The Central Bark Downtown team— Elise, Dennis, and Marsha— went above and beyond to accommodate my cautious dog. Because of their caring approach we felt welcome from the very first minute. I am so very thankful for the time the team has invested in getting to know my dog, to ensure she is happy and comfortable in their care.

I love this place, they were so good to my Emma. They were so honest when Emma wouldn't come out of her kennel and didn't want to interact with the other dogs anymore. I still take Emma for spa day and she loves it! Everyone that works there and the owners are so friendly. I highly recommend!

I dropped my dogs off here for a few days when we went out of town. We came home and they were happy to see us although they seemed to be very happy at this location. I will be bringing them back soon!

Central Bark’s staff was quick to work with me on the phone to get my dog enrolled. The staff greeted us at the door and immediately kicked into action. We are very happy with our decision to start Moose at Central Bark Downtown Milwaukee!

I brought my dog in to see if he might like playing with other dogs. The staff were so incredibly welcoming, inviting, and kind. It turns out that large play groups are just a bit too much for my dog, and Central Bark did a behavioral assessment to learn this. They are so professional, so accommodating, and I will probably be back to get my dog's nails trimmed. Central Bark on 1st Street is a great place I would recommend.

Great staff and trusted place for your dog's care. Our dog has been going here for around 10 years now! The daily Facebook posts with pictures of your ???? are excellent too! Our little girl is tired for days after her weekly play date at Central Bark!

My dog loves this place!! It's run like a tight ship. Very organized and also has a great staff to accommodate each dog. Love the nap time for my dog loves sleeping in her"alone time" kennel. I have a border collie so she's super hard to tire out, and every time I pick her up, she thanks me with a kiss and takes a quick nap in the car. Love her smiles when I pick her up!!

I’ve been with CBD for about 5 or so months and you have the most wonderful staff that I’ve come across in a LONG time. I go to a lot of service industry based business and the level of customer service from your staff is amazing. The staff is there bright eyed and smiling at 7am to eagerly greet Charlie as she comes tearing through the door. Then, to watch how they handle 85 people picking up their dog at the same time is amazing - the staff NEVER seems flustered or overwhelmed when I’ve been in there. The training, spa services and weekend stays are just a bonus!!!! Wonderful group of people

My Dog is way better when it comes to commands. Service is good and facilities are always in good shape
