My family was interested in some basic training (either group or 1:1) as well as very flexible daycare for our dog but were turned away for all of the above. I'm honestly taken aback by how unwelcoming this daycare is.

We have been bringing our very particular 14 year old cocker spaniel to North Paw for a little over a year now. In the past, we had brought her to only one other boarding facility, which the staff indicated she preferred to stay in her concrete kennel as opposed to going outside and playing with the other dogs. Since we have been bringing her to North Paw, she gets to be herself and wander their facility without the expectations of playing, has extra stimulation with the interaction with humans and other activities, and always is happy and crying in the car when we drive away after picking her up. Overall, if you have a small dog, I would highly recommend bringing them to North Paw. Best Staff and facility around!

My two little pups love North Paw! I have nothing but positive things to say about Laura and the rest of the staff. They are very attentive, and my pups are always exhausted when they come home! I love that there is a daycare just for little dogs; it truly is a special place!

We have a very anxious dog, and has been as a puppy when separated from us. After 1:1 training and multiple visits we were provided suggestions to improve our dogs anxiety, which we implemented at home, except the use of medication prescribed by a vet. This was the most consistent suggestion we received from Laura. Our dog is young and we never felt comfortable with that solution. We understand that this is a lot to deal with which is why we really appreciated finding a place that said they would help handle it and help us! We continued to take her there and occasionally when we picked her up, we’d get a brief update but never saying things were bad (~1-2 minutes). After a break from daycare for a bit we took her back and we’re asked to pick her up early due to her anxiety. In conversation again, we were told we have to medicate or are not allowed to bring her back. We were rather shocked, and decided to just leave and get her home. After emailing asking Laura for a daily debrief in writing, we were told by Laura that they had given us detailed conversations multiple times which normally would cost money. After a couple more unprofessional responses, when asking for more detail we were told to part ways. All in all North Paw makes a series of claims, and has a great facility. We thought things were going well and Laura was there to help. However, should your dog have any special needs, be ready to pay, medicate, or be not allowed in this selective center.

My dog LOVES doing to North Paw. Seriously. We pull up and she loses her mind and gets all crazy excited. They have great, well researched activities for the dogs and their customer service is flawless. Also, they send you photos and videos of your pup during the day. They make my day and make me wish I could go play fun games with doggies!

Laura and her staff are the best! They really do love the littles, and it shows in the variety of daily activities and attention they're given, as well as the super nice facilities designed specially for them. My Chihuahua mix loves going there!

Northpaw is great, Laura really cares. The focus on smaller pets is purrfect. The whole space is really nice and clean with an environment that is more free range than cage based and I love that!

We are very protective pet parents, and I never would have imagined taking our pups to daycare at all before meeting Laura. She is awesome—positive, incredibly observant, and truly in love with all the pets in her care. She greets them as old friends when we go there, and she works hard to make sure that our dogs—with two very different personalities—both have a great experience.

Laura and the North Paw team are amazing! Our dog has separation anxiety so I was looking for a daycare that would keep him busy and not just crate him all day long. They do a great job keeping the pups mentally and physically engaged during the day and monitor our pup during his afternoon rest time to make sure he isn't becoming anxious. I highly recommend North Paw if you want great care for your pups or kitties.

Laura's knowledge and enthusiasm is apparent in everything from the design of the space to the debrief at the end of a pet's stay. I never worry about my dog when he's in her care. And he always comes home happy and exhausted!
