I am very disappointed in my most recent experience with this vet. I have two cats that I took to this vet since they were kittens. One of my cats became ill and was diagnosed with FLUTD this fall. The vet prescribed special food that I was told my cat would most likely need for the rest of his life. I bought two bags over the last few months, as I now have to feed my other cat this food (it's difficult to separate different food). I asked for the the prescription so I could purchase future food on Chewy. They were offering a 15% coupon...which I'll take any savings I can get. They refused to give me his prescription stating that my cat's last wellness visit was over a year ago. This is confusing. They just recently saw my cat three times and had him in observation for several days, all within the past two months. I spent about $1,300 in total for these visits and food at this clinic. They refused to give me his prescription that the doctor told me he would need going forward. I don't understand why a general wellness check would change his diet. And, I have to ask, did they not check his wellness during the last three visits? I believe they just wanted to make it difficult for me to use a coupon with Chewy. What's too bad is that she could have offered me the discount, or just let me order through Chewy. I still would have purchased with them in the future as well. I was not treated right, and I do not believe they have my animal's best interests or health at heart. I moved on to another clinic.

Very rude technician/assistant. No PROFESSIONAL woman should make a 16 year old teenager cry. She said some rude and inconsiderate things. I hope no one is placed in the same situation I was in. I do have to say that vet was very understanding and considerate, so I must appreciate him for that. To the technician lady, do better.

I’ve had too many experiences here with such rude staff. The vet is very nice, but such rude technicians/receptionists. I can’t even ask questions about pain medication or antibiotics after they give me my receipt because the staff literally walks away instantly. They like to get very snippy and not inform you important things to do before your appointment. Lots of wasted time here.

Romeo had a severe ear infection that literally happened overnight...even though they had a tight/full schedule..they got him in. He felt horrible but was wagging his tail as soon as he saw his friend Dr. Carlisle. They were responsive and called to check on his progress...didn't make me feel like a bad parent....

Our pack of 4 leggers loves the 2 leggers at KAH. Every one of the providers and staff members treat our dogs like their own, they calm our fears as we worry over our babies, and listen to our concerns. Thanks, KAH!

I have vetted dogs for years. One with severe allergies. Most doctors referred me to a specialist. Not Dr. Carlisle. He was able to stabilize Lucky's allergy treatment to a tolerable level for Lucky and me. Dr. Carlisle is the best vet I have ever worked with!

We have been clients of Kenosha Animal Hospital for many years. The doctors and staff have taken excellent care of all of our cats and dogs, through sickness and health. They have been there for us in all of our needs and final journeys. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Kenosha Animal Hospital to anyone. KAH is the Best of Kenosha!

Dr. Carlisle and his staff are great caring people. Even with this COVID going on they still are able to go over everything my dog’s needed. Have been with them for 20 years. After any procedure they always call and check up to make sure everything is going well. A+

I been coming here for almost a year, the staff has a 0 miscommunication with me. They do the pricing over a phone, give me a price that is minimum and When they have done their work I get charge extra price for the visit. My pet is small and still they try to come out with she needs this and that having to charge me way over the price for the labs. I don't like this place I won't be bringing my dog here any more. Bad staff, bad people, bad way too bad communication!

My 18 month old cat Stevie has had more issues than we ever imagined dealing with (he’s worth it though)! Through bladder crystals, through an unexpected diagnosis of cardiomyopathy when he was nearly experiencing chf, Kenosha Animal Hospital has been a godsend. Dr. Carlisle has taken his time with our little guy and genuinely cares about making sure he’s as well as possible. I’m happy to report Stevie’s been doing quite well the last several months with the regimen of meds and foods we’ve worked out with Dr. C. We’re very grateful!

They diagnosed my dog with Pancreatitis and said she needed special diet. They told me they sold it at their Clinic. The first time I got the food it seem to be fine for her. The second time I ordered the food in mind you they never called me I had to call them, they gave me a different flavor. I wasted six cans out of the case because she did not want it. Long story short I called they refused to take back or even exchange the food.

Kenosha Animal Hospital collaborates with owners concerning the care of their animals - This is a very important factor for my family and I. Each and every interaction my family and I have had with KAH to date has been productive, pleasant, and professional. They handle our anxious dog with confidence and care. Lab results are reported promptly and follow up instructions/recommendations are concise and thorough. My family and I are immensely grateful for KAH - We truly couldn't be happier!

Dr.Carlisle and staff are the best around. 10 years ago I moved from Milwaukee and was referred by that vet to Dr.C. The team at Kenosha Animal Hospital is professional, timely, responsive and caring. The highest of recommendations.

Doctor William Carlisle is, by far, the most knowledgeable, caring vet we have ever had. He takes care of our elderly, health-challenged lab mix Bailey like he is his own pet. We're very grateful to have a vet this good .

Love Dr Carlisle! He is the only DVM I will trust with my tiny Pomeranians. My 8 wk old puppy at under 2 pounds broke her leg. Dr Carlisle contacted me after the emergency vet reached out to him. Having a second opinion in what the right treatment for my pup is made me feel not so pressured by the emergency clinic. Dr Carlisle did a surgical knee repair from a patellar injury in my older pom is holding up many years later. Excellent vet for tiny dogs.

I have used Kenosha Animal Hospital for long time and unfortunately through 2 dogs having to be put to sleep, they helped me that process very well and were caring of my fur babies. If I can bring myself to get another fur baby they will be my Vet. I am now with Kenosha Animal Hospital with dog number 3 and the pandemic. I was nervous as they now come to your car and bring your dog in without you.. But it went smoothly and Pickles was okay with our return visit for a booster.

Kenosha Animal Hospital is my pet's trusted source for all of her medical needs. I know that they will give her the best care and I get a great price. I couldn't ask for more than that!

They have made visiting their location very convenient during Covid. I was very impressed. They come out to the car to get your pet (wearing a mask) and bring them back as soon as they're done which did not take very long at all!

I called to ask if they do TPLO. Whoever answered the phone did not give her name, and when I asked about the procedure she wasn’t even listening I had to repeat myself and then gave me attitude because I then repeated myself slower (not disrespectfully or mockingly) she just said nope. Thanks guys real animal lovers here no recommendations etc didn’t even ask what was going on. They really don’t care.

My experience is always the best at KAH. Dr. Carlisle cares for my fur family as if they were his own. He's extended the life of my 21yr old cat, but always ensures she's still happy and has a great quality of life. Nala was diagnosed with CKD years almost three years ago. We follow the treatment plan exactly (not always easy) and her kidneys have not deteriorated further. He also handles the painful time of putting down a pet with the most compassion and grace. I'm forever grateful for how he handled Ramsey's long term treatment and the tough decision on when to end it. I moved and hour and a half away two years ago, but still will only take Nala to Dr. Carlisle. My dog Rayna may get a routine visit locally at times, but for anything important I make the trip to KAH.

I wouldn't trust the health of my animals to any one else, as they have great vets and a wonderful relationship with the local vet emergency room in Racine, which is great, too.

As a new comer to the area it's always hard to find excellent medical for one's pet's and Kenosha Animal Hospital has been outstanding.

Dr Shine was fabulous with my 8 year old dog. She ran test to find out what was going on with him and got us some answers and he is on the road to recovery. The staff is also so amazing they really are very caring there. I highly recommend kenosha animal hospital and their staff.
