We had to take our cat in who had never been to the vet. The staff was very helpful and took time to answer any questions we had. It’ll certainly be our go to vet for anything in the future.

My wife and I have been customers at Companion Animal Hospital since 2017. If you are looking for a vet and a team who truly care about your pet and are extremely competent, look no further. They are as personable as they are professional.

Great staff and facility! Staff are responsive to queries. We appreciate it a lot that they reply to us in a timely manner with regards to our pet's health and well-being. Also, for those who are not aware, Companion offers 10% military discount.

As I went into the building I was immediately welcomed and assisted I came in as an emergency visit and the staff was amazing. The were comforting kept calm to help keep you calm offered you a beverage and held your animal as if you would. Reasonable pricing! Highly recommended

I’ve moved around a lot and have 4 dogs and 2 horses, so I’ve interacted with many different vets. The staff here is always very friendly and knowledgeable. They are always upfront about cost of any procedure and medication so they aren’t handing me an insane surprise bill. REALLY appreciate that. I feel Dr. Kilkov is very honest and polite about addressing health concerns. The hours are good, I appreciate that they are open later on certain days so I can make appointments for after work. I like bringing my dogs here and they love going!

Simply the best veterinarians, nurses, and staff in Kenosha and the surrounding areas. Super responsive and caring to my dog's needs, and always friendly and willing to be patient to answer all of my questions. They've been extraordinary in their practices during the pandemic, but I've been going to them for years prior, and they've always been this way, so it's no surprise. Would highly recommend them for all the paws in your family.

They make my pets and me feel like a part of their extended vet family. They know what they're doing, they take the time to listen, and you can just tell that everyone who works there loves what they do and their job. Dr. Rothman is an amazing veterinarian too!!

I am new to the area and had to make unfortunate decision to put my dog to rest due to age and failing health. I called several in the area to get information and pricing options. From each phone call this particular place truly treated me with compassion and spoke compassionately. The other places seemed matter of fact about the process. Upon arrival we were greeted and placed in a very nice, quiet, dim room with blanket on floor and greeted timely. We were told what to expect and given as much time as we needed without feeling pressured. The doctor and nurse got right down on floor and met our babygirl and comforted her and pet her. They truly made us feel cared about and not rushed.

Always takes the greatest care and gives quick appointment options! Tried many vets won’t ever change !

My wife and I just moved to Kenosha and our little eight pound chihuahua decided to get sick. Companion was recommended to us by a relative. We are so pleased with the quality of care our dog received. These folks are the real deal. Your pets will receive prompt and fairly priced care.

Our sassy cat Jadie Bug was not happy to discover her stroller ride today was to the vet's office for her yearly checkup and vaccines???? However, thanks to Companion's fear-free methods and Dr. Kalkhof's gentle ways, she did not growl, scream or grumble at all which is amazing for Jadie Bug. She was quite the lil lovey girl when we got home too which is unusual for our little sassy panther????‍⬛ Thanks for doing such a great job to calm our wild girl. This was our best visit yet with her! You guys are awesome!

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with companion. Our dog had a lump on his head so we brought him and they did a needle aspiration. The results came back that it was something sinus related so they gave him meds and said to call if it doesn't go away. (That was around $300) so it didn't go away so another appointment was scheduled. This time they did a culture and charged us another $300. They told my husband it might be cancer. my husband was shocked because on the phone they told me it wasn't cancer. They told my husband that me and him have to communicate better. Meanwhile we still don't have answers. Our dog got progressively worse after that appointment with bloody noses so I called and they said he would need to come in for another appointment for the new condition. I said this is not a new condition this is the same thing, just got worse since he saw you last night. Needless to say we were done with companion and took him to a new vet. They took imaging and told us it's most definitely a tumor and most likely cancerous. They charged us $240 for that emergency appointment and we got answers finally! They referred us to the oncologist for more information. Moral of the story save your money and go someplace else!

The vet that my cat had was very informative. Sensitive to my love for my cat and had answers to all my questions.

From the moment you enter the clinic everyone greets you and all are very friendly. The clinic is very clean and kept sanitized. Dr. Kalkhof is very attentive, friendly and professional. Due to a recent move from Illinois, I’m happy I joined the clinic.

First time going. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was very polite and professional. At the visit, they were timely and the people I handed my cat off to were nice. They were very upfront about the cost. Vet was professional and reassuring when we brought our cat in. Definitely a good experience! Will be going back.

The staff and Dr's. are THE BEST! So caring and compassionate. They do their best to get to know not only your pet, but your whole family. They want only what's best for your pet. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Bad choice for animal care in Kenosha! This location is only doing curbside right now so I had to drop off my dog and wait. The appointment was at 9am, a staff member took my dog from me at 9:15am, then she told me the appointment that should take 20 minutes and the initial cost ( she said it would be $80 something plus whatever medication) then she asked for cc info. I realized I didn’t have my purse. I had to run back home to grab my wallet and was back by 9:30am! I then sat in the parking lot for 45 minutes, (any of the staff going in and out would have saw my vehicle sitting there in front of the double doors!) Around 10:15 I thought it was very odd the appointment was not concluded so called to ask if my dog was done with his appointment. At this point they proceeded to try and change me a "hospital stay" charge because they left me one message at 9:32am that my dog was ready for pickup and I did not receive the message until 10:15 I got my dog back by 10:30 am, after arguing for 15 minutes that I refuse to pay the absolute absurd “ hospital stay charge, it was 30/45 minutes people and an honest mistake! I was appalled that I even had to ask more than once for them to waive the fee, since our first time visit and there was obviously a misunderstanding. They tried to charge me $180 for a mild ear infection in one ear, no medication sent home, and a hospital stay for sitting in the parking lot and missing their call . Seriously companion, I was considering switching both my dogs Veterinary needs to your establishment. But after that terrible experience today I will use Kenosha Animal Hospital down the road! Horrible customer service, I would not recommend. Plenty of vets in Kenosha that are not out to Nickle and dime their patrons!!! Like another google review said last week avoid this place like the plague!

This my second German Shepherd that I'm taking to Companion. The staff is awesome and the vets are great, especially Dr Rau. She is always willing to take her time to explain things to you. I would recommend this vet and staff to all

I'm absolutely astounded by the poor incompetant service provided here. We waited a month to get an appointment here after receiving a recommendation to this place. We arrived on time to the appointment and were told that the vet did not have time to see us, they attempted to send us away but after pressure did see our dog. They confused our dog with another dog to start and then once that was sorted out they finally completed the exam and wrote a prescription for the heart worm medication. We asked that they send in the prescription and also give us a paper copy just in case since we didn't trust they would send it. Costco called and said that they never received the prescription from them, when they followed up the clinic said it was denied because they never gave our dog an exam despite the fact that we paid for an exam and that was the entire reason we brought our dog in. If you love your dog I would avoid this place like the plague.

They are so wonderful and caring! Answered all my crazy pet parent questions. Treated both my puppy and myself with respect and love. Best experience ever and trust them 100% with her care!

Took our new pup here for a checkup. Shots and boosters were scheduled. They also found a hurnia that went undicovered by the shelter we got our pup from. Great service, and they were resonsive.

What's the point of having animal hospitals if they're going to force us to an expensive surgery or just have us put our dog down? Like y'all don't even offer payments to help out family's which is absolutely outrageous. My dog only has an infection which is only problem wrong with her and I'm going to paying over $2000 to remove that infection.. Employees act as if everyone is made out of money.. I just want better service to the community and offer payments to family's that wouldn't even think twice about saving their pet. Their all about the money!!! It's just sad... I have nothing against them but I'm not willing to put another of my dogs down just because of the price of the surgery!...

I have been going to them even before they have the new name...At least 15 years. I wouldn't bring any of my fuzz babies anywhere else...I have complete trust in them. Everyone one is great..with both myself and my pet....have patience, great communication, thoughtful...Doctor Juleen is the best!!!!...Diane Maranger
