I wanted to laud and applaud your employee supervising the puppies today (Jan 20th, 2022) @ 11:30 AM – on. She is a SUPERSTAR! She is so engaged with each dog; picking them up and loving on them individually. So engaged that she is even “removing eye buggers”. I am so pleased by what I am seeing today. She is playing with them, loving them, and highly engaging them. This is what a doggie parent likes to see. Thank you so much for doing such an awesome and attentive job! Took our dog here for an evaluation, which happened at 7AM on a dark, stormy day. Our dog was agitated going in by the early hour, high winds, and unfamiliar location. The staff spent five minutes with her and rejected her, saying she was not socialized enough and to take her to a dog park—which is strange because we take her to the park at PETS several times a week with no behavior problems at all. The staff seemed disinterested in getting to know our dog; they said she rejected contact with another dog and behaved appropriately, yet rejected her from being allowed in anyway. I think the staff should put forth more effort in assessing each dog before making their decision, five minutes is not enough time to accurately gauge a dog's behavior. EDIT: The contention that I am reviewing the wrong facility is incorrect. I know precisely where my wife and I brought our dog and what transpired, including the suggestion of taking the dog to a park. This attempt to deflect responsibility further reinforces my belief that the staff at this business are unprofessional.

I have had mixed experiences here. We first brought our dog almost 2 years ago, he passed assessment with flying colors and went once every few or so when we could afford it without issue. We even brought our new puppy there and she passed their assessment too without issue. Both dogs went through training there (puppy classes for the little one and obedience 1 for the adult) and both dogs did well there. My adult dog gets over excited initially and needs a little extra time to to settle and decompress before starting play and it was my understanding that they also knew this because he had been there for both daycare and training. Fast forward to a few months were i could not take the dogs regularly. When I went to schedule them for daycare they let me know they would need to be fully reassessed, which I was completely ok with because it had been a little bit. That morning i brought them in they took both dogs in back and came back with my adult male 5 minutes later saying he greeted the assessment dog in "not a nice way" and that he failed his assessment and couldn't stay. They did not explain what he did further and I was shocked because it happened so quick I don't believe he had the time to really take in what was happening around him without freaking out. They have seen in the past that he was a dog with reactivity but not aggression and i feel that they didn't give him the extra time he needed to set him up for success. I have since then discussed this with a different dog trainer that worked with my dogs one on one. I have also found a new daycare that took the time to understand my dog's quirks and are well equipped to help Ollie get through his initial excitement. The new daycare takes the time to also tell me just how both dogs do each time they go to daycare for the day. They saw passed his initial reactivity, ask if there is something they should work on based on my trainer's recommendations, and they tell me he honestly does so much better in group play and does not give them an issues. I wish this business the best but I was disappointed in the care I received after taking my dogs there in the past. I understand that the business takes in more and more dogs, hopefully there are more notes being taken to remind the workers of certain issues or quirks of each dog to prevent this in the future with a dog that actually does like daycare and does well with a little patience like it happened with my dog.

I love this place! My dog is a bit anxious when it comes to new places and faces. I received calls of updates when my dog was getting a little nervous and they helped my dog get comfortable with the newness. I will 10/10 recommend!

I don’t know were to start…. I have a beagle Chihuahua mix, he slipped a disc in his back a couple years ago. He does not have full fiction of his back legs. I wanted him to be socialized with other dogs and Bark Away was outstanding with my dog! They have cameras to were I can watch my pup and they also take daily pictures which is amazing! The employees are so respectful and kind. Max cries with excitement whenever we get into the parking lot and is always so tired afterwards. I recommend Bark Away to all dog owners!

I couldn't rave more about this place! The owner and staff are some of the friendliest and I trust them whole heartedly with my little pup. My little Pug Fiona has the very best time while there. I love the live videos you can see and watch and all of the social media videos they post. It gives me ease knowing she's having a great time! When I mention "school" to her she immediately gets crazy and so excited to go! We are so thankful for them. They have watched her for me for a week as well and it left me at such ease knowing she'd be so well cared for. We also get her groomed there and that process is so easy as she can be groomed while at school. No extra appointments. I HIGHLY suggest this place for many reasons but mainly, staff, knowledge & their amazing facility!

Where do I begin… I love how welcoming and friendly their whole staff is. The owner is especially helpful when answering any questions or concerns that I may have. My dog Jax was 4 months old when he started going there in march. He absolutely loves Bark Away! When we pull into the parking lot he cries and barks with excitement. He is always greeted with open arms by his favorite person, Jenn. The bond that he has with Jenn just shows you that your dog will be truly treated like family. When I have to travel and leave Jax behind, I love that I don’t have to worry about him. I don’t trust many people to watch my dogs but I trust Bark Away completely. I know that when I pick him up he is happy and has been well taken care of. So I can say open heartily, if you’re considering a doggie daycare this place is truly the BEST!

Just picked up our dogs from their vacation at Bark Away, while we were on vacation. They treat our dogs so well at Bark Away they love going there.

I bought a 10 visit package about 6 months ago , I have not been able to get my dog in there for the time cause they are always full now I want my money back because I've not been able to get my dog in for the services I already paid for 5 months now that's over 300 dollars, they will not give my money back Horrible business

Our pup is so excited to see the folks at Bark Away. She loves her day there and sleeps the entire next day.

Bark Away Doggie Daycare has been amazing so far! I've taken my 8 month old golden retriever Nellie about 3 - 4 times now. The staff is so organized and professional. The website is really helpful to schedule days and services. The webcam is so much fun to check in once in a while. I would highly recommend Bark Away!

My dog loves going there. It helps her burn off some energy and she has become very social with other dogs. The staff is amazing and caring and attentive. I love this place!!!

Love Barkaway! My guy Ted is loved at daycare and loves his days there with all his friends! The entire facility is extremely clean, full of fun, the web cams are great, and the entire staff is dedicated to our 4 legged kids..thank you! 5 Stars!

Our dog, Suzy Q, loves attending Bark Away! She has a blast running and playing with the other dogs and she is so tired after even a half day! On her first day, she was a little nervous but the staff cared for her so sweetly and made sure she got comfortable. It's great to watch her on the cameras and the photos are amazing! Would (and often do) recommend Bark Away!

My dog has been here three times / first time was great / second time they were told to do the exact same treatment as the first which they have in the computer // they did half the treatment had to bring him back to finish because they were ‘unaware ‘ // third time was scheduled out two weeks because they had no openings// no big deal - until we dropped him off and were called a half hour later saying come pick him up they couldn’t even give him a bath cuz he’s not current on his shots - bordatella being one of them - I don’t board my dog and he is 11+ so I’m not comfortable with most shots at his age - again the only big deal was they had 2 weeks to call my vet (like they did) and he was not current the other two times he was there and never mentioned it. - pretty disorganized

I have been looking for a daycare I could trust to leave my 2 year old crazy husky, Skylar, at and after many failed attempts with different facilities, Bark Away was clearly the best option around! They have been extremely responsive and helpful during this whole process. I was concerned with leaving her with new people since she has always been very scared of new people but Bark Away took that challenge head on. After the first day, Skylar clearly showed she trusted the staff! I love that they get to play both inside and outside and that the outside portion has turf fields! The facility is beautiful and kept very clean. I am so happy I found this daycare and found a way to socialize my girl during the winter when we can't make it to the dog parks or lake!

Oliver LOVES going, he pulls his leash every time trying to get in and go play. We are able to get him groomed while he's there and they do a fantastic job. The people are kind, loving and truly treat your pet like family! I am happy there is a webcam so we can watch during the day. They post every day so you can see your pup in action. I'm so grateful we have found Bark Away.

My lab Tinsley LOVES Bark Away. The staff are warm and they care about your baby. They also do training classes and Colleen was a miracle with my puppy.

Great place to bring your fur baby! We have LOVED Bark Away since we started sending our girl in January. She is so well cared for. The staff is well trained, they communicate well, and you can tell they genuinely love and care for all of the dogs in their care. Prior to Bark Away, we had a bad experience at another establishment where our girl got hurt, so to say we were hesitant would probably be an understatement but from the very beginning we felt an incredible amount of safety and comfort sending her to Bark Away. Never once did they promise she wouldn't get hurt (because no one can they ARE dogs running and playing), but we knew from the very start this place was different and they have beyond proven that they put the safety of the dogs and staff at the top of their priority list. She comes home happy and exhausted every time! The facility is always clean and they have adjusted to the new "normal" of Covid-19 carefully and safely! Would recommend Bark Away 150% to anyone looking for a fun, safe place for their dog to enjoy!

Bark Away has been awesome for my dog, Ruby! She is an anxiety prone dog and Bark Away goes to great lengths to make sure she is safe and happy. She is an energetic dog and comes home exhausted and sleeps all night after a full day of daycare! I will continue to bring her for daycare and have will have no problem leaving her overnight when I go on vacation in a couple months. Thanks for being so great, Bark Away!

Took our dog here to get groomed- it wasn't their groomer because they didn't have one at time but the young woman who took care of our dog did a great job. He will randomly have a seizure and pee himself so his hair gets matted. Plus he's a mixed breed with hair and fur so he was a hot mess! Felt and smelled great when they got done. Very apologetic for the length of time it took but I didn't mind because I knew he was going to need some work. Friendly staff, highly recommend!!!

This daycare is wonderful. I love they have kennels and give my dogs special attention. They have even observed my doodle isn't as timid when she is with my other dog. They will be attending together in the future.

My Goldendoodle has been attending Bark Away Doggie Day Care since their opening day. I was so excited for her to start. I am probably a “helicopter” dog mom lol! I absolutely love the day care facility. She is a medium size dog, and I really enjoy the inside & outside facilities because she has plenty of space to roam, run & have fun. I love that they always post pictures on both Facebook & Instagram daily. I really enjoy seeing all the pictures of all the dogs. All the dogs look like they are having a great time! The staff there is also fantastic and super friendly & accommodating. They love your dog just like their own! Fantastic customer service and fantastic with the dogs. Would highly recommend! Congratulations Bark Away!
