Im a new puppy owner. 2 weeks ago, I've call to setup an appointment, they've said that will be 1 month before can get in. That's fine. They've asked to pay right away before that appointment. That's fine. Just got called from them today, a lady called me said she doesn't know why she has to call, said she'd calls because the computer ask her to call????????. Then she wants to reschedule my appointment because she doesn't know what going on????. I called to made appointment somewhere else and they're take us in right away next day. I'm a business owner in Eau Claire, I will make sure everyone knows about your nonsense clinic

Service level has cratered. Have staff telling me different things at same appt. Can't weigh a dog properly. They have been great in the past, but will look elsewhere at this point.

I went to the Eau Claire Animal Hospital before it made its move to the new location, where it is today. From approximately 2001 to 2005 I took my first cat Jaggy there for regular appointments and when he needed to be put down humanely. I waited until Sept 2014 to adopt another cat, Frankie. I lived in Dodgeville at the time, but the following year when I returned, I went back to the Eau Claire Animal Hospital. I've had his yearly shots, nails trimmed twice, blood taken, teeth pulled (one was badly fractured in the front), boarding for a week, and through it all I have been 100% satisfied with their service. During the boarding time I called to check on him while out of state and they went into the room and actually looked in on him :) They spend quality time with your pet and explain what they are doing clearly. I always feel confident when I go to them with Frankie as I know he will receive the best treatment and care, as will I. Biggest thank you to them for taking care of Frankie and I!! Update: I have been living in AZ for 4yrs now. I adopted a two month old kitten from the landlord, yay!! The newborns were caught in the swimming pool pipe area and were soaking wet. She (landlord) had been bottle feeding the two that had survived but has two dogs already. I named her Ofelia, very white to start out with and she kept those awesome blue eyes :) My camera died so I only have older pics. Frankie is doing great, he needed motivation to move around haha, he was getting lazy. He stayed on table tops at first but once she could jump that high it was a whole new ballgame ;) Thank you again for taking care of my Frankie, I only wish I could locate an Animal Hospital here in AZ like yours <3

Eau Claire Animal Hospital staff are always so friendly and professional. The facilities are always clean looking and smelling. The services and boarding fees are transparent and affordable. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!

I would like to thank Dr. MacKenzie Jeffers and her staff for the final preparations of my dog. Her compassion and real caring was second to none. I would highly recommend.

Amazing place to go for a quick appt! Vets were fast and thorough and got me in right away when my puppy got sick (and even let me come back with a check later in the day to pay). I used to go to Northside, which I have always loved, but after this last appt I will definitely be taking my dogs here from now on. Not to mention for it being an emergency visit it was surprisingly cheap! 5/5 stars.

Great experience they are not my regular vet and were busy but were able to make time for my dog and fit him in a emergency situation. The vet spent time with me and asked many questions and also spent time alone with my dog so he could make his own assessment. I will be making the next appointment for my dogs at Eau Claire animal hospital.

Appt was on time, thorough explanation of visit. Very friendly and courteous staff.

They just sent me a letter “terminating our relationship” essentially because I had complaints about them. So rather than improve, they’d rather get rid of clients. Nice. The practice owner’s name is Jayne Munkwitz... ...The practice essentially held my dog hostage in the building when I went to pick her up. I understand that with covid people need to wait outside, but they would not even let me dispute the bill or discuss it. They were very short and irritated to even talk to me about payment plans when the price was double what was quoted. Eventually I just paid as my dog was crying and pacing on the other side of the window while I waited powerlesss in the freezing cold... ...Further, the doctor prescribed medication for a heart murmur and then went part time the next day! They had no refills on the meds and despite numerous calls would not respond to me. Eventually I got a different doctor to fill the prescription but again wouldn’t do refills as she was “not the one who originally filled the prescription”. I am still yet to hear back regarding long term solutions and refills for her diagnosis and just got this in the mail instead... ...NEEDLESS TO SAY, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Again, her name is Jayne Munkwitz. BE WARNED.

They do not listen to owners and that is a major issue. My pet was diagnosed with something incorrectly. I got a second opinion because I knew they were wrong. I lost time and money because they just didn't listen to my concerns. They didn't offer anything to keep my pet alive for a bit longer. The second opinion gave me things even to just prolong her life for a short time. When I told them the other vet got a different test result their answer was to use my cat a pin cushion to test were their test went wrong. When I brought her back they hurt her drawing blood giving her less time. All my complaints stem on they do not care about sick animals once THEY think the animal is a loss cause they stop helping and have bad communication with returning calls and reception desk. Very sad at the treatment we received

Terrific in and out appointment

Don't go to Eau Claire Animal Hospital, they kept changing my pet appointments and are so pricey. My husband was told an appt was available and I called 10 minutes later and said no surgeries were available at all that day. That happened twice. I'm a first time puppy owner and was concerned about various things. The receptionists kept telling me different things whether it's a valid concern and he should be seen and/or it's nothing. Didn't even check with a vet or get back to me. It was very frustrating so I had no idea what to think. Also I got an estimate for my dog's neuter appt and it RANGED from 365 to 586?! I would have liked this estimate broken down and explained to me and wanted to anticipate a more expected charge... They have a very friendly staff, so I appreciated that. I went there for 8 years with all 3 of my pets (2 cats and 1 dog) and finally asked to be transferred to Oakwood Hills. They didn't even ask why or try to keep me as a customer. No effort for customer retention whatsoever. Looking forward to better customer service and communication for the price you pay. NOT happy with EC Animal Hospital. ????????????
