Dr McDougall is wonderful. She goes the extra distance that so many other vets do not. She contacts other specialists to discuss complex cases and issues that she has not previously dealt a lot. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Facilities are clean and smell clean (no unpleasant pet smells). This is a smaller vet clinic that has within the last few years combined with Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital, though they are a separate facility. I have actually decided to switch my dogs over to Kindness rather than continuing to drive to Oakwood because of Dr McDougall. She listens to the owners' thoughts and experiences with prior pets with what appears to be the same illness. She takes those into consideration and offers her opinion and goes from there. She is very willing to work with owners to accommodate the best needs of the pets. I highly recommend Kindness Animal Hospital.

Had a emergency with my fur baby. They were able to get us in right away. The doctor and staff are so friendly and helpful. Very precise and thorough and genuinely carry.Not expensive and they follow up on treatments and very open to answer all concerns. 2021 Update: My male cat had broke his leg & I was instructed to follow up with our primary vet after he was released from emergency care vet (horrible techs at Oakwood) Followed up as instructed, due to covid we were not allowed in the office. An hour passed & we receive a call asking for additional xrays. We approved of the xray as we were put under the impression it was needed as part of the follow up & because he seemed to be in pain they wanted to keep him for observation. What we were NOT told was that our cat would be transported and kept at Oakwood Hills & that was a separate bill. Not only was the experience overwhelmingly frustrating sneaky & dishonest, but they also billed me for a service they did not provide to my cat as he was transported to a different location without consent. I would not recommend such a dishonest vet to care for anyone's animals when they are so willing to shuttle them off to another location to be harmed & held hostage by amateurs.

Have been going there for sometime. Had to put a dog down who was 7lbs. No price was discussed with me instead just that I could pay later. Many prices if I wanted testing to find a problem. He was elder. After speaking with people on social media and even doing a search for exactly what we had done, we paid about $200 over that. Not to mention when we had our last dog cremated, he came back in a beautiful box with a engraved plaque on it. Not this one! Had I known, I would have DEFINITELY went elsewhere.

I love the staff. They are the very best.

The dental care our Viszla received was amazing...she needed 2 broken molars removed. We were able to fit into a cancelation. The vets kept us informed during the surgery and after with info for future care. They answered every question and took the time to make sure our girl was healthy. I am looking forward to a great relationship between their vets and our two spoiled viszlas.

This place was amazing with my baby bearded dragon. They gave me a lot more information about bearded dragons. I'm so happy. He is in great health. Makes me feel good inside. To know that because of my husband and I he is thriving and growing strong. That's our baby Hades.

Dr. Margaret is the best! She is wonderful and kind in caring for my pets, offers helpful advice on behavioral issues, and really listens to me and my pets needs!! The technicians are also so great and friendly. Everyone seems to work so well together in a team at Kindness!!

This is the first time I took my male cockatiel Angel the kindness I've taken my other birds to them before and had very good luck I always thankful thankful for what they do to help my animals and they're close by

I can't say enough good things about Kindness Animal Hospital. Everything, from the time they pick up the phone until your visit is over is a great experience! My 13 year old Cairn Terrier has had multiple surgeries and exams with Dr Margaret and every time I have felt like my boy was in the most capable hands. Kind, caring, responsive, empathetic, reliable, professional, knowledgeable ... the list goes on. Highly recommend!!

Good experience here. The receptionist was very nice and thorough and wrote down what the vet needed to know about our sickly little hamster while we waited out in our vehicle. Then then the vet talked to me on the phone for as long as I needed to get all of my questions answered. I would definitely recommend this animal hospital for any pet!

Dr Margaret is awesome. We moved to Florida but waited for our trip here for our dogs surgery. Kindness has always been my choice. All the docs and staff are wonder.

They helped my puppy today. Very nice and were great with my puppy.

I have only been to this clinic a couple of times but every time I have been here, my pets and I have always been treated with kindness and respect. I wish I would have found them sooner!

Our dogs have been patients at Kindness Animal Hospital for 11 and 10 years now. Kane and Atlas both had their very first visits here as puppies and with the exception of a bout with Lyme’s disease, neither dog has ever seen anyone outside of Kindness and rarely anyone other than Dr. Arntson. Over the years, both Dr. Arntson and Shari have become family to us. We are always greeted over the phone and at the desk by Shari’s smiling, positive face and enthusiastic attitude. She’s always excited to see our boys and she’s is a top rate professional. We’re so thankful for her. Dr. Arntson has been a calm source of information over the years, always sharing his best professional opinion and helping guide us as we make decisions in regard to our pets care. He’s always understood our proactive approach in regard to caring for our pets, and we’ve always felt we are a team working together to give them the very best quality of life possible. Words can not ever repay Dr. Arntson, Shari, and Kindness Animal Hospital for the many years of professionalism, quality care, and compassion they’ve extended to us and our beloved pets. We are so incredibly grateful and can not recommend Kindness more highly.
