Our cat was having some hair pulling our issues and they didn't try to push charging us for more they looked at him ran some tests and were honest and friendly loved the place and the people!!!

On the 10th Anniversary of our wonderful Tiger Lilly passing, let me again note the extremely poor care she received at the end. Dr. Weaver would not listen to us when we said she had been know to eat ear plugs. They did not have the X-Ray equipment to check and NEVER suggested the Emergency Animal Hospital in Waukesha, why not? Monday after she was there a few days, they "sort" of mentioned maybe we should take there. You think? They actually suggested we euthanize her. Then mentioned the hospital. Well, we were out of there in a flash and guess what. An ear plug. She passed after the surgery due to aspirating the stomach build up through her lungs. A superficial card from the clinic. I took a document my wife, Nurse Practitoner, wrote outlining what had taken place and poor care. Dr. Weaver, without even reading the whole thing, came marching out telling me if we had a complaint take it to the State Veterinary Board. So, terrible care and then no compassion!

Great Vet- Dr. Wertz really loves your pet, and Amanda the vet tech is simply the best - your pet will not be afraid when they are with the best. Highly recommend. Blu, my dog was happy and wagging his tail the whole time, not a usual reaction for a Weimaraner at the vet!

Excellent Vet. There throw but if your Furbaby doesn't need it they don't try to up charge you. The vets and techs are awesome and so helpful. I have been to 4 or 5 vets over the years Bluemound Animal is the best.

I went in to bring my kitten for a normal check up, I’m 17 and was not aware to bring a parent with me as I am the primary caregiver for the kitten and make his appointments and so on. They explained to me how you need a parent with for future appointments, which was completely fine and understandable but what the ladies at the front desk don’t know is you can hear them talking bad about you through the doors of the rooms. As I was sitting in the room for a long amount of time I could hear the front ladies specifically talking about me referring to me as “little girl” and how I “don’t know anything” and much more then that. When the doctor did come in to check on my kitten he was very short and in there for maybe 5 minutes and rushed out to get my recite for the appointment. What I do know is that they forgot about my appointment, my kitten started to roam around the room and I went to pick him up and I could hear one of the ladies in the front say “Hey that little girl is still in room one” … not happy. The doctor was checking on other’s appointments as I came early and then sat waiting for someone to come in for 45 minutes. My family has used this animal hospital for 30+ years all animals we’ve had has gone here, and well looks like my kitten will be the last that this clinic will see. Terrible experience.

We have been coming to this office for well over a decade for 4 animals. I understand that staffing has been hard, but apparently they are not staffed enough to provide any type of urgent care should something arise. Receptionist was very rude and despite the web pages promise to refer to someone we were not provided anyone as a recommendation. We've decided that it's time for a new vet. We requested the medical records and received no response. We ended up having to call again. We received an email but nothing attached. We had to reach out again and finally got it. I found it very tacky that they included notes on the call that transpired that included notes that they apoglized which I can promise did not happen at all. So sad to leave Dr Wertz as he was the best.. but unfortunately they need to get more help and perhaps work on how to handle customer relations, especially when that customer is feeling stressed about the health of their fur baby.

They took excellent care of my cat Rex. He has Inflammatory Bowels I wouldn't take him anywhere else. I believe this is best place to take your pets. The veterinarians are excellent, knowledgeable and caring. Everyone who works is helpful and kind. They know how much you love your pets.

The staff was super friendly and good with my kitten. Things were explained to me and I was given options not pushed to do things. Very happy!

I was in real need of a veterinarian that saw turtles. I called Bluemound Animal hospital and they were able to get me in quickly. The people there are very nice. They got me into a room right away. The nurse and doctor came in shortly after. The doctor was very friendly. He examined my turtle and gave me the medication my turtle needed. I called the vet to let them know that my turtle didn't seem to be getting any better after awhile of giving him the medicine. They changed his medicine right away. My turtle doesn't care for the medicine, but he is taking it and has started eating shortly after starting this medicine. Now my turtle is feeling much better and is very active. Thank you so much Dr. John Wertz for helping my turtle.

I think you all did a very good job here and I can't think of anything that could have made my experience any better. You all were very kind and helpful right away from the moment I walked in the door. I will be returning with Squirt, if needed. Thank you so much.

I have been visiting this vet clinic for almost 20 years and have used most of the vets at one time or another when Dr Bitter wasn’t available. Their care is EXCELLENT and what I appreciate the most is their communication and their promptness in getting back to me with any test results or questions. I recommend them highly!

They are all the above plus just nice people and very helpfull.

Dr. Krisp is wonderful, and the vet techs are extremely friendly and understanding. I appreciate everything you all do for my pup!

I have been using this veterinary clinic for years. Attentive, great customer service. Great at reminding you when things are due. All doctors are terrific, reasonable prices. Easy access. Lots of parking. Excellent and caring staff. I have never, ever had a bad experience there.

I love Bluemound Animal Hospital. I have been taking my fur babies there for almost 18 years. They are very professional and answer any questions I have. They also work with you and schedule. Absolutely trust them with all my animals!

I took my first dog to Dr. Wertz in 2002 and continue to see him at Bluemound Animal Hospital ever since then with all my dogs, currently on numbers 3 and 4. The staff has always been great with my dogs under good and bad circumstances. The communication is great every time! I recommend Dr. Wertz and the other doctors we've seen, Dr. Weaver and Dr. Bitter. My girls would recommend them too! :)

I would like to thank Dr.Wertz for giving excellent care to my chinchilla..Snows had a dental issue that needed to be looked at as soon as possible and their response in making the appointment was prompt! Dr.Wertz explained everything that he was going to do in detail. Thanks again for helping my chin!
