This clinic will take months to take care of basic needs. Appointments take several hours. The vet will require you to pay for things you don't need.

Horrible place, they don't respect your time or you as a customer, they try to up sale everything they can think of. Set an appointment then they make you wait outside in your car for 2 to 3 hours past your appointment time. This place is a joke. Find another vet who actually appreciates your business .

On I called on Sept 29th I called Spring Mills Vet to request vet records for proof our 2 fur babies have had all their vaccinations. I was told I had to speak with Dr. Smith because she does not give out complete records for proof of vaccinations. Dr. Smith informed me she would compile partial records and would have them available within a week. I called Oct 6th, not available; Oct 11th, not available, Oct 14th, not available; Oct 18th, not available. At this point I asked when they would be available. I was told there was nothing in the system to show I had requested the information. I explained to the woman who answered the phone I had spoken with Dr. Smith on Sept 29th and she was going to have the partial records available within a week. I asked when their records would be ready and she informed I would need to speak with Dr. Smith again and she would have Dr. Smith call me back. At this point point I informed the woman their complete lack of care and organization is ridiculous. The last time my pet needed a refill for one of his meds I called 2 weeks before we would be out and he still went without meds for almost a week. I continued to explain I now need complete records as I will be transferring my pets care to another vet, and I want them by Oct 20th. She told me if I continued to threaten them or use foul language, she would hang up on me. Never once did I threaten them or use foul language.

Yes, they are under-staffed, but, the man I met was VERY nice. I actually have a job offer here as a client care coordinator. And I will do my very best to help their clients.

Every visit is the same. You’re scheduled at a certain time and you are always seen an hour later. You are at the mercy of the Vet. because your pet has to be seen. Go somewhere different! It’s not worth it!

We had a scheduled appointment to have tests run on our cat. My wife dropped him off at 9am. No on from the office called us to give us updates. My wife called them at 3pm to get an update. At that point he still had not been seen. We called again at 7pm and they still did not have an update. We are now 12+ hours in to this situation and my wife jus left to go pick up our cat. They still have not completed the test they were supposed to complete earlier today. I would never ever ever ever ever ever ever take my pet to this place ever. Completely money hungry pieces of trash!

Don't care for Dr. Smith, she is extremely rude and makes you feel belittled. I took my puppy in for one shot and they make you pay for a whole exam. Every time I take my animals into her office she is constantly trying to up sell you different vaccines or flea/tick medication. They make you feel guilty for not buying the "prepaid fecal kit". Dr. Smith does not value her clients time. Due to Covid, she makes you wait in the parking lot for an hour and 45 minutes. Find another vet, there is no benefit in choosing this one: wastes your time, prices are not reasonable, I would like to see my vet face to face, don't feel like my animals should be an up sell for things they don't need. This is a bad veterinarian practice, take your money and time elsewhere, or you will be sorely disappointed.

Dr Smith has always given 100% to all her patients. Even through the long waits, she took her time to given a thorough exam, make sure she took the time to talk to all of her clients, and also allowed time for surgical patients needs. I worked here as well as been a client for many years. I will still continue to support her business.

Dr. Smith and her staff are amazing and kind people to work with. She helped us with our cats and was very thorough with their workups and continuing care. I highly recommend her practice for animal care to anyone.

I love Dr. Smith. She is wonderful with both of my dogs. My dogs never come in nervous. They see Doctor Smith and run to her. I'd recommend Dr. Smith to anyone.

I'm new to the area and wanted to find a good vet for my cats - I took them for a wellness checkup, which seemed fine except the appointments were at 10:45 and 11:30 (2 cats) and they didn't come to get them until a little after 11, which, okay, I am flexible knowing businesses can run behind a bit. No worries. But then I sat waiting for the zoom invite for a half hour before I called the front desk to see what was going on; it sounded like my cats were too stressed and the vet would give me a regular phone call when she was doing the exam. It was a long visit (we finally left at 12:30) and it just seemed communication is fairly bad from that experience. The next appointment I had scheduled was a dental visit for them about 5 weeks after the wellness visit. The vet tech said I'd get an email with the dental estimate "within a few days" after the wellness exams. A week goes by, so I call just to make sure they have the correct email address on file and I didn't miss it. The tech says she was out a few days but would get to it by Monday morning. I'm cool with that. But by the following Friday, when I still haven't gotten the estimate, I called again. When I waited 3.5 weeks and still haven't gotten an estimate, I decided to put off the dentals. My previous vet gave me estimates the same day as the wellness visit, so I don't understand how 'individualized' a dental estimate can possibly be, but if it also means you're 3 weeks over the timeline you gave me for expecting an email from you, you must be way too busy at that clinic to properly care for my cats. Next year I'll take them somewhere else. One positive is that every staff member I spoke with was always very nice, so I didn't have issues there. Only with the communication breakdown. (I also heeded previous customer reviews and previous employee reviews about the practice when considering the decision to cancel the dentals).

They moved my appointment because of short staffing, then put me on a day with short staff... I was hoping this would be a good replacement for where I previously took my cats since I moved. They took 30 minutes just to scan my drivers license, they got the information wrong for my cats, then I sat in my car for another hour and a half with no notice. All for a couple shots and for them to listen to one cats breathing. Will not be coming back. I don't trust their staff bringing me in. Edit: just read the previous reviews. Honestly, the vet was fine. I think the issue is the front desk staff. I think Angie is a huge issue, if all the recent 1 star reviews are about her. Whether it is how slow she is or how unprofessional she is. They need to get rid of her.

I started taking my 5 dogs to this vet 3 years ago and was very happy with it. The Vet is great, although I think they try to up-sell you quite a bit, but most vets do. The Vet techs are totally awesome. However due to multiple recent negative UNPROFESSIONAL experiences with the newer receptionist (Angie) there (including being hung up on and left waiting for 45 min while they failed to check me in with zero apology or ownership of mistakes or delays) I have to change my review from 4 stars to 1 star. This practice can thank Angie for the loss of my business. Customer service goes a long way, especially when you are spending thousands of dollars.

After being clients for almost 2+ years, I called in today to cancel a grooming appointment and to let them we would be switching vets. The receptionist (Angie) then proceeded to talk over me when I asked a question and hung up on me. I called back to ensure that the appointment had been indeed cancelled and she proceeded to be snarky saying “I did not hang up on you.” I have never been so furious with a company who acts so unprofessional after being with them for so long! It is absolutely disgusting to see how ONE certain person can run customers off. Do better and hire more professional people to answer your phones, Spring Mills Vet.

couldn’t recommend this place enough! The vet and staff was so patient with my dog and all of my concerns. They took their time to look over my dogs records and examine her to make sure everything was covered!!

I love this Vet! She treats her patients like they were her own pets. She was so caring with our dog who had cancer. Now with our new kitten she is still the same caring doc.

If I could give 0 stars I would! This is the WORSE clinic ever!! My first appointment I waited 2 1/2 for my French Bulldog puppy to be seen. She had a UTI and they did a fecal on her. I didn’t get a phone call so I assumed the fecal was negative. 3 1/2 weeks later I got a phone call saying her test results were positive for giardia. The office manager called me and said it was unacceptable but refused to do anything for me. I still had to pay $60 for medication a month later. I still have a sick dog. Medical malpractice at its finest. Don’t go here .

This place is wonderful! They treat our dogs so sweet and take such good care of them. They even let us participate in our dog's checkup through Zoom. Highly recommend Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital!

This was my dogs first visit, she can be shy and the staff were not only welcoming, but very sweet and patient. Dr. Smith and her staff were knowledgeable, kind and made every effort to make my pup comfortable, you could tell they all love animals and know how to care for them. We got a thorough exam and they answered all my questions. I would 100% recommend this practice to everyone and will be going there from now on!

With covid you can't go in. That's fine I call and check in. Made me wait over an hour and a half in the parking lot without contacting me. My wife calls to find out what's going on. I was told that they called us and we didn't answer which was BS. Even if you tried calling I'm in the parking lot. Come outside and inform me of what's going on. if it wasn't for my dog needing medical treatment I would have left.

I went for the first visit for my pup (I'm an experienced pet owner over 20 years and somewhat well-versed in breeding and training, to a degree) The vet-techs (assistants) tried to up-sell me on a fecal-sample kit, though they were already selling me wormer medication (even though they already had worming records from breeder that were up to date) They tried to up-sell me on pain meds because my pup had a few vaccinations. They tried to up-sell me on kennel cough /Bordatella vaccine without asking if I wanted or needed it along with the others. They warned me against a raw food diet for my dog, citing everything from salmonella to Chronic Wasting Disease. (really?) I informed we dispatch and process our own animals on our own farm. She actually asked if I would eat the deer raw.. I said I eat it medium rare.. does that count?!?! All that despite what's factual, that a raw diet shows dog's live longer, have healthier coats and teeth and generally better health There is a TON of evidence that Vet's don't typically recommend a raw diet because it goes against their "schooling". There is a TON of evidence that a male dog left in tact instead of neutered (which they DIDN'T push surprisingly) lives longer because they continue to produce the hormones that prevent certain cancers and joint degenerative diseases. To top it off, the recommended dog foods from this vet: Purina One Hills Science Diet Iams Royal Canin Do your research: You'll find none of these listed on any of the independent researchers top 10/20 list of good dog foods. They either have fillers, grains, preservatives, or are sold to companies that are allowed to re=formulate their recipe and cheapen ingredients. (ie: Sam's Club Iams isn't the same ingredient content as Iam's at Petco) They are all commercialized to the hilt. (It begs the question.. why does this vet recommend them in writing?) In any regard, though this vet had my head twisted around, me trying to understand and believe them as professional, I was ultimately left with the knowledge that I was another "sale". My visit was an hour and 1/2 in the parking lot due to covid, and $171 for shots and ear mites. My 11 week Rottweiler pup is exceptionally healthy; strong hips, shiny coat and good weight at 23.8 lbs. I have two appointments scheduled that I will cancel. I've been recommended to another vet I'll make the trip to. I wish this vet would consider broadening their scope. Reminds me of my child's pediatrician that once told me "we can only do what we're taught in med school, we can't advise you on anything holistic or otherwise because we can't speak intelligently about it".

Extremely unprofessional. Have been a client for over 4 years, and I no longer have trust that they will properly care for my furbabies. This is sad, I used to recommend them, but never again. Even the Vet herself was unprofessional and rude to me. All that needed said was "we apologize for the misunderstanding" but instead a tech and the vet openly called my husband a liar. They then threaten to hold my dog until I pay, when I had no proof anything was done with my dog. I didnt recieve a phone call on speaker and never recieved my zoom meeting email that I was told I would get. I'm extremely disappointed.

If I could give this practice a negative star they would get it. They don't follow up with anything. They check your pet take your money and then blow you off on procedures they say needs to be done. And when you call them about it they lie to you. This practice should be shut down. They receptionist is very rude and a lier if you have this vet and Love your pet find another vet ASAP
