I love this woman!!! If you have a vet telling you to to put your pet down don't fall for it! she is In it to win it!!!! Your pet is the most important thing to her. I have the most respect for her. She will give it to you straight. …

Becky has saved our dog from surgery with her depth of knowledge, compassion, and home visits! She is good with both fur-babies and humans alike. Five million gold stars and a big huge "Thank you!" from Lucy! Woof!

Dr. Verna was very personable, understanding, and patient with my doggie! She made sure my baby was comfortable and well taken care of. She was having problems of when I touched her on her side she would yelp with pain. After her treatment she is all better and no longer having issues! Highly recommend!

She's amazing!! my dog was able to reach his 12th birthday because of Dr. Becky!! He's a little shih tzu who got paralysis in his hind legs..couldn't use the bathroom on his own and was days from being put down but she helped save my dog. We are seeing her 4-6 weeks to maintain and monitoring him daily. My little guy, Batman! He says hi to you all. Even accommodating when it came to double masking when I asked--living with a baby so she made me also feel comfortable.

Dr. Verna (Dr. Becky) earned our respect when she helped our elderly black Lab, Annie. Annie was a nervous wreck at vet visits until we started with Paws. It was clear that Annie was the center of attention at each visit. Unfortunately, our beloved dog passed over the rainbow bridge, but we are so appreciative that Dr. Becky loved her as we did, and that she was able to make her last couple of months better than we thought possible. If we ever get another dog, Dr. Becky will be our only choice for care.

I first met Dr. Verna years ago when my Lhasa Apso was suffering severe allergies and infections. While the little patient didn't want to comply with treatment, I never forgot the love and care she poured into him. Even though I decided to go a more traditional route for his allergies, the amount of knowledge I gained from her has no price. When he injured his knee a month ago and our vet suggested surgery, the first call I made was to Dr. Verna! Thanks to her healing hands, we avoided surgery and stopped the pain medications after the first visit. Today he is back to his normal self running, jumping, and playing. She is very patient and so much fun to be with during the appointments! Holistic treatments are not cheap, but the fact that we avoided anesthesia and more meds makes it totally worth it!

Came home to find my dog laying on her side and unable to get up. Called my local vet and got right in. They took X-rays and said that there was nothing obviously wrong/broken so she probably strained her back and needed rest and drugs. After two days with a little improvement I inquired about holistic therapy. Chiropractic or acupuncture? My vet's response was "YES, wonderful", but we don't have that here. So I went looking & asking. A friend recommended Dr. Verna @ Paws for Holistic Pet Care. I contacted her via Facebook. (she is very technology savy) Dr R Verna makes house calls but my dog loves to travel so I loaded her in the car and drove down. This is lovely office w/ a relaxed atmosphere. Very small shop and only has one animal in the building at a time to keep the stress levels down. If you are early, she asks that you wait in the comfort of your car so her current patient does not get distracted by the scent or sound of another person & animal. If you are looking for alternative methods to replace or augment your current veterinary care, please give Dr. Verna a call. :) - PS - you will probably have to leave a VM - it's a small office.
