The haircut is absolutely the worst. The cut is ragged and uneven. The chest area was shaved to her skin, why? I waited nearly 4 hours and didn’t get even a small apology. Never again, very disappointed.

Their pet cat was very friendly. The store has a cozy feel to it. A nice change from the pet superstores.

Fun little place. Great vibe. Very friendly and helpful staff. They have some cool fish that you don't often see. But the best part was the aquatic plants. A nice variety of beautiful specimens and a great price.

We stopped here on the way back from NC to pick some treats up for our dog. We were feeling dismayed since we really wanted to find a leather fox toy made by Tall Tales to give to our dog when we got home and we couldn't find it anywhere. We weren't expecting to find it at Lexington Pet Place either, and figured that we could at least pick up some treats so we didn't come home empty handed (we had been out of town for a few days and wanted to give our dog something special when we got home). But lo and behold, we found the exact toy that nobody else seemed to have! Our dog couldn't be happier.

A cute little store, to be sure, but the selection of products can sometimes leave you wanting. And for a fish guy such as myself, I'd love to see a bigger selection of fish and aquarium supplies. Overall, its okay though

I looked all over for a metal top for my aquarium since it has uncommon dimensions. Finally found it here, very reasonably priced and shipped many states away for FREE within a few days!! Couldn’t be happier with my purchase

Ordered a screen cover for my tank. It was laid inside of a broken down box, taped shut, and shipped. It arrived to my door practically bent in half. If I could bend it back I would but the sides are all flared out. I just don't understand why it couldn't be put in a normal box not just taped in something to throw a shipping label on. Totally unusable and destroyed. Really bummed out about this.

Their website guarantees delivery within 3 to 7 days. I contacted them a week later because my package hadn’t shipped yet. They said they would give me an update within 24 hours. The next day I received a message saying that my money had been refunded. I called them back and said I didn’t ask for a refund. They told me that the item I already purchased was no longer in stock. I said how can you be out if your website says there are six left. Their response was that they didn’t update their website regularly which means that they’re advertising products which may not be available and charging you before checking if the item is in stock. They failed to provide any information on my order. I waited 8 or 9 days before realizing I had to reach out to them. My suggestion is that you buy from someplace else. They’re not well organized and charged me before the item was shipped. I have to wait 3 to 7 days for a refund now. They should’ve at least compensated me for the time they kept me waiting. Waiting for something I never even received. Edit: They updated their website and changed the product to out of stock. Now they changed it back to in stock. This is the same day that they refunded me for not having it. I do not trust this seller what they’re doing is false advertisement and misleading to the customer.

I bought my bearded dragon here and I come here all the time to get food his food, and I can tell you that these people not only love their animals and take great care of them but they are smart and extremely knowledgeable of any animal they might have. The pet shop itself is great for a little town like this with gorgeous birds, reptiles, rabbits, kittens, and more. If you love animals and youre in Lexington for any reason you've gotta stop here!

Unlike most large pet stores, this shop takes great care of their animals! Every animal is in a nice, spaced enclosure and has lots of enrichment. Their prices are nice, and Ive been treated well by all of their staff.
