My Pit Bull is the biggest baby (despite his size) when it comes to cutting his nails; It’s impossible to do them at home and very stressful for us both. My husband called The Polished Pooch and we were able to do a walk-in for a nail trim. Carly and the girl from the desk were so sweet to my boy, very professional and efficient- Thank you both! We will definitely come back!!

They broke my dogs paw he was screaming and they said he came in that way....poor pup could not walk!! He held his own pawi n the air. Had to get Er visit to vet. Xray showed broken. They charged my credit card!!. Stay away.

They were pretty nice and did a good job with my pup. When I picked him up I noticed a spot on his elbows that I wanted touched up, and they happily took him back and tweaked it.

This was our first visit to the business with our adopted 6-year cat. She desperately needed a good trimming with many knots to be removed. They did a wonderful job....!!!! We will be returning customers-always.

This is our third groomer we have used on our Westie and Scottie. I won't mention the first two by name, but I will say that they started out fine, and then our dogs would shake when we got to each place after the first few visits. My Westie actually LOVES a nice bath, so for her to shake and try to pull away, was enough for me to know we wouldn't be going back. I heard about The Polished Pooch when we were walking our dogs in our neighborhood. Someone had just gotten their goldendoodle groomed, and she looked fantastic!! We took them there a few weeks ago and they did an outstanding job. Westies and Scotties have unique cuts due to their breed, and The Polished Pooch knew what they were doing. We will definitely be using them from now on. Their prices are very reasonable and our dogs looked awesome.

They always do such a great job with my yorkie. I live further away and still drive here because I’m so happy with the way they take care of her and the hair cut always looks perfect.

The staff in this establishment were very condescending and impatient. I was highly disappointed with the service that they gave me. Never going back to this place again.

Y’all treated my mom so condescending it’s not right. Y’all are the worst. She was late one time, even tried to call you guys (thats she was running late) and y’all ain’t even answer and when she came with my dog you couldn’t take her. It was actually y’all fault because y’all ain’t answer and the fact that y’all treated her so disrespectful that’s so u professional and disgusting. Y’all talked to my mom like she’s dumb and I know for sure you don’t like her because you don’t treat any of your other customers like this. Horrible customer service. If I could give you 0 stars I would. I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

We normally go to a place over in Bristow, VA but we gave Polished Pooch a try and did an amazing job on our goldendoddle Teddy! He was there for 3 x hours - got a great bath, grooming, and haircut - it was a great spa day for our boy! Great, great job! We highly recommend! It was also nice to keep the business in our town of Haymarket, VA! Bravo!

I have a 8 month old mini golden doodle. Teddy loves going to get his grooming! He always looks incredible when I pick him up and I get compliments on what an adorable cut he has. The staff is so nice and listens to what you want with your dogs cut. They are very loving there and your pup will have a great time getting pampered!

Our German Shepherd has anxiety and it’s been hard to find a groomer. The groomers here are fantastic! Lucy looks like a new dog, smells like a new dog and they were so sweet and hurried her through to make it easier on her! Thank you!!!

Couldn’t ask for a better place to board. The dogs get more play time than crate time, they get to swim during the summer, and upon request, will even bathe/clip toenails before sending them home! They are truly the best facility in this area and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my fur babies.

Lulu is a happy Yorkie when she visits the Polished Pooch. She is never shaking when we get there or when we pick her up. They truly know how to love the dogs they groom! Always a pleasant experience!

Grooming looks nice in our pet. He seems to fome home less sore than when we take him to other grooming places. It took about 3,5 hours since we dropped the pet until we got him back.

Just moved to area shopped around for close groomer. They did awonderful job excellent groomers my pooch is happy and so is wife. Highly recommended will be our new groomer for our Bichon

This is the best groomer I have ever taken my Whitey too! They are such a nice and pleasant staff and go above and beyond to put my pup at ease even down to home made dog treats!! :)
