Don’t know if they are understaffed or overbooked but they need to do better.

Once you get in the doctors and staff are fine and never had to wait long but getting scheduled is the issue. Either the online scheduler or the in store staff are not communicating or they keep giving away my spot but I am continually called to reschedule my appointment that I booked online weeks ago as the date approaches. How about don’t use an online system if it doesn’t work or make sure you check it before scheduling over people. An online system is useless if it causes me more work than it would be to just call. It is supposed to increase efficiency.

I really trust these doctors...Dr. Hurry is my favorite. They work you in if it's needed and they don't do unnecessary things to charge you more money.

Our family has benefitted from the Optimum Wellness Plan they offer. The plan is pricey, but great for covering our special needs puppy's health issues. Most of the staff is awesome. The app is very helpful.

The staff is very sweet and great with animals, was very pleased to have a vet knowledgeable with the feline herpes and willing to work with research I’ve done to try and curb my cats chronic flare ups. Only thing I would recommend is staff to not allow puppies under 16 weeks to walk on the ground, parvo is the leading killer in puppies and it was sad to see a woman who didn’t speak any English walking her fresh 8week old lab puppy around on the ground where sick dogs frequent.

Very helpful. Could have better prices though. That might just be because they're inside Petsmart though

Unfortunately this was the only place I could get an appointment for my lab. I found their prices to be expensive and bedside manner lacking. I tend to rate places as either McDonald's or Chick-fil-A...and Banfield is definitely McDonald's.

I brought in my cat for her first visit at this location since we moved to the area. My dog has come once and everything went well. I arrived at the appointment a few minutes early and per their current protocol, I called to check in over the phone and wait for them to come and get my cat from my vehicle curbside. After 20 minutes of sitting on hold, I hung up and called back only to be put on hold again. After a few more minutes someone finally answered to help me and when I stated I was here and had been waiting for some time on hold to check in my pet for her appointment that was 25 minutes past at this point, I was then placed on hold yet again! When she returned back on the line a moment later she stated that my appointment was at 12:30, the doctor came out at 12:40 and when she did not see my pet there she left for her lunch. The only option offered was to leave my cat and pick her up later after the Dr had returned from lunch and was able to do her checkup. This was completely unacceptable, I was there for my appointment on time, a few minutes early even. Because they had a system that failed to work properly upon check-in is not my problem but unfortunately I was the one that was inconvenienced. To top it off I was given an excuse that she was the only one at the front answering phones and had two other calls on hold. I made an actual appointment instead of a drop off because I live over half an hour away and therefore it is a little more involved for me to drop her off and have to come back and pick her up. This wasted over an hour and a half of my time between the travel and waiting on hold, and resulted in no exam being completed. Terrible customer service and complete disregard for my time!

I took my cat here with severe liver issue and possible infection after having another cat go through something similar. Dr. Cole told me my cat was too ill and likely had FIP (a fatal infection with no definitive test) all because there was no toxins in the home. She recommended that we put our baby down or go to a hospital to spend thousands of dollars for a POSSIBLE miracle (because she made that hospital believe also that it was FIP from her notes). Well, after going to Ark Animal Clinic and getting the PROPER care, we can now treat his infection of his liver at home with plenty of antibiotics and liver medications. He is also making much improvement since being seen by Banfield. If we listened to Banfield, our baby would no longer be with us over something that is treatable in an animal who has so much strength.

I called asking, “Do you guys take leopard geckos?” She said “Do we see them?” I said “yes.” And she hung up. I called back and it rang for ever and ever. Then once answer she said I’m going on hold and I had to wait again.

They are the best! My old girl Tessa, a Jack Russell was struggling with digging and scratching and was red all over. Looked like she was in a street fight. I took her in and two weeks later she is hopping aroundand back to trying to jump on anything that moves! Thank you Banfield!

My Fiance and I take both our cats, love the vets and the nurse here!! Very friendly and professional. So thankful we found this place because my oldest cat is not friendly and can get aggressive when he doesn't know people. But my cat did great here unlike his last vet in Gaithersburg that didn't know how to handle him.

Banfield is the best vet to go to. They are very nice and very helpful. If you have an emergency, they will see you that day, no delays. Always have time for your pets. I will not go anywhere else.
