My cat needed emergency care on a Saturday (cat fight bite=cellulitis) and they got him in immediately. The staff was friendly and professional. The doctor was knowledgeable and quick to make a diagnosis. I absolutely love my regular vet but they are closed on the weekends. Overall , it was an excellent experience! Thank you Glenkirk Animal Hospital! I would 100% go back...

Staff is very nice and caring, great with the pets. They were able to see my dog same-day for an urgent appt even though we were not an existing patient. Not too expensive.

I was getting tired of having to wait curbside while my dogs had their vet visit at VCA Happy Paws. It's frustrating that I can go to the Doctor or the hospital while wearing a mask but I cannot be with my fur babies at their doctor visit. I decided to switch to a more customer and patient friendly Vet. Glenkirk was able to fit us in right away and treated our pups with great care. If you are tired of being left out in the cold and having the VET call you to explain what happened, switch to Glenkirk. You and your pet can feel more at ease with each visit.

I had a limited time to have my pet vaccinated and chipped for travel to the EU. The vet and vet tech were helpful and knowledgeable. They were beyond fair in pricing and quick to assist with any questions or concerns I had. They care not only about your pet but also your peace of mind. And let me just say that they made the certificate process a breeze for me.

They were very kind and courteous.

After several years of our dog suffering of terrible allergies he was the first one to recommend the shots. Our dog has been doing so much better, she doesn't smell as bad any more and she is not constantly scratching herself (and i mean she was scratching herself every second of the day).

I have 2 dogs that have been here for care and I am absolutely impressed with the level of care!! The entire staff is amazing and extremely helpful. The veterinarian is so kind and informative about all areas I had concerns about. I have a puppy that’s only 5 months so I will be visiting frequently for care I totally trust this whole group. Best care around!!

My daughter and I took our pet to Glenkirk animal hospital. Dr. Naqi and his staff are compassionate, efficient, well mannered and all around great in providing care for my pet. After adopting my dog, I noticed that he had severe skin issues and was always sleeping. I previously had two doctors take a look at my dog and was given meds but the problems never resolved themselves. Within 15 minute of being seen by Dr.Naqi, he was suspecting hypothyroidism. He took the time to listen to my concerns and was very attentive. We ran full blood work that was sent to the lab in order to confirm this. The next day, Dr. Naqi gave me the call with the results and bingo! It was indeed hypothyroidism. I was really amazed at the skill and knowledge Dr.Naqi and his staff provided. My pet is doing a lot better and now has the energy to run around with the new meds he is on. Glenkirk Animal Hospital exceeded all my expectations and would recommend to anybody!

I have a German Shepherd and an Australian Shepherd, so based off of breed they can be a handful. Dr. Naqi and his staff handle and love on my dogs like they were their own! Dr. Naqi takes his time to make sure your questions or concerns are answered before you leave and the staff even called me the next day to follow up from the visit before, very personal and professional!

I was looking for a vet to provide comfort care of my 16 year old cat, Leo, with end stage renal failure. I am so thankful that I found Glenkirk Animal Hospital! Dr. Naqi and his staff are amazing! They saw Leo everyday for fluids and meds. They always accommodated my schedule. They tended to him with love and care and were so kind and caring to me as well. I was going through a really difficult time knowing that I was going to have to let Leo go and they were understanding and compassionate. They provided excellent care! They knew I was grieving and always made sure that they brought Jasper, their new clinic kitten, for me to hold and love. It was such a comfort. Unfortunately, last week Leo lost his battle and we had to let him go. Dr. Naqi and staff were professional and very caring and gentle with Leo and with us at the end. We had a private cremation and I just received a call letting me know that Leo was "ready to come home"...if we do decide to get another pet, we will definitely be returning to Glenkirk for his/her care... If you're looking for a vet hospital to care for your pet(s), Glenkirk Hospital is the place to go! And while you're there, be sure to ask to hold their precious clinic cat, Jasper :-).

Don't go here the doctor is very rude. They quoted me 2 different numbers for my visit(72 was the highest quote) then when I gave them authorization to charge me they charged me 126. When I asked why they said sorry they quoted the wrong number because the system wasn't updated, but they called me to tell me the price... I asked to speak with the doctor but he refused and refused to give even a partial refund for any of the difference. Awful customer service overall and I would not recommend anyone visits this place. Edit: the doctor couldn't have a simple conversation about the $54.95 vet visit, and/or offer a partial refund? You took my cat for maybe 2 minutes, then gave her back with medicine for me. quoting me a number from the rescues discount is automatically incorrect because I was never going to receive that discount if I was paying. There's no further questions. Dr. Naqi is a very rude vet and business owner simply for not being willing to come on the phone and talk to me himself and not understanding the situation even slightly. Shows he is already in a defensive state. If I could give you 0 stars I would.

My dog has really bad allergies and I couldn’t figure it out, she is a completely different dog once he saw her. He is great with her and makes her feel comfortable in the vet office. Love that they are open 7 days a week!!! Dr. Naqi went over an estimate for my dog before we did anything and he made sure I knew everything that was happening and that I was being charged for. Techs treated her like she was their own puppy and had the beat treats. She loves the vets office now!

Went in today.. Originally they said the bill was $53. Then they said $72. Then my significant other said okay, we will pay it and authorized it. I check the bank statement and the actual total was $126 charged on our card. I am not okay with this situation.. where did $126 come from when you said $72??? Asked to speak to the doctor to ask for a partial refund, but he refused to talk to us when we wanted to know why the charges were like this. He spent all of 2 minutes with our cat and couldnt refund a portion of the total visit? Unacceptable customer service

Very friendly, gets us in right away, takes great care of both our dogs and their prices are very reasonable! We have gone here 3 or 4 times now.

While on travel from California our dog became very ill. Dr. Naqi and his staff were very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Naqi to anyone looking for an honest small town feeling veterinarian. My wife and I can’t thank everyone at Glenkirk Animal Hospital enough for all they have done for our four legged daughter. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you Dr. Naqi! -J&S

Taco loves the veterinarian and all the staff. I have never seen him so happy to go to see a doctor in his life. Switched from his old office to this and he absolutely wouldn't leave. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They really care for the animals.

It is very disappointed. No profesionality. Just want money. If your puppy got sick and visit this clinic they will ask you about spayed not a symtom. They want to know wher you get vaccin.... I dont know how many veterinarian they have only I see from Homepage was one doctor. However receptionist can diagnosis and treatments in this clinic so really good for you. I ask them to send my invoice via email and I got receipt not an invoice. No item and just totall price I paid WoW.

Dr. Naqi was extremely professional and efficient when we went last week. My dog HATES the vet but the staff was attentive and quick with the vaccinations and blood test. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone. Our nurse Jenny even spent time loving on our girl which is a plus is any dog moms book!

Excellent overall experience, they went out of their way to help out.  Late Saturday afternoon my dog had what I thought was a seizure.  Most other vets are not open extended hours on the weekend and I wasn't sure if this was an emergency situation or not.  I had heard great things about Glenkirk Animal Hospital and even though I was not a current client, I decided to give them a call for advice.  After the receptionist listened to my concerns, Dr. Naqi took my call directly and provided options for next steps.  I decided to bring my dog in for a quick evaluation and blood test to eliminate issues from existing medications.   It turned out my dog was suffering from a spinal issue which was causing severe pain and seizure like symptoms.  Dr. Naqi was able to issue medications right on the spot to treat the pain, inflammation, and muscles.  He was also able to do x-rays at his facility to rule out any spinal damage as well as run blood work.  Dr. Naqi spent over an hour with us after closing to see my dog through this situation which is above and beyond expectation.  He explained our options at every step of the way, was very clear about the possible outcomes, and recommended a phased treatment which resulted in a recovery of my dogs functions.  The facility is fantastic as well and has a wide range of equipment and services to diagnose and treat many issues.  Dr. Naqi and staff were extremely helpful, friendly, caring and can't say enough positive about my experience.  Thank you so much!

I could not recommend Glenkirk Animal Hospital enough. Very friendly and caring staff who genuinely care about your pet's health. Dr. Naqi is wonderful and answered all my questions and concerns regarding my new rescue dog very diligently and thoughtfully. I feel my dog is in great hands at Glenkirk Animal Hospital.

I don't usually post reviews but I feel compelled to write one. This new hospital is a live saver. It saved my dog's quality of life. I had tried everything for his paws allergies and Dr. Naqi gave him Epoquel which seems to have minimized his issue. His paws used to bleed but not anymore. He is a happy puppy and I am a happy dad. Thank you. The receptionist was also super nice and called for follow ups.

Dr. Naqi was wonderful with me and my dog when we needed someone to figure out his health issue. He is responsive, kind, caring, concerned for the welfare of my pet, and took his time listening to me about my dog's previous testing and continuing problems. Would highly recommend this establishment to everyone.

One of our cats has a history of bladder crystals, stones and urinary infections despite being on a prescription diet. Recently she appeared to be having another episode, so we took her in to Glenkirk. They were able to see her on very short notice, and they were also able to do blood and urine workups right there within about 30 minutes. We really appreciate the good service and care they provided.

First visit to this new animal hospital (veterinarian Dr. Naqi) located near Linton Hall & Glenkirk Roads in Gainesville, Va. I brought my new 10 week old puppy in for a check-up. Professional services: attentive, friendly, good communications, great staff, & affordable. I decided I will start to bring my other pets to this animal hospital. Welcomed addition to the Gainesville area - thanks Dr. Naqi and Staff!

Dr Naqi is a very reliable doctor and now in his new office with complete and professional equipment and lovely atmosphere and personal we feel even better. Our dog MISHA loves her doctor...
