Awesome and compassionate staff. They let us come in with our dog. Unfortunately he passed on the way there.

We had to put my moms beloved dog, Lyla, to sleep the day before Christmas Eve. My mom also recently passed so this was especially hard. The people at Amber wood were kind, sensitive & accommodating. However, my only complaint was that we had to wait with her in the back of our car outside for 45 minutes before a room was ready. But other than that, they were very kind.

Excellent staff, fair prices. My pup has extreme vet anxiety. Everyone we interacted with was helpful, professional, and understanding. Made the stress of the visit worth it because they were able to help my pup.

Please DO NOT take your pet here, the customer service is the worst. They DO NOT care about your business.

After reading the latest reviews online I didn't feel comfortable bringing my dog there so I called to cancel my appointment and was hung up on three times... Not put on hold, just hung up on... Make your own decisions, I made mine.. If I could give less than 1 Star I would but you have to give at least 1 to post...

I just returned home from Amberwood Veterinary Hospital. This is a small Veterinary Hospital. The staff is wonderful. I took my cat in because he was experiencing some pain in one of his back legs. Because my cat does not play nice with strangers (biting and scratching) the Tech took him to the back to weigh him and have the Dr. check him out. Dr. Russo informed me that he was unable to examine Butler (the cat) because my cat was stressing out and he, (Dr. Russo), said he didn't want to stress Butler anymore than he was. The Vet informed me that he is going to contact a pet pharmacy and order a mild sedative that I will give Butler before bringing him back to be examined next week. I would recommend Amberwood Veterinary Hospital to anyone who loves their pet.

Beware! They have a new owner — prices have doubled. Even the staff talks about how they can’t afford to bring their own animals here now. I will not be back. Such a shame because this place used to be awesome.

AMAZING group. The vet spent lots of time speaking with me and addressing my concerns, I take all my animals here and HIGHLY recommend. They truly care about the quality of life of your pet and will work with you to come up with a treatment plan that works for you and your pet.

We refer the staff to our pup, as the Girls ! Dr. B. , Dr. Smith all wonderful too!

I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. We have been going there for many years.

I've been going to Amberwood for 17 years now and I'm always happy. I usually see Dr. Bruchard and he's my favorite. But everyone else I've seen has always been nice and helpful.

Have been taking my dog there 10 plus years. Great people and my dog is healthy as a pup!

I called for a quote on getting my puppies tail docked(it’s for an actual health reason) and was lectured by the nurse about the ethics of tail docking. I called for a price not a debate. It’s completely unprofessional for a nurse to give her personal opinion on a surgery let alone lecture a customer/patient about the ethics of a surgery. She was extremely rude, I wouldn’t recommend going here.

Once again, Amberwood was there for us. My little Simon received excellent care today for a traumatic foot injury. I received clear instuctions for his follow-up care and meds. They were very good at calming down a nervous mom too! As always, thank you for all you do!

The staff is always professional, they go out of their way to make sure you understand everything, and most importantly, they treat your pet like family.

Amberwood was and will always be the veterinary hospital I would choose. The doctors and staff took the best care of my little Schnauzer from the time she came to me from Arkansas in 2006 to her death in 2020. They are the best in the area and should I decide on aother pet, I would choose Amberwood for its care. ????????

Great Place .. been going there for years ..

Dr. Bruchard is amazing. I have taken all my docs to him. He is very up front with you compassionate. The vet techs are very loving and caring. The whole staff treats your fur baby as one of their own.

A sad visit for me. Another had to cross the rainbow bridge. Doctor and staff are wonderful! Compassionate and understanding.

Absolutely great Vet! My dog has always been difficult to handle, especially since she is deaf, but they were very professional and understanding about her temper. I am excited to continue using Amberwood as our regular Vet here in Culpeper.
