My first experience with CLVH was about 11 years ago when our elderly Golden Retriever needed x-rays and our vet’s was waiting on repair. He referred us to Cottage Lake and they were amazing. Our sweet old friend had bone cancer and they were as caring and compassionate as if he had been their patient all 14 years of his life. I decided then that when we were ready to have another dog, this is who would take care of him. It took ten years but when we were ready to bring home a new Golden Retriever he went to Cottage Lake. In December, we added a little sister Golden to our family and she had her first appointment last week. I am so grateful to have found this group of animal lovers to take care of our four legged family members. They are so kind, compassionate and professional. I happily recommend them to anyone who asks where to take their pets.

I have been going to Cottage Lake Vet for years. They were very helpful in scheduling 2 appointments at the same time for my two dogs with two different doctors. One dog was able to go into the office for exam and vaccines. The other dog is a sweet rescue dog with an accute aversion to vet offices. He turns into Cujo. They were able to accommodate him by coming out to the car to see him and give him his vaccines. It still wasn't easy, but it was 100% better than taking him into the office. Thank you so much!

I have been here a couple times now and it’s always great, fast and informative. They answer all and any questions, make great suggestions and diagnose problems quickly and accurately. Fit me in with a same day appointment when all others were booked weeks out. Also a very fair price for services! Highly recommend with friendly fast service. Doctors Z is awesome!

Always received compassionate and competent services here, really with any of the vets I have used. Difficult of course with Covid restrictions, but I never have felt hesitant about handing over my dogs and being assured they would receive good care, if though I can't be there during exams.

I'm an animal lover and have rescued many over the years. Some the abused and abandoned others strays, to pound babies. I have also lived all over the US and never have I encountered a veterinary clinic of this stature. The quality of service by their staff and knowledge is matched by their obvious love for our furry friends and I will never think twice about the hour drive from my home for the trust I have in them. If you want your baby in good hands bring them here. Period.

Absolutely horrible experience will never bring any pets back to this completely unprofessional and unreliable Clinic. Last appointment I was one minute late and they gave away my appointment to somebody else and forced me to reschedule. This time I showed up five minutes early and they made me wait 20 minutes before I finally walked away after being ignored for 20 minutes as staff walked past me completely oblivious and helped other people who showed up after me. This apathetic and unprofessional staff is completely unreliable and lcannot even keep their appointments. I sent them information about cataracts drops and they didn't even bother to read the information I sent. Do not bring your pet to this Veterinary Clinic unless you hate your pet and want him to die soon. This unreliable and completely unprofessional staff is a waste of time and will do nothing but frustrate you and cost your pet it's health. It's up to you but you've been warned after being forced to use these guys for years I will never ever go back to this place again.

I have been here almost 6 years and have had great service. Everyone is always polite and friendly. I have 4 pets who are treated here. Their attention to my pets has been very thorough. They have always answered my questions. I would recommend them to everyone.

Clean, professional...BUT, I know it's because of the covid-19...BUT could we please have spaced seating outside your office? Some of us have to wait a while during our pet's visit. I know that we can wait in our vehicle, but some of us like to stay closer. Thank you.

Called in the morning regarding a sick new rescue pup. They were able to see me the same day providing thorough exam and meds. They will be my vet in the future for all pets. Highly recommend.

We’ve seen 3 different vets here and all are stellar. They are always so patient and kind - my dog gets the best care.

Update August 2021. Still going to Cottage Lake Vet. I'm on dog number 9. The vets sometimes change- they're good about getting me an appointment with the ones I like to work with most. I've been using Cottage Lake Vets since 1992- through cats and dogs and we have covered the gamut together. Regular check-ups/vaccinations, tumors, cancers, dental extractions, eating 2 pounds of chocolate Frangos, being attacked by a neighbor's dog, to one of mine running into a ladder and slicing open her forehead. I've always been happy with the service they provide, the recommendations they make and that they respect when I've decided that I don't want to pursue a treatment.

I'm so impressed with everyone- 2 paws up for sure!

Excellent job - great care, yet fast and efficient. I have referred several people to Dr. Veal does an amazing job and meets her clients where they are emotionally (end of life decisions) and financially. She spayed my puppy, cleaned my senior dog’s teeth and gives great advice on food and flea/tick treatments.

Caring, knowledgeable staff and docs. Seems a little expensive, but maybe that is just what vet care costs these days. Great care!

Cottage lake Veterinary is the only place we take our pets. They always take excellent care of plus and our animals. We have had a few pass over the years unfortunately but the care that they show to us in those times has been extraordinary. They will treat you like family!

One of my dogs had need of an emergency suturing on a Saturday and her/my vet clinic was already overbooked. They gave me several alternative clinics including CLV. CLV was OPEN when others were closed and others full. CLV called me back having had a cancellation and gave us the 3 pm appointment. They listened carefully to all her feral/rescue issues and did a beautiful, quick job that did not stress her in the least. Healing now. I highly recommend them!

Everyone at CLVH is so kind and caring. I really feel like my pets are in the best hands when they are there. All the vets are great, the vet techs and staff and super sweet and it's a great place to go.

We have been customers of Cottage Lake Vetinary Hospital for over 20 years. They have very kind and patient staff. Going to the vet can be a stressful event but they do their absolute best to make you and your pets feel comfortable. I have noticed there are a lot of staff member that have been there for years which says a lot about the working environment. I can tell they pride themselves on hiring kind compassionate employees. We moved and tried a vet closer to our house for convenience and noticed the difference right away. Our peace of mind is worth a longer drive.
