Wonderful place! We love it, our dogs love it! This is the only place we leave our dogs and are not worried if they're properly taken care of. Very well run facility with lots to offer and very friendly staff!

My very shy and nervous dog did very well there. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

The grooming salon did an outstanding job on my Leonberger and the pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely be using them again and again

Such great service! I took a tour and all the facilities were clean. The animals looked happy. My dog came home with some better walking habits and my wife couldn't be happier. The online reservations could not have been simpler. I am really happy with them.

Great place for your dogs! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, easy parking, and a lovely setting. Wish there wasn't quite so much paperwork though! Highly recommended.

Great first time! They were very attentive to our pup’s needs and even gave a short report about his stay when we returned. Definitely coming back here next time we travel!

This was the longest period of time our older labs have been away from us, and I think we had more nerves than they did. The staff was incredibly kind, and responsive to our request for updates via email and by phone. They cared for every little detail in the same manner that I would, including our dogs comfort. They came home happy and we feel great knowing that Cascade Kennels is around the corner the next time we need to travel.

The grounds are lovely and they are communicative- they have extremely strict Covid measures which meant I couldn't bring anything from home except food and now my dog is sick and seems traumatized. Since we couldn't go in I don't know what the inside looked like. i haved worked at kennels and boarded many dogs, I understand how kennel cough works. She had all her vaccinations and is just little and she doesn't seem to be getting better - it's been over a week now. I'm really upset - she doesn't want to walk or do anything but sleep.

They took such good care of my dog Zeus. He ended up getting a runny nose while he was there and they took him to the vet with our consent and updated us with everything! Absolutely amazing customer service and amazing care for our baby! I will always be coming back here anytime when Zeus needs a sitter.

First time I sent my dog for half day. Nice services and staff. Reasonable rate. Nicer than anyplace I have used with previous pets. Helpful report. He seemed to enjoy the his stay. Taking him for a week stay soon.

Really pleased with how they managed our challenging pups. They were very communicative, answering calls and emails to check in, and reaching out proactively when they had questions or updates. We will definitely use them for future boarding needs.

This review is for the board and train program specifically. Dawn is a fantastic trainer and will have your dog trained in a shockingly short amount of time. The real work will be for your dog to respond to you like it does to Dawn, which takes a ton of consistency on your part after the training program. I was nervous about corrective based training, but really it is corrective/praise based training. My dog really appreciates the structure and set of rules Dawn follows. It's of utmost importance that your dog can understand the rules and that it's fair, otherwise corrective training wouldn't work. Once your dog has learned the command, it will either go 1) command 2) verbal/physical praise OR 1) command 2) correction 3) praise. So your dog will always end on something positive. Ps. I have a very anxious dog. The structure really helped his anxiety out on walks and to follow what I say. This program will not be a fix all, but will give you a great foundation. You can/should continue working with Dawn after the program to tackle anything that comes up later.

Staff is always friendly and caring and go above and beyond to make sure my concerns were taken care of. They obviously enjoy their jobs and coworkers and was very professional and careful. My dogs are always happy to rush in the door and say hello to all their friends. They come home clean and content. I'm glad I found Cascade Kennel, and will definitely use them in the future.

Super friendly and helpful staff and a wonderful experience for my dog while I was out of town

We had an awesome first experience! A sitter we'd hired cancelled on us hours before we were supposed to board our flight for our 10 day vacation. Cascade Kennels graciously welcomed us in for a tour of the kennel and was able to board our pup immediately. Every staff member was so kind and helpful. We called several times to check in and they were always so reassuring and able to tell us all about our dog's stay and how his care was going as they got to know him. We'll be back again!

We loved our experience with Dawn. We brought our 11 month golden doodle to the train/board program. It was a great learning experience for us as well and we are thankful for the training that our dog received. She now responds to commands and no longer tugs on her leash.

We’ve been taking our Aussie, Molly to daycare for the last year and have also boarded her a handful of times as well. Anytime we drop her off we know she is going to be so well taken care of and the staff’s attention to detail is second to none. Spacious areas, very clean and again, the staff - amazing! Even if we lived further than 15 mins away, any extra drive time would be well worth it!

I have used Cascade kennels both as a boarding facility and as a trainer. The boarding facility has been great. I feel confident they properly care for my Shiba int, and the ability to include add-ons like walks and playtime makes me feel like he gets the appropriate attention. He is not a dog that can spend time in doggy daycare which is what so many boarding facilities require. he likes other dogs but is VERY picky, so knowing he won't be forced into a situation where he is set up to fail makes me feel comfortable when I go out of town. The kennel portion I give 5 stars. That said, the training is where I had major issues. I contacted Cascade about some behavioral issues with my dog in the home. He required behavioral training and not obedience training. He was already trained from the time he was a puppy to sit, lay down, stay, leave it, drop it, stand, and come when called. I specifically told the trainer this when we talked on the phone, met to drop him off, and wrote it on the form. She and I had talked on the phone for quite some time so I really felt she had a good understanding of what I needed hep with. He started his board-and-train right before the beginning of COVID. Understandably I couldn't go see him and do the in person sessions. A week or so before I was to pick him up, I chatted with the trainer again and she told me she had taught him to sit, lay down, stay, and walk on a leash. I reminded her that the reason he was there was his behavioral issues. She assured me they would cover that in the last week. They did not. I was assured that by implementing their training techniques in my home it would solve the problem. I tried for 4 weeks. Not only did it NOT solve the problem, it made it 10 times worse because now he was confused as to why I was using different words for commands he had known for 7 years. That confusion led to frustration from him, and that frustration involve him lashing out. If you want them to obedience train your dog, they can do that, however I DO NOT recommend them for any behavioral training even though they claim they can do it. I threw away $3000 to have everything be worse than when I started and I eventually just threw it all out the window. I should have asked for a partial refund. So I give them 2 stars. 5 stars for boarding, and negative stars for training.

Took obedience class with Katie Morrell. Excellent. WAY dark driving to the kennel at night, but worth it.
