My dog loves it there.

The man I spoke to to get more information was super rude. I’ve seen so many rave reviews about their service but I’m sorry if my first experience just talking on the phone to get more information is bad I can’t imagine what else I would be in for. I have also seen more complaints about the same issue. I will not be taking my dog there based off that phone call. I want to feel like I’m bringing my companion to friendly environment where he will be well taken care of and that’s not the first impression I got from this man. Not only that but their drop off and pick up times are not very flexible and that is hard for most people to be able to work around.

Is like to stay there myself but you have to be a pet.

We used to take our senior dog here, and now that she's passed we have taken our puppy to be boarded. Both were set up in age/ability appropriate "play groups" and were well taken care of.

I have nothing but gratitude for this place. They have treated my dog Wrigley like family from day one. She has become the friendliest and happiest and on many days tiredest dog in Southern Washington. She gets along with all dogs and loves all people because she has been so well socialized at Running Pond. They take care of her specific needs and treat her like family. When we pull up she wants to jump out of my truck to get to see everyone as quickly as possible. This is guilt free boarding and day care. It’s not easy to leave your dog somewhere and when you know that your dog is happy and excited to be there —that is huge!! Love these people.

The place was beautiful and the staff was so knowledgeable and loving to my dogI saw a car pull in with 2 large dogs that where barking and hoping all over the back seat. They were so excited to be there.. I knew then that this was the place for my dog.

The facility is Great. However, the hours are terrible. You'll end up paying an extra day, maybe more, almost every time. Simply because they aren't open for drop off or pick up or both. Closed all holidays. Very inconvenient. Nice staff though.

Our black lab, Satchel, stayed at Running Pond Acres, from April 26th through May 3rd, 2019. We can not say enough wonderful things about the care and great exercise our dog received. During his stay he lost six pounds because of the exercise he received from being outdoors and socializing with other dogs. Also when we called almost daily the staff was so receptive to giving us reports on how he was doing. Very polite and extremely cordial staff. We are planning to utilize their daily day care so that on occasion we can drop off our dog for daily exercise. I am sure that he will be looking forward to that.

The dogs can run and play all day in the grass not a rubber matted warehouse. the staff are wonderful and very knowledgeable about dogs and putting good play groups together. They made me feel very comfortable leaving my babies there! Wouldn't go anywhere else!

We had both our dogs here for the long weekend. They seem so happy and had a great time! We will definitely be back! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly as well! Very happy with our first experience with boarding.

My rating of only two stars comes from how my telephone inquiry regarding boarding was handled. The gentleman was very abrupt and seemed not to want to go into detail about the facility. It caused me to have serious doubts about leaving my beloved dog there. I asked if I could tour the place and was told that they really didn't do that. After reading the other reviews of those who have actually used this service, I did feel more encouraged. The gentleman on the phone needs to be more personable. I felt he was totally detached from our conversation. This may not be the case, but making one feel confident about leaving one's pet is crucial.

We took our 9month old German shepherd puppy to running pond acres this weekend. It was her first time without us. The staff handled her amazingly and we learned she has some separation anxiety and also is athletic enough to jump their fences. But the staff is so well trained they were able to handle that no problem. There were areas for her to stay where the fences were extremely tall. Overall I think it was a great place for our pup. Cons: When you call, the man you speak with is the owner. We never got to meet him and it was clear he never meets the dogs either although he pretended to know exactly how our pup was doing. He said she's doing great and there are no problems and what not. But when we showed up the staff told us that she didn't eat all her food and that she had some anxiety. So the person on the phone doesn't know what is actually going on with your pet from my experience. Also, we were told we couldn't see where our dog would sleep and eat and play. We showed up for a tour and all we saw was an old model of where the dogs sleep and a grass field. So you really just have to trust they're doing what they say they are because there's no way of knowing and you're not allowed to check yourself. Last but not least is your pets belongings. It seems they don't care much about it. We were told not to bring favorites so we didn't but they should say to bring toys you don't want back. When we asked where a toy was we were told oh I'm sorry we didn't even look. Overall I would definitely feel comfortable bringing her there again in the future because my complaints are pretty minor. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and they really help alleviate any stresses and concerns you have.

This is a great place! They treat your pets exactly the way you like them treated. I know one thing, if I was a dog, I'd love to stay here!

Have been bringing our dog here for 9 years now. Our Minnie gets excited when she gets there as she knows its her play time. She comes home and sleeps for days as she has so much fun running around and playing. It is a huge comfort to know that when we travel, our dog is so well taken care of. This place is worth every penny.

Gunnar reunited with Jane at Running Pond during my longest trip away from my now 3.5 year old. I was able to see his personal "suite" when I dropped him off and felt much reduced stress at the realization his quarters would be more comfortable than mine during a 10-day trekking excursion. It was obvious he was happy to be back. When I picked him up the gals at the front gave me a detailed report and I was able to meet a few of his favorite canine friends from the week plus stay. Gunnar looked longingly towards his new friends and playground as I drove away. Makes me feel like a very good mom to see him this way!
