These folks are one of a kind! If you want a safe, fun, loving and comfortable home away from home for your puppies this is where they belong. All the staff were so pleasant to work with, reasonable, and particularly accommodating to all our pups needs. We had an extended boarding need due to the emergency situation at our home. We were temporarily displaced as a result and it was stressful for everyone except for our dogs thanks to Mountain View. Savannah and Autumn were particularly amazing members of the staff! Olive and Smokey forever love you guys!

Felt scammed. Our dog went there for one night which was supposed to be $42. When we picked her up, we were charged $35 more than what we were supposed to pay, this is on top of the extra $15 you have to pay for a behavioral assessment. Charges were being added without our knowledge which doubled the cost of her stay.

My dog loved his stay - they sent pictures of him on the second or third day showing him playing outside. His tail was up and he was racing around. So glad we found a new home away from home for our beloved little chihwienie.

Mt View has extremely compassionate, well trained people who happen to love dogs. My dog nearly jumps out the car window when we pull into the driveway. The staff are very transparent and excel at communication with the owner. They are fantastic!

I have been taking my dog to Mt. View Play and Stay since he was 4 months and he is now 2 years old. The staff take an keen interest in the dogs and how they interact with each other. I can just call the same day and ask if there is room and they say “bring him in”. They have adapted well to the coronavirus and now come to the car to pick him up. Staff members are positive and definitely love dogs. My dog loves going to doggie daycare!!

They took excellent care of my dog soldotna when i was in the hospital. She had food, treats, and toys donated to her. She stayed there for a few months and was treated like family. I highly recommended this place.

We have been going to doggy day care here since it opened. Recent changes have pushed us to switch. You used to be able to drop off same day but now you have to make a reservation. Other places require the same so the policy is not the end of the world but this is a new policy and they never sent any information out in the mail. We are intermittent users of daycare so when we arrived to drop off (which was acceptable in the past) we were turned away. Okay, fine policy change. How do you reserve a slot? Can I reserve a space online? No, in order to reserve a space you must call. You cannot reserve a space online. You also cannot pay online. I have called to prepay packages and requested in the morning to pay for daycare packages and have been turned away because only the manager can charge and they don't get there till the afternoon. I don't often get to share that I have a business that makes it difficult for their customers to give them money. Finally, day care is extra when you are boarding. They tried to reassure us that they take the dogs out for 10-15 mins every 3-4 hours if you don't pay extra for daycare but assuming every 3 hours for 10 minutes that may only be 40 minutes out a day. Not okay for us. In our house we call them the place of "No." Can you drop off same day? No. Can you reserve online? No. Can I pay online? No. Can I pay now? No. Can I pay over the phone? No. Can I make a reservation for tomorrow then? No. We're full. We switched to Dogs Best Friend and they are super accommodating. They have a reservation policy but they have an extremely easy to use website that you can use to reserve online. You can also pay ahead and online. Imagine that! And, boarding includes daycare in the price so a lot cheaper to board there overall.

My dog loves each day at Play and Stay! She can't get out of the car fast enough. The staff at Play and Stay are kind and attentive. They genuinely care about and like the dogs.

This place has definitely gone down hill! I haven't used their overnight care in over 3 years and needed a place for my 1 yr old boxer pup. I called and made a reservation for New Year's Eve. The girl on the phone never told me to bring food or that since January 1st was a holiday that I couldn't pick up my pup and that he would be crated all day and for 2 nights. I called and left a message on the 1st when we were in the parking lot. No one returned my call till the 2nd at 8 am telling me "sorry we were closed you can come pick up your dog anytime between now and 5 or 6..... well actually its 6" (she didn't even know what time they closed). So I pick him up a little after 8 am. When she brang my dog out I expressed my concern and told her we were never told that they were closed on the 1st, either at drop off or when I made the reservation. If I had known that, I wouldn't have made the reservation. She was not empathetic at all. Blamed me for not looking at the website (I didn't book through the websites, I called them directly since my dog goes there for routine care) and told me shes sure her staff told us about the closure. I'm not even sure they properly cared for my pup! When I brought him home he was so thirsty he drank his whole bowl of water then I let him outside and he pooped and peed. They supposedly are there at 6 am to tend to the dogs, pretty sure my dog had not been out yet! I have never been so disappointed in animal care then I was today. The lack or respect and responsibility was disgusting. I will now be looking for a new vet as well! There vet is also less than mediocour, but that's another review!

I love working here! I have worked at multiple boarding facilities and this one is by far the best. Our team is fantastic, we’re all 110% devoted to making sure your dogs are happy and well cared for! I have never felt comfortable leaving my OWN dog at past boarding facilities I have been involved with, but I would board my dog at Mountain View Play and Stay in a HEARTBEAT. Amazing facility! ????????

Our dog has the best time here and always comes home exhausted, which is great because we don't have a lot of time to take her to the dog park or on long walks. Great staff, reasonable pricing, good location right next to the vet's office.

My dog loves coming here. He can’t get into the reception area fast enough when we pull into the parking lot. Great staff, clean facilities and the price is reasonable for how much attention they give the dogs.

I have been taking my pups to Pam and the fantastic staff at Moutain View Play and Stay since they opened their doors. Our boys (we have three) are frequent guests as we travel a lot. Our boys are always beyond excited to go see their friends two legged and four and we always have peace of mind knowing how well they’re cared for.

Love, love, love this place! Pam and her staff are wonderful, patient, kind and loving with our dog, Mac. He gets so excited that his whole body shakes when we ask him if he wants to go see "friends". He knows that means going to Mountain View Play and Stay for a day of fun or for boarding. The staff works hard to assess each dog's personality and compatibility to ensure that all the dogs have constructive and positive interactions with the other dogs. We also appreciate that they have been keenly observant and have pointed out some minor health issues with our dog that may have gone unnoticed by us. We really can't say enough good things about this place. My husband and I highly recommend them.

We always bring our 2 Boxers and German Shepherd here when we go on vacation. We started boarding at the vet clinic and moved over when the play and stay was built. Mountain View has been our vet clinic for the 8 years we have lived here. The vet staff and the play and stay staff are great!! I don't trust anyone else with my family.
