I’ve been taking my bichon Gigi here for the last few years and I am so glad I decided to give Kung Fu Shih Tzu a try!! I’ve tried Petco and a few other places but no one has perfected my dog’s hair like Kung Fu Shih Tzu has. Specifically Mallory, she is so wonderfully kind and has kept notes on how we typically like having my pup’s hair groomed. As of right now, she is the only groomer in Vancouver I trust with Gigi! She treats all of the animals tenderly and with immense care, she is also super receptive to any concerns or requests one may have. Overall, I can’t sing their praises enough, they are meticulous and skilled with their craft and it truly shows. They’re professional, kind, and talented.

Just visited for the first time on recommendation of my neighbor. The building is hard to find but it was worth the effort. Both my dogs got nail trims plus one needed anal glands expressed. It was nice to be able to see the dogs while the nails were being done, it helped keep them from freaking out. They did a great job and the price is extremely fair. Will return!

I just picked up my dog and they only trimmed his paws, face, and nails. I asked for a puppy cut (like actually cut the hair on his body) but that did not happen. It has been close to impossible to get them on the phone when I call (or even get them to return my calls after I leave a voicemail) to discuss the issue. Based off my current experience I would not return.

the ladies here always did a wonderful job ,pricing was competitive and fair,I had to change to another groomer sadley because of there policy's on pet pickup charges.The first time was completely diffrent than the 2nd time i took him,i work Downtown Portland , the 1st time i brought him in , i was told he was ready but since i was at work , that i could finish my day at work at 2:30 then come pick him up meaning id be there about 3 ,no rush. The second time that I went and dropped him off ,Expected to get the same treatment as I did the first time but as soon as she told me that he was ready to be picked up ,she said that they would charge me a ridiculous amount I believe it was like a dollar per minute or $30 per 30mins,something crazy like that at the moment I was at work and cannot leave work so I had to get someone to go pick him up and it really put me in a bind ....I would not have scheduled him to get groomed if I had known that he had to be picked up right away ,I completely understand if you don’t have the room for boarding but it’s really important that you let your customers know this information,and your pick- up policies and not just be super courteous the first time and then the second time just put a customer in a bind like i was .

I called on a Wednesday and left a message, I got a call the next morning and was able to get my puppy in for a nail trim on Friday! Everyone was super kind, especially since my dog acts like she's being tortured when her nails are cut. The process was quick. Definitely would go back!

Really great groomers! The girls love them and get all excited when we tell them they're going to the groomers or it's spa day. They are really good with our girls and would highly recommend them!

Excellent and fast service. They seem to really love working with animals and are extremely talented groomers. I love that they have a back yard in case someone needs a potty break. 10/10 would recommend!
