AWESOME communication between staff and pet owner. With three cats and a dog that all need constant vet care, it’s so wonderful to be able to make an appointment easily, know that everything’s gonna be on time and organized, and they let you know exactly what’s going on with your pet. This veterinary hospital has been a lifesaver!!

I have had nothing but amazing quality care here. We had the most sensitive and caring experience when we had to put our dog down, the staff was so considerate and made the process more bearable. We now have two bunnies who regularly see Dr. Paulette. She is the most amazing vet to my two fur babies and has such a positive spirit. She is extremely knowledgeable and responsive, going above and beyond to communicate with you. I love this facility, it’s a 50 minute drive from my house and would never go anywhere else!!

These folks have been super nice and loving to my fur babies. I'd highly recommend this vet. The vet techs especially are very nice here and sometimes that's more important than the Dr being nice imho.

It can be difficult to find a good exotic vet in the PNW. Dr. Paulette put care and attention into evaluating my bearded dragon that I have not received from any other veterinarian so far! She treated him with the same joy and care that she would treat her own companion, and expressed sincere excitement at being his doctor. The visit fee is a little steeper than previous vets I've used, however it includes an ultrasound exam which I haven't seen anywhere else and is SO VITAL for a proper exam of a reptile. I think that working as a team we will be able to give my bearded dragon many more happy years.

I love UP Veterinary Hospital. We have taken our dog for care there for the three years we have lived in UP. All the vets and staff we have interacted with have been very professional and caring. Our dog gets very nervous going to see any vet but they treated her kindly every time. Dr Paulette is so nice and we feel she did a thorough exam of our elderly dog. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a new vet.

We have three pets that go to University Place Veterinary Hospital. Recently we had a minor pet emergency with one of our dogs. I called at 0800 on a Monday morning and we were in the office by 10:30. They were quick, efficient, and extremely kind while giving the best care. 10/10 recommend to all of our friends and family in the area.

They are very good with my animals, and always offer friendly helpful service. Dr. Ruthford is amazing!

We had a great first time experience with UP Vet Hospital from drop off to pick up. Staff were professional but also warm and friendly. It took us a while to book our first appt, but given our experience I can understand why.

Trustworthy establishment. Responsive to my inquiries and concerns regarding my pets; everyone has always been very helpful, friendly and patient. Service has always been prompt and timely, even during curbside-appointments. University Place Veterinary Hospital has been seeing my pets for 5 years. Despite the fact I have moved to another town, I will continue to travel to UPVH for my pets' veterinary care. Keep up the good work guys! You're all awesome!

Dr. Paulette was amazing! We are new to rabbit husbandry. Her insight enthusiasm and willingness to help has boosted our confidence and helped us relax into this new adventure.

Dr. Paulette was awesome. She stood out in the rain while we chatted about my Klee Kai puppy she had just seen for the first time and didn’t seem to be bothered at all. She was very personable and gave me a lot of good information and some suggestions. If you have the chance to get into this clinic do not pass it up. Highly recommended!

Thanks to the amazing professionals at University Place Pet Hospital, my sweet Cameo is back to his normal goofy self. They were calm and reassuring when I was feeling panicked and took great care of my boy. I'll always bring him back here whenever I need anything. Thank you again!! ❤️

The care team is always kind, compassionate, and makes me feel like my pet is the only one they're caring for that day. I appreciate their time and skills and am so glad to live near them to care for the animal I love!

Every time I bring my dog here, they treat both him and me with so much kindness and respect. They always listen carefully to everything I say with patience and I never feel rushed or pressured. All the doctors and staff are so friendly, kind and loving. They take great care to be gentle and respectful of the fact that that they need to be in my dog's personal space, which he is nervous about. They keep his records accurate and updated very well. I moved about 45 minutes away from University Place, but I drive down there to continue to go to this veterinary clinic because they are so wonderful!

Consistly good care and communication.

Dr. Paulette is amazing with guinea pigs (and mice!). She doesn't charge enough for her services! She's respectful, compliments what I'm doing right, and doesn't talk down to me. I know my piggies are in good hands with her. The rest of the staff is awesome too. I can't recommend them enough!

Everyone is super nice and friendly. Able to make appointments which is super helpful. Doctor was very through with explaining what was going on with my cats and appointments were quick. Would definitely recommend this vets office to family and friends!

As a new cat owner I'm always worried about the little things. My vet here has been great to make sure that both I and my cat are calm going into an appointment (or just my cat during this pandemic). She is very clear about everything and ahead of the game with my cat's health. They always greet my cat with smiles every time he comes in, excited to see him once more.

Very friendly staff. They even told me my dog was too fat in a nice way. Wish my doctor would use that approach with me.
