I did not like the customer service. I took my kitten here for her first check up and shot. The doctor did not spend any time time talking to me. He just kinda did things and then I found out when I got the bill how much the certain procedure was. I mostly just talked to the assistant who was helpful and she’s the one who told me what’s going on. Doctor checked for ear mites and it came back negative, and he never said anything else. Turns out she had a bacterial infection in her ears which I found out when I went to guilford animal hospital which btw is definitely more expensive but better service in my opinion. You do get cheaper prices at this vet clinic but I would rather pay more and be more informed than have someone who barely says 2 words to me when I am paying 140$ for 15 mins of his time.

Dr. Punia and the staff were unbelievably accommodating and attentive when dealing with the aftermath of a difficult surgery for our dog. We absolutely recommend.

I have been taking my pets to Atlantic Animal Hospital Since they opened. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have accommodated me several times. Sometimes waiting after hours for me to get my pets to the office. Prices are fair and I highly recommend that you trust the Atalantic Animal Hospital to take care of your pets

The worse customer service. If you enjoy being robbed then I highly recommend. I asked for a simple second opinion and they refused to even explain to me what the medication I was giving my dog even does. And they wouldn’t tell me anything unless I paid 130$. I wish you guys loose all credibility and run out of business have a nice life being thieves. My 4 month puppy now has his poor life on the line.

It is not fun seeing your animal suffer suddenly -- for reasons you do not know and stressing them out further taking them to the vet. The staff and Vet at Atlantic Animal Hospital were very nurturing and helped make my sick/stressed chihuahua feel more at ease. Dr. Punia does not rush diagnostics just to get onto the next patient? animal? He was very thorough and gentle with my dog. She received IV Treatment for her severe dehydration and was diagnosed with pancreatitis which can be very sudden (and serious). My furbaby is in recovery mode, I was given medication for her ailment and she is currently sleeping soundly. She has to go on a low-fat food regimen after she is fully healed, for the rest of her life. I really appreciated the followup phonecall the next day from Dr. Punia and his advice/recommendations he provided. Overall I highly recommend this animal clinic, the vet and supporting staff were very friendly and put your furbaby at ease -- while providing same-day diagnostics and superb care.

Ended up bringing my dog here for a cruciate surgery, as my usual vet was booked out for over a month. I was almost turned off due to some of the bad reviews but I had zero problems and am relieved I took him here instead of waiting. I thought the dr was very knowledgeable, he does offer a lot of treatments and creams but I don’t think it’s because he’s trying to up-sell you, He just suggests anything that will help your animal. The Dr’s personality isnt overly friendly, but he gets the job done and he’s good. I would recommend him for any surgery needs

We bring our puppies there all the time from North Vancouver. The whole team is friendly, efficient, and very reasonably priced.

I havent been to a vet in years happy to say. I was gifted a puppy for my birthday and I want to make sure that she has the best start. I got her her shots and deworming meds. My pup she was so chill I was certain she trusted this Vet. and took as a sign she liked them. I was wrong she just never knew better yet. I also seen a calico cat that lives there is happy cat. After going to him a few times I really dont think that he is not the cheaper vet. Also I dont like the fact he never even looked in my dogs file to see what he had already done. Almost got my husband to get a second micro chip in my dogs ear. He is the only vet she has seen up till yesterday! Happy to say that I found a vet who interacts much better with my dog and with us. And is cheaper!

A great experience Friendly staff

The doctor is extremely caring towards animals and the owners. He came to my home to euthanize my cat and was very kind and gentle during a very difficult time. I just brought my dog Buddy to their clinic and had his teeth cleaned and some extractions done. The doctor is very sensitive to cost and worked with me to ensure the procedure could be done within my budget. He is very knowledgeable and his staff are friendly caring and helpful.

The first time I brought my dog Fluffy to see Dr. Punia in Feb 2019, it was for an emergency bladder stones removal. I called them as soon as they opened and they were able to see her right away. They explained to me what the problem was and advised that she had to go under surgery to remove all the stones in the bladder and also the one that was blocking the urethra. I was so upset and worried the entire time but thankfully, Dr. Punia and the staff who was working that day were very kind and thorough. Post-op, they called a few times to see how she was recovering. Since then, I've continued to take Fluffy back for check ups, vaccines and to purchase her food.

Dr. Punia and the staff at Atlantic are incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. They have supported our family pets for routine check-ups and larger surgical procedures for almost ten years. Dr. Punia has always been very thorough and detailed and we truly appreciate all that he does for our pets!

I brought my dog in. There was a misunderstanding on the cost given by phone..actual amount was twice as much. I requested the receptionist who was pleasant to explain to my wife..they phoned my wife to explain and then the Vet took the phone and fairly loudly seemed perturbed explaining the cost. He then slammed his clipboard down on the desk..totally unpleasant and unprofessional especially during a difficult time to putting our dog down...surprisingly the vet knew nothing about my beloved dog, not one question was asked on why I decided to put him down...he asked nothing about the dog’s medical history ...no assurance or compassion from him that I was making the right decision. Appeared as though just pay and let’s get it done! ...got home and the bill had some other dog’s name on it...goes from bad to worse..Reading negative reviews indicates there is always a response from the vet not taking any responsibilities for his actions....first and last time for us.

I only use this place. The doctor is amazing. The nurses and reception desk are super friendly and compassionate. They care about your pet whether its for a check up, flea medication, injury or surgery. They give emotional support to not only your pet but to you as well. I give this place a 5 star rating !
