My rating is for the grooming department only. The groomers are amazing! I have a pitbull mix that was very anxious the first time they trimmed his nails. The last place we went said he was showing signs of aggression. If you knew my dog you knew my dog this would be hard to believe unless they had done something to provoke it. Sure the 2nd time they trimmed his nails and every consecutive time he has been an angel and they (the groomers at Petco) adore him!!! They are good with people as well!!

So over priced i will always make the trip to Walmart to get the same products for 3/4 off the price. A tiny guinea pig shirt should not cost the same price as an adult shirt from target.

If I could rate zero stars for the grooming department I would. Do NOT take your dog here if you have a Pomeranian, and here is why: I took my 9 month old Pomeranian puppy in to get his very first grooming at the beginning of summer to this place and I’ll admit he had a few nasty mats, but nothing a typical groomer couldn’t handle. All I asked for was a summer cut. Without any consultation before hand the groomer shaved off his entire undercoat to the skin. Having never had a Pomeranian before I didn’t realize the full scope of that idiotic move on the groomers part. You NEVER shave a Pomeranians undercoat for plenty of reasons from what I have gathered that is doggy grooming 101. Anyways, my poor boy is suffering from big bald spots, a patchy and horribly unmanageable coat now.

This is a really small Petco. They have all the basics, but don't expect it to have a wide selection. They carry a small selection of animals. No large parrots. The employees have always been great.

Wasted time and money, and my dog looks like a toddler chopped him up with scissors. I got nothing I asked for and still have to pay FOR WHAT I ASKED FOR. Never will I purchase anything from this place for ALL of my animals nor make an appointment for any needs. I've apologized to my dog 50 times in the last 15 minutes. I'm shook.

Love, love, love Petco in Stanwood! Especially the grooming department. They take such great care of my pets. I can not trim my dogs nails what so ever, and they handle it like a champ. Won't go anywhere else. Absolutely love the PALS Rewards program.

This petco is a great newer location, the store is always very clean and organized. The staff is helpful and they will honor the online sale prices, it's always fun to bring your pets in for a visit.

Great GM -@Stephanie and she was so helpful getting my puppy all geared up and selling me in the wonderful vital care program for both my dogs! So many discounts and perks!

There is alot of merchandise missing to but. The whole refrigerator have has dog food was almost totally empty. Other things as well. Not my favorite place to go.

Took my dog in for a nail trimming, bath, and an expressed. They do great work for a good price!

I was a little putout when they told me they couldn't give my dog a bath and trim because it may make a strain on his heart I have been taking him to a groomer in Bremerton for years and now that I have moved out of the area was trying to find a new one but you can bet it won't be Petco

Got 3 parakeets here the clerk was friendly and she knew all about the birds I wanted. Answered all my questions and the birds are a nice addition to the family.

This place is the worst. They have consistently made errors, the grooming dept can't get their s*** together, and the manager is useless. He's unhelpful, and doesn't know the first thing about customer service. This is not the first time this location has proved disappointing, and in future I will be taking my business elsewhere due to a complete lack of work ethics and incompetence.

Parking was easy and found what we needed quickly. Stopped to visit some animals and said hello.
