I'm Henry's mom, he's my Royal Canin S/O kitty, I first came here on a Sunday as he was having an issue that was three years ago this summer. I have been very satisfied with the care he gets. And he's been doing great ever since. The only negative is that now the hours are no longer convenient, no Saturday hours at all, and not even one night a week open later. I understand Covid hours, but, the hours are now extremely inconvenient, I live downtown, work way out in the valley and now have only 8-5 M-F to pick up meds and bring him in for care. My wish would be half day Saturdays and one night a week until 8 pm. Until you can go back to 7 days a week like when I first came in there. Which was the reason I chose you as our Vet. in the first place, so I don't have to take unpaid time off of work and make my boss mad, when we or I need to come in. Please consider my request . Thank you.

I brought our 14 year old cat in for seizures. Our bill was 1700.00 we left with no answers, no medication and I felt like they pushed expensive tests over the phone using emotions. That wasn’t the part that upset me. He had a little skin tag on his ear I asked if they could take it off while he was out for X-rays and the scoffed saying oh no you’d have to make another appointment...do we can charge again. I left with an awful feeling and a cat with no help

NO DONT GO HERE Penny is dead now!!!!!!, Dont risk my life here! NO Please NO Not the vets advertised! Rookies! MEAN, MEAN, MEAN You must come in with A SWEATY WAD OF MONEY, UP FRONT ONLY,. MY PET DIED, seizing profusely they took her in then argued over money for hours. Then they would NOT give her back to me. She was left to seize the WHOLE TIME. 2 hrs Temperature was 107 for 2 hours The other emergency vet on mission open 24-7. They were mortified by VCA,s neglect. No no NO DONT RISK YOUR PET HERE, I did now puppy is gone. Is this 6 feet under a new law?

Set up an appointment almost a week ago, turns out they never fully saved it, then started asking for a cc over the phone. Worst customer service I've seen at a vet and the ONLY place I've called that has asked for any type of payment through a phonecall.

Dr Leong and her staff are amazing!!! They have taken care of my furbaby like he was their own. He's had 2 surgeries and they did outstanding!!! I love the communication they keep with you after surgery and during the recovery time. I will never take my babies anywhere else. I highly recommend them all. Thank you so much you guys...you all rock!!!

Strictly about the money, My dog had a serious bloody nose, took there and they told me to come back in 2 hours. My dog was put down later that day at another vet due to cancer. Which I also believe they failed to diagnose 2 months prior. Place charges top dollar for Walmart quality. Will never use again

I called and had an estimate done to neuter. We set up the pre-op exam and paid $280 on monday to ensure everything was good for surgery. I was given the all clear and told there was no issues. Today I arrive for the neuter to be told that they did not check his testicles and upon this examination they tell me one of his testicles never descended. That it would add almost $300 extra to the sugery because it would be more invasive. I asked why this wasnt addressed or looked at at the pre-op exam and all they had to say was I dont know and we are sorry. They also never gave us the bag of samples that is supposed to come with his first exam. I am very unhappy with this clinic. Sorry does not cover the time I took off work to be there or for the babysitter I had to pay to be there this early in the morning. Very disappointing I feel like it was a ploy to obtain the most money out of me as possible.

I wanted to update my review. I reached out to the director of the clinic and she was so kind and willing to talk to my husband and I! She really addressed our concerns and put our worry to rest. We feel much more confident in our choice and I really appreciate Tami taking the time to talk to us. We brought our kitty in because he was sick and ended up having a blockage. The care he needed was going to be far too expensive so instead of putting him down, the vet offered to take him on and they would give him the care he needed and then re home him. We agreed, and are very grateful that he was able to get the care needed, but we felt like the entire thing could have been handled better. The clinic still charged us for a scan and then they did not gather any information about him that would be useful for adopting him out. There was just a lot about the situation that left us worrying and frustrated in addition to adjusting to losing our kitty.

I called last night about putting an old cat to sleep. Was told to call at 8:00 a.m. to make one of the few appointments available today. When I arrived at the clinic with the cat, I was told I would have to pay $82.50 for an exam?, (was told so the vet felt comfortable performing the procedure, literally, this cat is struggling, it is apparent with looking at her)was trying to do the humane thing ) before they would administer euthansia. Lack of communication happens but this is not the time or place, it was awful for me to take her and it was an awful trip for her. I have had this cat for 16 years and the shelter guessed she was 2 when I got her ( She was adoped in N.C, then we moved to TX and now WA). Absolutely nothing against your policy, just the lack of communication was completely unprofessional.

Friendly, They have a system where they reserve appointments for people with sick dogs everyday. You have to call at 7am sharp and take that days random available times. I found their prices very high, of course they are in a high lease district, with convenient location. An examine ran like $82 or so, elsewhere $52 or so, but couldn't get an appointment elsewhere for several days. Some not taking new clients, too many sick dogs I guess. A procedure was $262 here, elsewhere I was quoted $130 to $150 ? A full exam with all the tests I needed would be approching $1000 with tax and that wouldn't fix my dog, just tell me what's actually wrong. They were very nice and the people that work there can't effect the prices the owners set, nor can they negotiate them. If you need urgent same day help and money is no object this is the place.

I ended up calling this place to see if we could get our dachshund to be seentseen soonerosooner normal vet or for a possible walk-in appointment. Poor guy had gotten trampled on during a fence fight with the visiting dog of the neighbor's. The lady on the phone only said if it was an emergency. Well duh, I pick up my dog and he yelps, he's shaking/shivering, isn't his jumpy self and was acting very timid. I asked what was considered an emergency and she flatly stated seizures, any bleeding, lethargy and not eating nausea and vomiting. The gal on the phone had cut me off a couple of times during the phone conversation. We ended up taking our dachshund to the pet ER where they diagnosed him with a moderate IVDD.

The people here where so nice. I got one of my dogs fixed and he is still hitting things with his cone. I have trusted them with a few of my older pets and they took care of them from the start to when ot was time to let them go. They are like my family.

Dr. Leong is the best veterinarian I have ever worked with, her attention to detail, knowledge, and bedside manner are beyond words amazing. I have never had a more thorough explanation of what was needed for my dogs in the 20 years I have been a dog owner. She treated me and my grumpy dog with the utmost respect. She will be my family’s vet as long as I am pet owner.

Gave 4 stars because of cost. I'm just assuming that we took our cat jet in too late she died after a sher improvement then things went down hill rapidly.

This place is a joke! We made an appointment a week and a half ago with a receptionist named Alex, to have our dog checked out after he sustained a neck injury. Alex was not very informative and rude on the phone. He made a snarky comment about us not being into the place for years. He made it sound like they didn't even want our business. On the day of our appointment, we knew that we would be late, so we immediately called to let them know. The receptionist, Candy, nicely informed me that we had a 10 minute window to arrive after the scheduled time, otherwise they would have to reschedule. When we arrived they said we were 3 minutes past the window and needed to reschedule. We tried to explain our situation of why we were held up, but didn't get much compassion from them. We were in full communication with the receptionist of our ETA. By the way, there was only one vehicle in the parking lot and six open spaces, it wasn't like they were that busy. The old saying 'The customer is always right' went out the window in all conversation with the receptionist named Rachel. No mercy for the circumstance that was out of our control getting to VCA. Because of Rachel not willing to work with us, we were very frustrated on the phone so chose to hang up instead of saying something we would have later regretted. We had the feeling from the beginning that this place really didn't want our business. That's okay, we will definitely take our business elsewhere.

I was turned away for emergency dental after I'd paid out the wazoo for checkup that found the problem. I was told to go elsewhere because they were only doing one surgery a month and booked. So now I have to pay for yet another initial appointment just to get diagnosed and treated. My poor baby is suffering and having seizures because her front teeth are bad. They don't care at all. Nice VCA, GOOD LOOKING OUT!

If I could give this lower than a one star I would. Our dog was having seizures and they wouldn’t see her because we didn’t have $500 cash right then. She was having a seizure in there and they still did nothing but told us to leave.

Kept going trying to figure out my dogs skin condition why he was itching so much, went multiple times and no answers. Switched vets and took 5 mins to diagnose and fix.

I had to put my beloved Josie cat to sleep. It was excruciating, but I do not have enough words to thank Dr Faus and the amazing staff that cared for her and I. Their compassion, gentleness and genuine care was so evident throughout the process. They made me feel so validated and comforter while there. Beyond that they sent a beautiful, thoughtful card sending well-wishes after. Love their hearts and would most definitely use them again for another fur-child.

They were kind for an emergent station with my dog.

I’m giving 3 stars, but I’m not sure they really deserve it. They were very kind, and they did a lot of testing, but their cost is astronomical!! We got zero answers. They did labs which all came back normal. I paid $714 for white and red blood count, liver and kidney function, and a urine test. They gave my cat an antibiotic shot and a nausea shot as well. They said my total would be over 1100 if I chose to get the xrays. I denied the xrays. My boy was still not feeling good today so I found another vet with an opening. I thought we were going to have to do an X-ray because his back was hurting really bad. After a very thorough exam and looking over his previous labs, we found out he has bladder Inflammation and it’s good I didn’t spend the extra money on the x ray that would have told us nothing. He was holding his pee because his bladder is inflamed. I spent 145 and got a load of medicine for home including pain medicine and anti inflammatory medicine and special food that is gentle on his bladder. With the medicine from this vet, he went potty on the way home and is feeling a lot better.

Horribleness they did nothing for my 9 yr old dog that got attacked from a pit bull so I went somewhere else in Spokane. They stitched up her hear and gave pain med's and antibiotics 14 days. So upset they wouldn't do anything for her not even clean her up they walked her in and walked her out and said they she was breathing and she was fine.

Great option for emergencies when we can't get into our regular vet. Everyone I interacted with was very patient and amazing with our girl. I also appreciate that they offer veteran discounts and are transparent about costs.
