I have edited this review slightly. I am less frustrated then just after the visit. They are very expensive, they did all of the tests on my cat and told me what wasn't wrong with him. He's still very sick. I still have no idea what is wrong with him. I'm taking him to a regular vet.

Those people only cared about the money not my dog. They called me to tell me what was going on with him said take your time and talk with your family less than five minutes after I hung up they were calling me to find out how I was going to pay for it. I have many more issues with how it went but I dont recommend this place at all.

Front vet tech/receptionist was EXTREMELY rude and clearly hated her life. I hate this hospital and will drive else where before going here again. They don't tell you what they are doing until after they do it, thus making you pay thousands of dollars. I'll drive, wait for my vet, or try home remedies. Better care this way than going to that hell hole.

I could not have asked for a more compassionate staff. We had to make the decision to have our precious baby girl go to Heaven yesterday. She had been very sick she was 17 years old. All of the staff were so amazing, at a very hard time we were all so blessed. Thank you for being there everyday much less on Christmas.

Took my guy in with a lump on his face. They were fast and friendly and the vet and tech were super nice and helpful!

Wow! Amazed at the level of care from this place and staff!! Came in twice unsure if it was an emergency and both times the staff evaluated the situation free of charge! Unbelievable and can't say enough about the vet that saw my sweet boy Lewis! GREAT experience!

I cannot empathize enough with the frightening experiences others have reported at this facility. My dog's case was handled unprofessionally by staff members who appear to lack adequate training. PEC is a corporate vet clinic which, in my opinion, is motivated more by profit than good decision-making or individualized care.

This place deserves more one stars, or to be cleared out and replaced with people who know what they are doing. The staff is unknowledgeable and the vet is extremely rude. Not to mention they want to add extra stuff to your bill to gouge you. The whole vibe here was bad and we will never take any animal here again. I was also told by one of the office people to just leave without paying the visit fee since they didn't do anything, needless to say I paid the fee, I'm not shady like their staff. God help you and your animals if you are forced to come here.

Do not bring your pet here. I brought my dog in after she ate some compost. After a couple days, she wasn't eating her food, so I was very concerned. $520 and 2.5 hours later, they said she was fine and sent us home with anti nausea meds. They said they did a pcv and total protein test but refused to provide results. When i questioned them about it they were very rude. After asking about why they charged for something that they didn't actually do, and no one could give me answers, the other people in the lobby started paying attention. So they moved me to a room away from everyone else. I believe they didn't want anyone to catch on to their scam. My dog came out with a bandage on her leg from the supposed blood draw. There was no blood on the bandage. I don't believe they even tested her, but they charged me for it. I never recieved any tests results. The discharge paper says no diagnostic testing was done. The discharge papers, the meds, and the invoice (which I had to make then give me) didn't match up at all. It was incredibly obvious that this place is scamming people out of their money in emergency situations. When they brought my dog out, her leash was so tight she couldn't breathe. No one there cared about the animals. It was all about making as much money as possible. They are taking advantage of people who are just trying to save their pets. You people that work there should be ashamed of yourselves.

I would give them negative infinity stars if I freaking could. My significant other had a Blue Heeler named Moe. She was the most beautiful, lively, and loyal dog I've ever met. He brought Moe in on the 10th of December 2020 because she was clearly not feeling well. After their visit however she went from being lively just seemingly uncomfortable to becoming lethargic, drooling, and practically deficating herself before she inevitably seized to death. My significant other could do nothing but hold her and comfort her in her last few hours of life while she had a violent sceizer. The vet had administered a drug called Cerinia that he claimed would help her but failed to warn my significant other of the harmful effects. While she was seizing he called the vet asking if this could have been because of the shot he gave her and he flat out denied it! Only with his own research and the second opinion of Moe's primary vet did we find out that what she suffered is the exact worst side effects that could possibly happen. We are devastated and nothing can truly ever make up for what has occurred. She was the best dog in the world and didn't deserve that. She was 12 years old and still had years in her. We love you Miki Moe ❤ You were the best dog in the world and you'll be missed terribly. (I don't give a flip if it's a common side effect my significant other should have been made aware of the side effects no matter how uncommon! She didn't even get to take the medicine you sent home the only thing that could have killed her was the shot YOU have given her.)

They figured out my dog has a cardiac issue, they said WSU would be best place to care for him, and so then they didn't charge us at all. They did some tests they could have charged for, so thats pretty great of them. Thanks. I recommend these folks.

I read all the reviews for the Pet Emergency Clinic and was worried about going there with my cat. He had a nail that was embedded in his pad and getting an appt at the vet, well was impossible. So off to the clinic we go. Everyone was so nice, place was clean and Dr. Graffe was fabulous. Yes it was alittle more expensive than Vet, but after all these are our babies. Thank You Pet Emergency Clinic for taking good care of my Simba.

Our dog became ill over two weeks ago. She was puking bile and shaky. We took her to a different emergency clinic over the weekend and she was hospitalized. They were only open 24 hours on the weekends so we had to move her back and forth from a vet during the day and back at night. During this time information wasn't shared in regards to her liver health and she was basically given a death sentence and sent home with us. I wanted a second opinion and was given that by Pet Emergencey Clinic Spokane. They reviewed all the information and we have been able to continue antibiotics and been given medicine to make her liver stronger. She eats, drinks, plays and loves just like she always has. And while still on the road to recovery, we've had two weeks and going strong with great hopes for a full recovery. Thankful for this business, their doctors and care team, for a second opinion and treating her case as an individual and not just numbers on a paper. They are also always open 24 hours so in the event anything were to happen and she needed to be hospitalized, she wouldn't need to be moved around and put through that ordeal again. ❤️

My dog was in shock and had his eye punctured. He was not tended and medicated for pain for 2 hours. Would not bring my dog here again. …

Extremely long wait time and disappointing customer service. They admitted other pets that came in after us, before our dog. We were so worried about our dog that after 1 hour 45 minutes wait with no updates, we left and went to another clinic. Short staffed, bad communication and broken intake system. Don’t waste your time here, instead go to Animal Emergency Clinic off Appleway. They saw us in a matter of minutes and were awesome.

Such a rough experience. After taking my 1.5 year old retriever there from violently throwing up all night I was told he would need an X-ray. Willing to do whatever I needed for my dog I paid for the X-ray. An hour later they called to say he has nothing obstructing his stomach or intestines and just to monitor him and feed him a bland diet. There was no record of temperature or I.V. fluid given at any point during the process. His symptoms continued to worsen, so I made an appointment with my vet. I asked the clinic to forward the X-rays and information about MY OWN DOG to ME, and they wouldn’t allow it to be sent to me. They reluctantly sent over the scans and information to my vet. As nothing was getting better and symptoms were worsening even after stool and blood tests came back with nothing, my personal vet decided to do an ultrasound. They were able to quickly pick up on an obstruction in the intestine and went in for surgery. I cannot believe that my dogs suffering could’ve been fixed or helped on Saturday. My personal vet was just as confused as to why they chose to do an X-ray rather than an ultrasound, and how they did not pick up on it in the first place. The hospital called it, “a large amount of poop” when they saw the scan. Work must be reevaluated and done thoroughly. This will be my last time visiting this vet. I heard countless other stories about this hospital from other dog owners after visiting and all of them are so heart breaking.

I never have nor will I ever darken their door. I've called twice this year. Once when I needed to put my old girl to sleep in the middle of the night and then last night when my puppy got into something that really messed her up. For one, they're very expensive. Also, they're rude as all get out on the phone. They don't want to listen to you. All they wanna do is tell you their outrageous fees and their after hours procedures. I ended up going to Emergency Pet Care in Post Falls for both occasions. First of all, they're absolutely wonderful, compassionate people! Secondly, I was able to get in and get my puppy some activated charcoal treatment for less than it would have cost me just to walk into this heartless establishment. I won't ever even bother to call them again! It's worth the drive if you have the time to go to Emergency Pet Care in Post Falls!

Called in first and the guy was so nice and reasonable. When we decided to go in we felt listened to, the wait time was less than an hour, it was clean, and very accommodating. Will definitely come back if necessary.

This place lied to me I had a wild kitten dying and we raced to this place and they said they needed to put it asleep. They said to me over and over you will not be billed. We just need a name in the computer. They said it like 5 times to me. I trusted them completely. They acted so nice . I would not trust them at all. All they wanted was the money. I will never go there and I recommend you don't either

This place is a joke! They only thing this place care about is money not your pet. They have their front end people flirting with the cleaning crew this is not a place to be doing that. When you get told your animal ready and you do all the paper work to get your animal release it should not take 2 extra hour just to bring out animal when they have already been cleared. Last thing when you coned a dog it should not choke them please have the team here get the training it need you can see it very needed.

I tried to get them to look at my minpin she was going into seizures and I informed them that I get 4000 on my card Monday the 1st, but they turned me down said I needed cash, I said she is dying and they said that this was my problem., so they have no empathy for only cash in there pockets. I think in a situation of such extremes they should in any good conscious help in extreme matter such as this.

My kitty had to spend several days at the ER due to a urinary blockage. When I had called and told them my cats symptoms they told me to bring him in right away. So we did, and immediately we were helped. No one wants to see their baby in pain, and knowing he wasn’t coming home with me was extremely emotional. But the ENTIRE staffer handled my emotions with so much grace. Jessica at the front desk was my life savor while I was dealing with this nightmare. I love that the Dr would call me with any new checkups on Greg’s condition and I felt like the staff was always able to answer my questions. Yes, it is expensive to have your animal cared for at an ER clinic but I never felt like they were trying to over charge me for anything. At the end of the day what mattered was that my cat was getting the care and attention that he needed, and he truly did get that with this ER. Greg and I can’t thank the staff enough for all that they did to help us.

I was so afraid my 6 month old puppy was in big trouble. He had a red bulging area in his eye that did not look good and of course I had to read on line and was very concerned he had a partial prolapse of his eye. PEC were so courteous and caring on the phone and told me to bring Jake right in. While I waited I watched the floor get damp mopped probably 5 times and I swear the clinic looks and smells better than the medical clinic I go to! I saw the staff interact SO Compassionately with every dog/cat mom/dad that came in. And to top it off, they whisked Jake back, took a look and gave me the best news. :D I had to take my terrier in 5 years ago after a coyote attack and they took such incredible care of him, saved his life and continued to check in with me for days. I was worried I would have huge bills at Pet ER - and yet they have been extremely reasonable and even generous with f/u both times I have been there We are so blessed to have a loving ER resource for our beloved furry family members. Thank you once again PEC <3

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us right away and did a very thorough exam. The doctors and staff explained everything and made sure we understood it all before we were checked out. The cost was less than I expected it would be for going to an emergency animal hospital. I've had to take my 11 year old Pomeranian to them a couple of times and on both occasions I was very thankful for their compassion and especially their patience during those emergencies when I was so worried and upset.

I would never recommend this veterinarian clinic to anyone! In my opinion They are more concerned with money than actually saving your animal! I was lied to several times shown No compassion or empathy for my dog , me or the stressful situation I was in. I felt like I was in the twilight zone from the awful experience I had from this clinic. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

I will never go back there again!?!?!?! They didn't do much for my little fur baby I have. Let alone this pet owner was going to surrender his 5 month old puppy because he didn't have 1000 dollars to pay for treatment. So what do they do, they send him home with a very sick puppy. Mind you this puppy is 5 months and had parvo. Still too young to be fully vaccinated for that disease. Their mission statement is a complete lie!?!?! They sent that poor puppy home knowing dang well he would not live with out the treatment. They shouldn't have sent him home. They should have kept him and tried to call whoever it was they called at 2am and called them again around 7am or so. But since whoever they called didn't answer the first time they just sent the poor puppy home to die!?!?! And they also didn't tell those around who have puppies that there is a very sick puppy outside. So my puppy was in danger too. Yeah she's fully vaccinated for that deadly disease, but it doesn't make them immune to it. I can't get that poor puppy's sad dying eyes out of my head. At this very moment it is making me cry. I feel so bad for that puppy. And I am very displeased with that place. I will NEVER BE GOING BACK!?!?!?!?!

A pet emergency where you pets go to die in the parking lot. After waiting an 1 1/2 with no word on when our cat would be treated. I called & they said it would be an additional 6 hour wait. Absolutely unacceptable business practice! At least tell the owner so they can make a decision on care! We ended up going to another emergency pet clinic, which was 100% better.
