I brought my cat here to get spayed recently and when I dropped her off, they told me the pick up was at 3 but also, that they would call me when it was time to pick her up. Around 5 rolls around and nobody has called me yet, so I called to ask if she was ready, just to make sure. The woman who answered the phone was so incredibly rude to me. I literally just asked if my cat was ready for pick up and her actual response was “well is it after 3?? Then she’s ready for pick up” in the most snippy, most rude tone that was completely unnecessary. I totally understand that pick up was at 3, I’m pretty sure I’m still allowed to call to make sure and not be completely disrespected about it. She’s 1000% the reason I will not be bringing my cat back here. Also, $220 for a cat spay??? An actual crime. I regret not looking around more but they were the most available. That’s on me.

They will ALWAYS try to upsell you on things you don't need. They look down on home remedies to try to push you to buy from them. Recommend going to literally any other place

Animal clinic of Spokane has been our fur babies primary care since 2018. They are friendly, compassionate, efficient and reasonably priced. They are able to work with our schedule and always able to get us in when we are concerned about an issue. Our ladies and we thank you. If you are looking for a new Vet office this is the one.

I called to try to set up a new client appt and the receptionist was very rude. Will take my business elsewhere.

I can't think of what could've been better about our experience. For his dental cleaning, Chico felt safe and the staff did a fantastic job with him! He (and we!) trusts the folks at Animal Clinic of Spokane, and our favorite veterinarian, Dr. Michor Gentemann, never fails to impress us with his efficiency, attention to detail, and the obvious care he has for his patients. Best wishes to everyone at the clinic - we love you!

It's scary trying to find the right vet for a tiny toy dog, but ACS is where I know my chihuahua and two other dogs will be well cared for!

I have been going to Matt and Luther for almost 20 years for my dogs and cats. Now I see Micor as well. They have always been wonderful. The latest great success is with my basset mix, Maia. We adopted her at age 8 three years ago from a basset rescue. Two years ago, at age 9, she was barely able to put any weight on her left front leg. With her large head and long body and barrel chest, she would not have been around long without the use of both front legs. Matt x-rated her and found the left front leg had been broken at some time and never treated. He prescribed a number of supplements and laser theray. Two years later, she runs, plays and prances around. I am so grateful.

The earliest available appt was 11 days in advance at the 8:00 a.m. slot on October 18th. I made the appointment, making sure I asked that I would be able to come in with my dog. I was told i could and I drive the 12 miles early in the morning only to be told through bait and switch that I will be leaving the dog with the receptionist and not able to watch the Drs style of practice personally. This request of leaving much handling of my dog to a stranger I would have done (and have, like others needed to) during the lack of knowledge we had of covid 19, pre vaccination. But we all realize, general public, that everybody is out getting their groceries and everybody is amongst mixed company in close quarters masked and vaccinated by choice. Anybody pretending that they could close themselves off from everybody at work stating that they always keep more than a 6' distance from others in their personal life is simply hypocritical. I'm vaccinated, I have a 3M mask (greater barrier than accepted surgical mask everyone wears) but none of this was warned to bring with me or negotiated when i made effort to insure that I could come in with my dog. To them "coming in" ulrimately meant staying away from dog in the reception area. Not only have I had enough bad experiences with veterinarians thru California never accepting patients into the room with a dog during exam even prior to covid, citing the dog just gets too excited when the owner is there, but I've also had veterinarians practicing wild techniques that an owner wouldn't be privy too unless observing 1st hand. Ive seen blood draws into a hyperextended neck rather than brachial area on the arm along with erratic movements and sloppy attempts at positioning a dog that I've redirected them from doing.. I've grown to understand that many a vet simply prefers to not have the parents around. Do we entertain that BS with our kids when they go to see the doctor? Strangely there's a whole other rationale in that situation. I am just so bummed out that this clinic participates in such hypocrisy. I could gather so much information just hanging out with one of these vets and how they move about their day outside of work within close range, in closed spaces of other strangers in masks. And they do so because we are no longer in the era of lack of vaccinations and information about concentrated particles. This unecessary practice comes off quite antisocial.

I've known Luther McConnell for many years. The experience and reliability from farm to kennel are above the average in my opinion. The team around him is impressive as well. Very thorough receptionists/schedulers as well as the other vets in their lineup

I was very upset at the fact that I was not told the extra things that would be done to my dog. I went in to get a chip for her and was quoted a price for the chip ONLY, then when I received the bill there was an extra $65 (give it take a few dollars) for an exam I did not ask for, know of or approved!! I don’t think that was right of them to do!! They do not let you go in with the dog, they have you wait in the car while they take the pups into their office. I also took my other puppy there at the same time for her second shot that was needed and a chip. Again, only quoted for that shots and chip and when that bill came out, it showed an additional two charges for two other shots I AGAIN was not told about. How is this okay??

We were all treated very well, and they were excellent with O'Malley! I don't think I've had better care with any clinic. I would give 10 stars for outstanding service. Thank you!

My fiancé took our dog in today to get her rabies vaccine + an exam. After the appointment we realized the invoice said “Canine DHLPP Vacc. free w/exam.” So we called back since Daisy hadn’t received it. They offered to make an appointment for tomorrow however that it would cost 15$. When we asked why the invoice said free they said that their prices changed, that it needed to be updated on the system but hadn’t yet. While I understand they hadn’t gotten around to it, it’s not fair to advertise something to your customers and then take it away. Instead of making the problem right, they chose to get an attitude towards us and say they wouldn’t fulfill their advertised pricing.

I just took my dog in to get an exam and rabies because she was past due. Along with the rabies she was due for her DHLPP vaccine—which in both an email I received from the clinic as well as my invoice said was free with exam. After the appointment and I got home I realized that she wasn’t provided the DHLPP vaccine despite it being free (nobody made me aware it was free—but when I looked on my receipt and went back through reminder emails it said it was) so I called and they refused to provide the vaccine to her for free. Instead it would cost 15$ and used the excuse that it was changed since then since they changed their prices and that if I wanted her to have the vaccine I would have to pay. I would have no issue paying, however when you advertise to me not only in emails but an invoice that was printed today that a vaccine is at no cost with an exam…I expect you to uphold that. Just as if I were to goto Walmart and a TV was incorrectly advertised for 200$ on sale but really it was 600$—THE ADVERTISED PRICE IS WHAT I EXPECT! I am never going here again nor will I ever recommend to anyone.

I've already referred several people to your clinic as I've been 100% satisfied with everyone there. The kindest, most polite, compassionate and knowledgeable staff of any clinic I've taken my pets to

We were literally blown away with the care and staff on our first visit! Professional, kind, and we feel we can trust the care our boy receives here. We feel the care he receives will always be in his best interest rather than the interest of padding wallets. Thank you Dr. G!

I have been taking my cats to the Animal Clinic for years & each experience has been wonderful. The staff & doctors are caring & attentive. They understand that the animals are "Family Members" and they treat them with love and respect. I always feel heard, cared for and respected. The medical care is the BEST. I highly recommend Dr. Michor Gentemann. He has gone above and beyond for us many times and improved the quality of life for my furry loved ones.

Have been going here for around 5yrs now and see Dr Genetmann as or regular Vet for our 2 yorkies and 2 cats. He is very thorough and has kept both our dogs in excellent health considering they have both had abrupt medical scares that could have easily gone wrong.. Our male in particular has had a ton of serious problems from day one and Gentemann has been nothing short of great with all of it. He is efficient, friendly, consistent, and great communicator. I highly recommend and so glad to have him looking after our pets.

We have taken our dog here multiple times before, and it has always been alright. We had an accident today and had to bring her in on an emergency, they were very short with us and just flat out not very nice to the point we were worried on how our dog was gonna be treated. They then charged us on three things they did not pass by us or ask about and was rude and short when I had questions about paying 250$ for them to induce my dog to throw up and Nauseated reducing shot, I was not pleased with my experience. *update The shot that was administered to our dog was supposed to have killed any nauseated feelings my dog should have from the medication before that made her vomit, they released her to us because she had stopped vomiting but as soon as we arrived home she began throwing up. We called and argued the payment, why pay 50$ for something that didn’t work and they began to argue and say the workers informed us of information about the shot that wasn’t actually told to us , really just disappointed with everything they have done today. It’s sad that when we bring our dog to a vet, we really are worried about them and they are like our child, and when you realize you have been bring your pet to a place where they don’t care about that they really are just money hungry it’s leaves a real bad taste in your mouth. I hope no one else has this experience.

We have a variety of animals, an Amazon Parrot, dogs and cats. We have been taking our pets for care at Spokane Animal Clinic since 2013, and have received wonderful care with all of our animals. We live on the South Hill, but drive across town to take our animals there. The quality of care is good, they are professional, reliable and responsive to our pet’s needs.

Honestly, there's no way to top the experiences I've had with ACS. Everybody there has been nothing but amazing, and I'm so appreciative of the wonderful veterinary care my dogs get! I have never had a vet clinic I felt so comfortable with, and ACS makes me feel confident in their care of my animals. They've definitely earned my loyalty, and I tell all my local friends about this clinic. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for compassionate people to take care of their animals!

The entire office is great to work with for both my 11 year old and 1 year old dogs. Very responsive and caring from the front desk staff, to the team that visits and listens carefully to the concerns of our dogs. Each of the providers that I have spoken with have shown knowledge and care towards or dogs well being. Dr. Sara, Dr. Matt, Dr. Luther and Dr. Michor have all been great to work with. Would definitely recommend Animal Clinic of Spokane.

We've been coming here for just over 3 years. They're always flexible in making sure were taken care, even if its last minute care. They're also really good at answering questions over the phone, even if we don't end up needing vet care they still are very thorough. They're also good at suggesting things we can do at home for issues rather then having to pay for stuff. All around they are a great crew!
