Pet Vet Hospital and Wellness Center Spokane Valley, Washington

I was disgusted with the "care" that my dog received at this "Veterinarian"! The Male Veterinarian was cold and immediately recommended surgery on my pup that isn't even full grown! He did not walk me through anything and he was out of the room before I could blink or ask him any questions! A complete joke! Luckily I found a professional who specializes in Giant breeds and told me that my dog DID NOT NEED ANY TYPE OF SURGERY! I'm honestly more than disgusted and I hope anyone who considers this place to read this review first! I believe it to be criminal to have a practice that is pushing unnecessary surgeries on the voiceless! But YA'LL WILL HEAR ME!

Great Veterinary and friendly staff.

I cannot say how amazing my experience has been. I relocated back to the Spokane area a year ago, and upon a family recommendation, I found a vet who ended up closing abruptly with no notice. When my dog became ill and I did not know what to do, I called Pet Vet, and they not only showed concern but got him in right away. From reception to the nurse to the doctor, they took the time to make me feel knowledgeable and taken care of. I highly recommend Pet Vet and am grateful to have found a new home for my pup and me.

Our Vet closed without notice and we were referred by a friend. We have two large breed dogs, they have quite different mannerisms. Previously I felt ashamed of my one pups behavior, he is slow to warm up, EXTREMELY vocal and he ABHORS nail trims. He has never had such a successful visit to the vet. And the lab, well- if you know you know ????.. The entire staff made us ALL feel welcomed! They offered us all the latest and greatest for testing and treatment for things we’d never known about- but without being pushy because we weren’t quite financially prepared for all of the options. I feel so much more confident about the future wellbeing of our animals now that we have this team as partners in their care!

These people are simply amazing.

We are newly moved to the area and our cat somehow injured herself before we had the chance to establish care anywhere. Pet Vet Hospital was able to fit us in the same day and took good care of her. They were very communicative through the process along every step of the visit, including recommended services, reasoning, and pricing. We will definitely be returning. Thank you, even though our cat screamed at you and hid under the sink! Deep down she really loves you

No accountability. Believe staff stole narcs that were for my dog. No f/u from management or accountability for there drug addict staff.

I recently had to put a family member down, she was ready to go and what an amazing experience I had with the staff there at pet vet. The whole process was amazing and extremely respectful for the situation at hand. I can't say in enough words about how they treated me and my dog, simply put.....Amazing!!!!!!! Thank you staff for everything you did for me and my family, truly an amazing experience all the way around. Whomever reads this review please know that they truly do care about the human and animal experience.

I took my kitty, Webster here the other day for surgery. I was really nervous but the team did a great job making sure I was all set up and had all the information I needed. Webster did great and still is. They sent me home with good litter, food, treats, and a toy. I highly recommend thank you.

AMAZING ladies here! I wont go anywhere else!

I accidentally called them asking about flea and tick prescriptions. The receptionist was so informative, and helpful. She made me feel like I was well informed of my options and truly caring for me and my puppy. While I have not gone into their facility or interfaced with the vet, I was quite impressed with their customer service and up front presence. I give 4 stars ONLY because I am not aware of the actual facilities.

20+ years of improving quality and quantity of life for my various pets. I wish my own doctors were as meticulous as Dr. Clark.

Great place to bring my pets!

I can't say enough great things about Pet Vet. My GSD was having some pain in her hips so we tried getting in at our normal vet in Liberty Lake but they were booked solid so we decided to try here as they were just down the street from our new home. Maryann was able to squeeze our dog in for a morning drop off, which meant the world to me. Kelsey (who I believe is a tech) was great with my dog and walked me through everything. BUT, who I am really impressed with, though, is Dr. Shulken, and here's why. I don't typically tell people this because I hate it when people say "I am/was in the business so I know everything" but, I have worked at several Veterinary hospitals for several years in many different positions (receptionist, kennel tech, unlicensed vet tech, impromptu practice manager and finally reception manager) and I can tell you that I have never worked with a vet as thorough as Dr. Shulken. The vets I've worked with are amazing and one is even famous (Dr. Evan Antin) but I have never seen anyone as great as her. She explained everything to me in exhaustive detail, but in words that anyone could understand. I pictured myself as someone who knew absolutely nothing about Veterinary medicine and in listening to her you will learn something.I've never seen another vet do what she did and I'm overwhelmingly impressed. I'm so happy we decided to bring Eva to Pet Vet. Thank you everyone who I've interacted with!

Pet Vet helped us say goodbye to our furbaby with the utmost consideration and compassion. I could not have asked for a more caring team. They made accommodations for us to be outside so we could be with her as she passed since the office is closed to people visitors for Covid-19.

Best place ever for my Babies, Dr. clark & Ragan r the Best

Male vet was not friendly barely even talked to me was rude. I came in because my dog ate a bunch of multivitamins I didn’t know what to do. They charged me $300 to give him a shot to make him throw up. Then a shot for nausea. They told me if he throws up to bring him back in because he should not be sick anymore. On my way out to my car he throws up. So I walk him back in they tell me there’s really nothing they can do and that he didn’t even ingest a toxic amount of vitamins. So there really was no reason to him make him throw up either way he was going to have an upset stomach but the vitamins wouldn’t hurt him. So I pretty much paid $300 for them to actually do nothing for my dog other than make him even more sick. I talked to another vet who said they could have just given him charcoal to throw up and there is an equation to find out if he did eat too much vitamin D he wasn’t even close to a harmful level. Disappointed in this clinic won’t be returning.

The facility is very clean and I never have longer than a 5 minute wait time for scheduled appointments. The staff are really personable, especially the receptionists and vet technicians. They often offer discounted prices on shots, procedures and products if purchased at certain times and I find the care credit payment option extremely helpful. They are willing to price everything out into itemized receipts and discuss treatment plans in detail. I often have to leave for long deployments and the staff work extreamly well with my pet sitter to insure quality care for my two kitties when I'm away. We are so happy to have found a facility of such quality after moving to Spokane last year. Pet Vet will be our family vet for a lifetime and I would reccomend them to anyone.

Very impressed with this place so far! Everyone is so friendly and caring. I've had other vets talk to me like I'm the stupidest person in the world and rush us in and out so fast before I'm able to ask all my questions and with Pet Vet I don't feel that way at all. We feel very welcomed. Their expertise, knowledge and technology seems far superior to other places in town. They also have good hours.

Dr. Clark has provided excellent care for our babies for some time, now, and we have great respect for both him and his staff!

We found Dr. Clark's office after moving to a new home in Spokane Valley. We had another vet in Spokane Valley but had become unsatisfied with what we found to be a pushy and invasive approach to our animals' care (many tests at the first sign of any issues, surgeries, etc). Dr. Clark, and his wonderful staff, were always attentive listeners and respectful of our wishes for all treatment plans. We never felt pushed into unnecessary treatments, and were always afforded an opportunity to review the treatment itself as well as the associated cost(s). What I find to be the most refreshing, is Dr. Clark is more than willing to listen my questions (incessant at times) and then provide detailed information - whether it's an explanation as to the condition the animal is experiencing, or why a specific treatment has been recommended. We may not be veterinarians ourselves, but always advocate for our animals! We recently moved out of the country, which required a battery of tests and vaccinations for our fur babies. Although not immediately familiar with everything required, Dr. Clark, Maryann and Krystal all worked together with my wife and I, as well as the WA state USDA Veterinarian's office, to better understand the regiment required. Pet Vet carefully laid out a treatment plan over the course of several months and administered all required components (with some at-home help from us along the way). The process for bringing a pet into a new country is fairly lengthy and paperwork-heavy, but they ensured we were well prepared for our journey across the world! Since moving to our new home, we've had some very challenging times with our 11 year old Beagle's health. Although no longer a paying patient, Maryann, Krystal and Dr. Clark have taken several calls, reviewed blood work and treatment plans, and provided advice throughout this challenging time. I can't say enough how appreciative we are to have the knowledge and support of these wonderful people in our corner. Look no further, you've found the best care for your animals!!!

These people are wonderful. They take such good care of my cats, and the vet caught a malignant mass on my cat's leg before the cancer spread. It saved my kitty's life! They're friendly and very accommodating.

Best vet I've been to so far!! All of the staff is SO nice! They can get me in even the same day! Their prices are always fair and I feel like they really listen and love my pet as much as I do!
