I can’t say enough about the team (Kate, Zach, and Eli) they are true professionals in every sense and truly care about their dogs and future owners. We have had Nala a few weeks now and she is by far the best dog I have ever owned She is great with kids, smart, social, and a beautiful representation of the breed. I highly recommend getting your GSD from Von Waldberg, also would highly recommend additional training classes above what’s included to get the most out of your dog.

Great advice on how to raise the dogs!

We got our first German Shepherd 7 1/2 years ago from Von Waldenburg when we lived in Washington. That dog, Chewbacca, has been nothing short of the perfect family dog. We live in Texas now and decided to come back to the same place to get another. The customer service is always excellent and the peace of mind that comes with getting a quality German Shepherd is priceless. We'll be back when my youngest son is ready to Lead his first dog.

VonWaldberg, they are amazing! They are caring and loving to all of their dogs. Volunteering is so wonderful. Walking all the dogs is so calming. If you are looking to make a lifetime commitment owning a shepherd, this is the place to go.????????

We recently purchased and picked up our new puppy and couldn't be happier. Before deciding to go with Von Waldberg my wife and I met with multiple breeders and ultimately decided to go with them because of how professional, clean, caring and transparent their business is run. They do not engage in talking negatively about other breeders and trainers, which was a big turn off for us because every other breeder we talked to did this. I cannot begin to recommend them enough and are very happy with our new family member!

I absolutely adore Kate and company. I've been working with her for nearly two years for the perfect puppy. I fell in love with them immediately. Their dogs are well socialized and beautiful imports and some home grown stunners. The perfect breeder who really cares about her dogs, there health and where they're going. I plan on remaining in contact with them as our pup continues to grow and hope to share all the happiness with them. We pick up our girl Monday and I couldn't be happier.

All German Shepherd. I'm buying one. Clean property with a well trained staff. The owner is awesome. Lots of grass and hills for the dogs who speak and are trained in German.

I highly recommend Von Waldberg. Our experience was very good. Kate and Zach are very conscientious breeders and all of their dogs are very well cared for- lots of socializing and personal attention. You can tell that they care for each of the dogs and they take care to match their dogs with the right family. GSDs are a very unique dog with very unique needs and the whole Von Waldberg team goes above and beyond to make sure new owners are prepared for their new family member. Come watch puppy training if you want to see little pups prove just how smart GSDs are!!

I got my Daisy girl from Kim at von walberg's just over a year ago. I have three little boys that are active and precocious. Daisy is the perfect balance of a playful yet calm nature. She has spent the last year navigating our busy and adventurous lives and I couldn't be more proud of her. From hiking in the mountains, to concerts at the ski hill on the winter weekends, to boating and inner tubing in the summer, she takes it all in stride. She adores people, can't get enough of kids, will mostly come when I call, but never runs away. She is everything I could have asked for. She is in perfect health and the vet thinks she is just as amazing as I do. She can get a bit barky when she sees other dogs, she wants to play, but does not bark at humans unless they approach the house in the dark or if she doesn't recognize them. Though it is a warning, not aggressive. Kim promised the best family dog, and she delivered. Thank you.

Von Waldberg has changed my family's life. With as cliché and silly as it might sound, they have given my family a gift that we neither knew we needed or had been missing. On Oct 6, 2017: we welcomed Greta Von Waldberg into my humble little family. From the moment we met her, it was not only love at first sight, but became the day our family became complete. She was a healthy, strong, and intelligent puppy who has grown into a wonderful adolescent German Shepherd. It's not surprising though given how smart and beautiful her Mom and Dad are (Hetty and Messi). From the moment you step on the kennel property, you understand that it's more than just a business. Von Waldberg is a family. It's a family that continues to grow with every pup that is born and every family that the pups chooses. This is most evident with how involved the entire staff is with making sure prospective clients and current owners alike are taken care of. From having each and every concern addressed, to providing top-notch and quality services (i.e. training, boarding, grooming, etc.); Kate and Zach plus the rest of the extremely hardworking staff/volunteers have taken what can be a nerve-wracking and difficult process and made it into a genuinely enjoyable experience. I would wholeheartedly and without hesitation recommend Von Waldberg and their German Shepherds to anyone and will continue to be involved with this amazing organization.

Two generations of dog magic - our Shepherd arrived within months of our daughter and they grew up together. Responsible professional breeders who are conscientious about matching dog to family or job.

The shepherd puppy we bought here had perianal fistulas, a horribly painful condition that recently claimed her life. Perianal fistulas are GENETIC in German Shepherds. Perianal fistulas is a condition where the glands around the anus are continuously infected and erupting puss and blood. And it stinks to high heaven. It is so painful that the dog can not defecate and finally it leads to renal failure. Not only did it cost me $90/month for medications (tacrolimus ointment) but I had to irrigate her anus every morning and apply the medication, which itself was a hell for both of us. Finally I had to put the dog down because the quality of life had dropped to zero.

In June of 2015 we returned our GS due to heart murmur, it sounded like a river it was so loud, We had the puppy examined the same day and our vet told us to return the pup right away as the little girl would not live very long. It was a difficult thing for us to do and started a road of issues. We finally was able to return her for another pup which is 3 now. She had intestinal parasites which was very expensive to treat, on going health issues and no support from the breeders.

By far, the best place around. Our 1 year old German Shepherd has made huge strides from their training program. <3

We have had a great experience working with Phil and Kimberly. They are kind and reply promptly when contacted. We had the pleasure of purchasing our pup 2 years ago from them and have been so thankful we did. She is such a wonderful dog with a fantastic temperament. Her coat is beautiful and the vet said her hips were "Gorgeous" :). We are so happy with our experience!

My experience with Von Waldberg German Shepherds could not be better. We visited the facility before purchasing our dog Stella. Phil and Kim gave us an extensive tour and answered all questions my husband and I had thoroughly. They reccomended a couple of books to read to preparebus for getting our pupoy. Once we had decided on the litter we wanted we got regular updates on the pups once they were born. I especially appreciated the weekly pictures as the pups got big enough to come home. When we went out to pick our dog we were given plenty of time to play with all the puppies and when we asked which pup they recommended, Kim gave a thorough explanation as to why she thought we should take the pup we ended up choosing. Stella has been an absolute joy. We enrolled in the Von Waldberg obedience classes when she was 12 weeks old. We love going to puppy classes and working with Kim and her husband. She asks for any questions the families have and again, provides thorough answers and explanations. If you follow all the advice they give you will have an incredibly well behaved dog. Stella is 5 months old and has graduated to the adult obedience class. She is the perfect family pet!
