The staff at Canine Experience have been so helpful! They have worked extensively with our dog, who has extreme separation anxiety. We are thankful for their willingness to train and board Daisy and highly recommend their services!

Our 6 month old Golden Retriever stayed 3 weeks for a board and train session. I was of course, worried how he would do. When we picked him up he had definitely learned his manners (he really needed some). The true test was when we went back for a follow up training session. He was so very excited and happy to be there again. That was the true test — that he was happy to be back.

Very easy intake process for boarding. We set up just a week or two before a trip. Nancy is very responsive and easy to reach by phone. Biggest strength is peace of mind. I didn't worry about my dog on vacation because I knew he was safe and secure. Sometimes using a dog sitter you never know for sure if your dog is mixed in with others and how they'll get along. Plus all the horror stories of people losing their pets using services like Rover! Only downside for me was distance and pickup times. I live in Seattle so it's about a 40 minute drive one way and was a little tough to coordinate getting there in the pickup window.

We have sent many clients and foster dogs to A Canine Experience and have had amazing results. The biggest reason I love them is they know what they are doing, and they are not scared of dogs or breeds. I know that sounds silly but not all trainers can train difficult behavioral issues. They have 3 generation of trainers, the consistently are adding more education to their plate. They write books. They investigate all methods learn and take those tools and train for the individual dog. They have fun with the dogs. They are honest, funny, professional and committed to turning dogs around and they are there for you when the program ends. I have endless success stories.

We boarded my dog Topper 9/1 -9/5, this has been at least the 4th time in several yrs. He was very healthy & happy. Nancy is awesome, she is very accommodating, professional, & has great experience with dogs. I had to board Topper at ANOTHER kennel in the past due to limited vacancies & was upset with Topper's cuts and how sore he was when we played with him. I fully trust A Canine Experience, they are clean, honest & professional. I will always board him here.

I had an evaluation appointment today at A Canine Experience. I was very impressed with the technique Trina taught me for how to teach my dog to walk better on a leash. She explained to me the reasoning behind her technique, and the various skills it teaches the dog. Her knowledge of dogs and how they learn was quite apparent through what she explained and showed me. I’m really excited to bring my dog back here, and to practice the walking technique with him! Also, Trina was really nice and I enjoyed working with her!

Love this place. Tried this place for the first time this summer. They went above and beyond for our senior mini dachshund. She was loved on like she was their own. Awesome experience. Immediately scheduled for our next trip.

We did a "Meet & Greet" with Shadow to see if she would be a good candidate for the day training program. I was impressed at how diligent the staff was in determining if this training would be suitable. We will be starting in July, going 3 days a week for 4 weeks. For me this is better than having her gone for a long board and train program. I've been made familiar with how they work with the dogs, and have read the book. Now I'm looking forward to getting the training started and having Shadow a little less rambunctious.

A canine experience has taken great care of my small dog Abbie over the years. They take and return calls quickly, and we're accommodating when my plans changed. My dog always comes out happy.

Acanine experience is the best place. My dogs and I are absolutely 100% satisfied when training there and taking the training home. The trainers take it step by step and are the most helpful in every way possible. I went through obedience training and ATM4K9s and now going through CGC testing to get my male to be registered as a service dog. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. All of employees at acanine experience are wonderful and I am grateful to receive training from them!! Sincerely Josie Griffis

A fantastic place for your pet to stay while you're away! Lots of room to run and play with others and attentive care by the staff.

I guess I would recommend A Canine Experience because I can see that they know, love and understand dogs. However, I was disappointed in the initial evaluation. I was told to turn in my paperwork early so that time in the evaluation would not be spent on reading my paperwork. But then the evaluator spent the first 15-20 minutes (of the 60 minute session) reading my paperwork while my dog and I sat in the office and waited! Then her first question was what program was I interested in. I thought that was what the evaluation was to help figure out. She did end up giving me some tips with my dog (who happened to be more well behaved than normal) and the book (both of which are very helpful) but for $100, I really feel I should have gotten more specific information and demonstration on how to work with my dog and address the concerns that I was having. So at this point, I am not sure if I will return or not. I will plan to finish reading the book and see how that goes. Thanks

Our new puppy is very strong willed and I have been worried about his ability to be trained. Thanks to Lauren, I feel much better about our puppy and our ability to integrate him into our family. Thank you!

We took our sweet but headstrong Corgi in for assistance with walking in the leash, and some other commands - stay, off. Andrea asked very good questions about our dog to get to know her and our style and concerns. Andrea and her team were knowledgeable and helpful. The leash training was wonderful. We learned a lot and had a bunch of take-aways that we will put to good use. Thank you very much!

We had our evaluation and a short lesson yesterday. I was so impressed with their knowledge and procedures in place. I learned a lot and can't wait to go back for private lessons and group classes.

Lauren came for an in home session for our puppy who had not completed his shots. He needed some behavior modifications and she was great with showing us how to handle the situation. We have been practicing what we learned and our puppy and being consistent and can already see a bit of a difference on just one day.

I am so thankful to have found ACE! The trainers are very knowledgeable and experienced and a joy to work with. They create training plans specific for your dog and have lots of ideas for when you have challenges. My pup is in service dog training and is making amazing progress!

Had our lab there a week. Picked her up and they knew who she was and commented how she had been. The place in the kennel is clean , no smell, and well lite. She was happy to see us and acted like her self. Great job canine experience !

We have a 3.5 year old GSD working line that we’ve had since he was about 1.5yo. He initially struggled with reactivity with smaller dogs and general lack of obedience, which got worse after to moving to a big city. ACE are LIFESAVERS!!! Real results, REAL fast. We have worked with Autumn and Andrea and they are both amazing. Lauren’s helped a little bit as well. Every single session brings actual, lasting results in our little buddy. And we learn so much as well! We love them so much, we now actually drive nearly nearly an hour to board with them when we leave town. We’re probably driving past several dozen boarding places but we just don’t care; our little buddy always leaves so happy and healthy that it’s worth our time. Literally struggling for words to describe how pleased and happy we are. Can’t say enough good things. Just call/email ACE. Forget about the others. No offense to any other training/boarding place.

ACE has been valuable In training Isa. She was a rescue that wasn’t confident and somewhat submissive. The time Lauren, Andrea, Trina and Autumn have spent with her has been remarkable. They are caring, kind and base the lesson on the dog’s situation and your goals. Isa is so excited every time we pull in to the place and is definitely “worked” when she is there.

Such a bad experience during intake. I decided not to take my dog there after it. Just super unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable.
