Brought my 12 year old can in fro treatment. Her thyroid condition was considered quite aggressive and as a result her treatment period was quite long. The staff kept me up to date daily on her progress and were very positive and assuring. When I brought my cat home she was happy. . hungry and healthier than I'd seen in months. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

This is the second cat that I've had to bring to them, and my first experience was all that could be hoped for in terms of the treatment working, and in how they cared for Mr G about three years ago. I have no doubt this experience will be as positive as that one was. And I also felt like it was the best treatment for a hyperthyroid feline. And Dr Vaughn was very patient in explaining various options so that I felt confident in the treatment. If your feline friend is suffering from hyperthyroidism this is an excellent choice!

My cat had an eight day stay. I can't say enough about the care she received. I would highly recommend this place and treatment to those of you on the fence about treatment of your cat. I did try the cream. In a few month's my cat was worse. She had lost a lot of weight...She just had her first month check up. She's gain a lb and her thyroid is a 1.9. Which is great news❤

It's been one year since Bella went through her procedure. It was touch and go for a a couple of days, but Faythe and her team were able to work their magic/skills to keep Bella alive. Thanks for your communication and expertise during her visit. One year later, Bella and owner are happy and appreciate you all very much. Thanks for all your do!

This clinic understands cats and cat owners. They know it's stressful for the cat and the human, and they do a great job to relieve the stress with their friendly demeanor. The cost is very reasonable--below what some of our research indicates. Radioactive Iodine is a no brainier for any cat owner who's car has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, even if your cat takes pills like a champ and lets your vet draw their blood regularly. While methimazole is inexpensive, the regular blood work isn't. I'm so glad the Shoreline Hyperthyroid cat clinic was able to schedule us only a few weeks out. We just reached the 2 week mark so we can snuggle with our darling again. Her fur is so much softer now that her hormones are balanced and she's not producing excess oil on her skin and fur. My only regret is not getting her tested for hyperthyroidism earlier in her life. Thank you team for guiding us through radioactive iodine treatment for our cat, and for taking COVID and radiation safety seriously.

The staff are kind, helpful, and very informative; they are a pleasure to work with! The morning update phone calls are a wonderful thing this clinic does, for us, the pet parents. Update: we were able to pick him up 24 hours later! We lucked out, big time. And, based on his meaty chin, it looks like he enjoyed a nice breakfast. The staff said he was an absolute sweetheart, and he clearly enjoyed his time with them. If I could give 10 stars, out of 5, I would. ????

Friendly, happy & helpful staff who clearly understand that cats rule and that we, their merely mortal humans, worry tremendously about them.

They are very personable, professional, and knowledgable about their very specialized practice. If you have a cat with thyroid issues, I highly recommend this clinic.

My family has had Lila since she was a kitten. She is turning 15 in October, I was only 10 when we got her. I moved away as an adult for a few years and when I came back the poor thing was neglected and emaciated. She had been severely underfed and had not been taken to the vet in years. It was clear to me that she was quickly fading and would waste away if not given the proper attention. I took her under my care and had her checked out. It turned out she had one of the most severe cases of feline hyperthyroidism my vet had ever seen. She was only 4lbs at that time; less than half of what she would weigh if she were healthy. Because all of Lila's other organs were functioning perfectly my vet recommended a permanent fix as opposed to expensive food or medication, and referred me to the feline hyperthyroid treatment center in shoreline. I was skeptical at first because of the pricing but after doing my research decided to put everything I had into this. I still didn't have enough, but thanks to the kindness of strangers on GoFundMe was able to come up with the cash. At the consultation the staff and doctors were very kind and informative. I felt very comfortable leaving my friend in their care. Lila was at the treatment center for 11 days, and a staff member called me every day to let me know how she was doing. In the following months she gained weight and her vitality returned. At her final bloodwork post op it was clear: the treatment worked 100%. She is now 9lbs and is very muscular. She does not act like a 15 year old cat and her vet says she could live for many years to come. Thank you Feline Hyperthyroid Treatment Center! Lila has been living with me ever since and is a very happy cat. I am always shocked how dense and heavy she is when I pick her up. She is also very playful and strong now. It's like having a kitten around the house again :) You're doing the lord's work. Keep it up!

Pretty much the only place in North Seattle specializing in radiation therapy for hyperthyroidism in felines, but they also know what they're doing.

This is cats exclusive veterinary clinic. They are great! They always treat me and my cats very well. I feel like family here and my cats are always very calm and relaxed in this clinic. The doctors are very well versed with my breed which is not a standard breed. I have to Norwegian forest cats, which have some unique standards. Its nice going to a place that knows.

Splendid place. Don't pay attention to maps, & do a U-turn. You can enter from the street on the side. People here are great! Obviously for cats. Medical, toys, hyperthyroid stuff. Give you a daily update call, which is most cool of them. Very clear on what they're doing. Pricey as all heck, but life can be.
