It took a couple of weeks to get an appointment. The staff were efficient and friendly. The Vet was very knowledgable and followed through for obtaining medication for our Beagle.

I just called to get pricing and information for new clients. I wanted to compare prices and make sure that my cat had the best care possible but when I asked about other veterinarians in the area, I was hung up on. Very unprofessional.

You cannot find a more caring Vet and staff. They really love the animals and they treat them like their own.

The man that just answered the phone hung up on me. He said they don't have any open appointments and he couldn't give me assistance on where to go. The rudest thing, I've ever seen!!! I'm new to the area and this is by far the worse area for anything.

Best vet for dogs. They are fast, helpful, and extremely friendly. They cost a little bit on the higher side, but is 100% worth the extra dollar or two.

My cat loves his vet and her staff. He only likes women but more than that, she saved his life.

Great reviews. Due to limitations of staff and space they are at capacity. Wait list available for new clients.

They're always so nice. It was cute the way the technician said "I'll be out to borrow Mitzy"

First, I was impressed immediately with the welcome Gracie (my pet) and I received as we approached the door to enter. The continuing care and professional display of interest in our travel over as it weather wise was a harsh day. The ease of which everything was explained to me while at the same time addressing Gracie with loving affection and putting her her at ease. Each member of the staff was courteous and open to any questions I had. Paperwork was explained in detail and care of Gracie was excellent and this means a lot to me and Gracie as she has anxiety and after making a drive of 72 miles to get there she was a little stressed. The caring calm manner in which each staff member attended her set her at ease and they soon had her eating out of their hands. Examination, blood draw and inspection of the area of concern again attended to in a highly professional manner with details of what to expect for treatment and options thoroughly presented to me. I am very happy with our decision to have her care be addressed and performed by HRVH. I would easily recommend this hospital to anyone that loves their family member like I love my Gracie to seek them out to care for your best friend.

Our three kitties, Buddy, Daisy, and Stella are our life. Today, was another best clinic visit. She and her staff have been taking care of them since they were under 6 months old. They were dropped off at OPHS probably around 5 weeks old and went into foster care (Carla Field).... they were taken care of very well and we passed the adoption process. Dr. Patricia made sure of their kitten care and they were neutered and spayed. Then they were seen by Dr. Tony Jensen. It's been the best adventure of our life and we hope their life. The quality of care and LOVE that is provided by Hurricane Ridge Veterinary can't be measured by simple numbers, it's the HEART and SOUL of their effort. Patti and Dave Mower and our kitties

It’s difficult for me to see these rave reviews after how my precious 18 year old cat and I were treated last August 6th. Mind you, I had been bringing my 3 dogs and cat to see Dr. Jensen a little over 2 years. I too was impressed by her super sweet demeanor, persona, and seemingly caring professionalism all that time . . . HOWEVER: In the middle of the early morning, my cat had a HORRIFICALLY, loud and explosive vomiting episode. I tried to tend to him, but he immediately wanted to go to his “hiding place.” I left him alone in my closed bedroom, but checked in on him mid-morning. I found him in a completely different hiding spot. Long story short, he was absolutely lethargic, unresponsive to my attention (he was a LOVER boy!), and his respiration rate was way above normal. It obviously was time to put him out of his misery . . . So I called explaining the dire circumstances and my distress—only to be told I had to wait 2 days for an appointment! I reiterated how my cat was suffering—then told I could come in later that day but as an emergency fee of $375! I was SHOCKED. I opted to try another vet, (who had NEVER seen my cat!) and they thankfully said come in right away. Within 20 minutes, my cat was peacefully put out of his suffering . . . The charge—$175 INCLUDING cremation fees!!!!!

About a year ago we switched to Hurricane Ridge Vet Hospital from another vet clinic in town. Our old beagle was starting to decline and when various things popped up, he needed to be seen sooner than our previous vet could get him in; which was about a 2-week waiting period for an appointment. When we called Hurricane Ridge to initiate the change, they could see us that exact same day! I must say that that remained true for the last 12 months of our beagle’s life. They were always, always, always able to see him within a day. Dr. Borg managed his back pain so well for him and made him comfortable so that he could enjoy life and his walks. We also made a few after-hours calls over the past year and the on-call vet was always incredibly responsive. Last month when our boy let us know that it was his time to go, Dr. Borg was out of town. Nevertheless, Dr. Jensen knew exactly who we were when we brought him in to be put down. Before Dr. Borg had left for his time off, he let Dr. Jensen know about our case. Dr. Jensen actually cried with my husband and I when our boy was passing over the Rainbow Bridge. That really touched us deeply. But the continuity of care for our beagle between the 2 vets there was incredible! We have since switched our other dog and cat over to Hurricane Ridge as well because we are so satisfied with their practice. Top to bottom, they are all top notch; from Kayla, the receptionist, to the vet techs, to Dr. Borg and Dr. Jensen. We have our complete trust in the clinic staff as a whole that our fur babies will always be well taken care of when they go there.

I had to lay my kitty to rest after 18 years with me. They made the experience as good as could possibly be expected. They were very compassionate, and my little buddy had a few minutes free of pain before he left us.
