Dog City is wonderful - the people are friendly, drop off/pick up is easy and my pup always comes home tired!

Bella and Bignetten are large dogs and unruly at times. DogCity immediately put me at ease with their professionalism and friendly customer service. Grooming was thorough, and the dogs looked terrific. If the continuous line of people is any indication, I'm not the only one that knows this is a great place. I highly recommend DogCity!

I had a great experience the first time I took my pup here. But the second and third times he came home with a cut on his belly. I thought maybe the first time was a fluke, but when it happened again so I don’t know what’s up with that. He’s a mini-Aussie, so not a huge dog, and usually pretty docile so I’m not sure what was going on. I also heard folks screaming at the dogs in the daycare the last few times I was there...not a very peaceful energy...

It's shocking how disrespectful the older angry blonde woman at the front desk is. Look elsewhere.

They really care for your pup and watch after them. They work with you on any behavioral issues your dog might be having and let you know how they did during their visit. Two paws up!

So so blessed to have Dog City be a part of our family! They have loved my girl so well and that is really special support! Ayla comes home tired, happy and satisfied after a full day of playing! Their grooming is also amazing! They were even able to trim Ayla’s nails when no one else could because she hated it so much! Love love love you all!

Folks at check in were frazzled. Took my dog and didn’t mention anything about their process or where he’ll be staying or anything really. When I came back to grab him after temperament test, I asked if I could see where he is staying or what it looks like back there and lady said “that’s a hell no” Lol I had to ask why 3x to get an explanation. This place has potential but needs some leadership to clean up their processes and check in. I won’t be keeping my dog here, lack confidence in their capability.

They know how to groom long haired dogs like my aussie and he comes home smelling great and so soft for days. Great service.

Great grooming for my difficult dog

We used them for dog grooming services for 1.5 years but in end we needed to change because they were just not professional in how they do business. They are great with our dog and they did a great job with the actual grooming, but over the span of 1.5 years I had multiple scheduling mix ups (their fault) and issues come up with documentation (we provided vaccination documents multiple times even though it was within the same vaccination period 2019 to 2020). The last straw was this past time they requested vaccination during my dogs grooming session. I called to check that a) my dog can still get groomed since I just had dropped him off and b) do they required any other documentation that I haven't already provided (since I have an email history of sending them this multiple times in the past 10 months, in which my dogs vaccination status hadn't changed). In this call the receptionist cut me off and then stated "I don't appreciate when people talk to me like that"...when all I was doing was clarifying why I was calling, not meaning to sound angry or disgruntled. In the end I told her to cancel my appointment and went to pick up my dog. While I was there, it didn't help that she made a point to heatedly let me know she gave my dog a bath but that there is no charge. Like what the actual heck? Anyways, dog grooming is a commodity so if you don't treat your customers well, they will go elsewhere. End of story.

I have a 40lb Australian Shepherd who I had never taken to be professionally groomed. He was definitely due for a good cut, wash, and teeth brushing. He also had some matted hair that needed to be taken care of. I was fortunate to find an appointment available with 2 weeks on a short notice which I was very pleased about. As a new customer, my dog had to pass a behavior evaluation which made me a little nervous since my dog is very high strung and does need some social skill work but very understanding as there are other dogs in their care as well. Though he did not pass the evaluation, the groomer was able to perform all of the required work. After his cut, he was placed in a secure area. My boy came back smelling good, beautiful, no matts, white teeth, and oh so soft. The groomer also helped me figure out what the best package would be in order to get all of the work done. Can't wait to take him back and in the mean time, get my boy some daycare days. TLDR: This location worked with me, was clean, prompt, and understanding. Worth every penny and some. Thanks again for working with me and returning my boy looking like a show dog! Laidback Luke had a great time at bark in the park.

Clean amazing place for dogs

DogCity is the crème de la crème of doggy daycare and K9 grooming services in Seattle. Having had issues with doggy daycares in the past, I was hesitant to bring my pups at first. However, I quickly realized how much the owner, Jan, and her staff really care about the fluff-babies that they are charged to care for. Every time I bring my pups in for daycare or grooms, they are so relaxed after. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after my dogs.

I was visiting my sister from out of town with my two huskies. After a few wet hikes they were in dire need of grooming. We found Dog City and Kim did and AMAZING job on my dogs. I would highly recommend them as they did an awesome job!

I am a regular patron of the great Dog City in West Seattle! Kobe, my 13 year old Shih tzu, adores the brilliant precision grooming of Kim, who has tended to his grooming needs for more than a decade. Kim is blessed with the rare combination of talent, experience, personality and a keen eye for a great dog hairstyle. I live down on Alki where Kobe is well known around the neighborhood by his signature white Pom Pom tail that Kim sculpts, lol. I guess the best feeling i have is the confidence in Kim and the crew at Dog City, knowing consistent care and genuine kindness is the heart and soul of their establishment.
