Banfield Pet Hospital Seattle, Washington

I have used Banfield many times in the past. They have always taken excellent care of my pets. Very professional, and I know the service my animals get is top notch. BUT they are really expensive! When I know how much certain things cost because I've bought it, used it, ordered it, in the past, or maybe through a different vet, it just kills me that they charge as much as they do!

We had to say goodbye to our sweet old kitty yesterday. Dr. Byrd and all other staff members were so caring and compassionate to him and to us during the whole process. Their kindness really helped us out during a very tough day. I highly recommend this vet.

I've had a great experience with banfield pet hospital on Capitol hill. They're really great with my 5 month old puppy.

Canceled on me two days before my international flight. I had booked appointment multiple weeks in advance and even called the day before to confirm. When asked to reschedule, they give me something one month out, this wasn’t at all helpful. When I asked for some accountability in this situation, they just hung up on me. You do not want your veterinary hospital to hang up on you when your dog is in need and the hospital is canceling on same day

The staff here are super nice and helpful and I feel like they genuinely care about my pet. I’ve been to 3 different Banfield pet hospitals back in Maryland and none of them have been as great as this one.

I am generally not a fan of vet chains, but I’ve been very pleasantly surprised by this Banfield location so far. The office staff answer the phones quickly and are always kind and helpful. The vet tech is great, and I really appreciate the vets personally calling me with exam results. They’re very accommodating and upfront about costs, which I know is important for a lot of people. I’m super glad I gave this place a try because I’ve been desperate to find a new vet! I have 2 dogs and a cat who will definitely be coming here from now on. (Also, they laugh at my jokes. Not a selling point but it’s still nice.)

I rescued a dog and took him to Banfield they hook my dog up with all shots needed to be a legal dog and to live peacefully in a nice apartment my dog has an appointment future his Wellness Plan awesome that they have this plan for my animal

We got our puppy in July and had heard from many friends Banfield is the way to go BUT also had heard it is NOT the way to go as everyone has had such wishy washy experiences. We decided to give it a try as their wellness plan is perfect for puppies and is reasonably priced and covers everything she needs. I checked out every Banfield and their reviews in the entire seattle area. I was told by many people not to go to the bellevue location and alas their reviews were aligned with that. We live on Mercer island and drive to this loc on Broadway when the Bellevue & issaquah location are much closer. We have had an amazing experience at this location with their front desk staff and doctors. I would recommend this loc but can’t speak to other locations.

My three aged pets get excellent care at Banfield, especially the one on Capitol Hill. Dr. Byrd, and her team, go above and beyond every time I bring a pet in for care.

My dog Ollie was seen by Dr. McBroom today. She is thorough and kind. We will return here in the future. Ollie has always been cared for by Banfield. Excellent vets in California and here. Thank you for taking care of my baby Ollie.

I went to Banfield for the first time while dog sitting a great pyrenees. The staff was amazing! He had been a difficult patient and they were so understanding. We were sent home with a prescription for trazadone. When we returned for his next appointment Alex was so excited to see him. They only want the best for their patients.

The staff are so friendly and caring. They remembered my puppy’s name both over the phone and in person. Sadly, you can’t go in the exam room with the vet, but they come out and discuss everything with you in the waiting room. They stagger the drop off and have only one person at a time in the waiting room. Fully masked staff and covid protocols are being followed. What a great first visit with my puppy and they were so fast getting her records in and taking good care of her. I had a 1:30p appointment and I was done within the next hour. I highly recommend their wellness plan for puppies - it’s a great overall value!

They basically called me asking where is my dog I freaked out since I dropped him off almost 3 hours prior. They found him but not fun

They helped our pup when no one else could get him in on a Saturday with no prior appointment. Thank you!

Friendly and covid safe! During covid, you call when you arrive and they will pick up your furry friend. Location is upstairs (enter lot through Harvard Ave). Parking validation available. My dog was pumped going in and coming out for his vaccine. Always a good sign! Dog bags are also available outside, yay!

This is the 3rd Banfield location that I’ve taken my pets to and I have been beyond pleased with every one - but especially this one. Dr. McBroom is very compassionate and you can tell she actually cares about the health of your pets. She went above and beyond to communicate the results of my cat’s health exam and next steps. The reception staff and vet techs are also very sweet helpful. Highly recommend!

Impossible to get ahold of anyone if you call even if you have an appointment already scheduled and just need info on drop off procedures. It’s not even on the website or an option on the automated system. Finding a new vet.

Excellent service and show love to my pet. Parking is easy. They called when it was time to pick up my Herbie. Very good.

Warning! Don’t do your dog’s dental cleaning here. I had my two dogs dental cleaning a month ago, and their gum condition is getting bad. I have no Idea what they did to my dogs. So disappointed service and the quality!!!!

This is an affordable place with friendly and compassionate staff. Hands down one of the best vet clinics I've ever been to. They take the time to listen to your concerns and did an amazing job taking care of my 10 month old pup. Thank you guys for the great work you do!

I find their services to be too high, and uncompassionate. I wouldn't recommend getting trapped in one of their wellness plans.

Had an appointment scheduled for 11:30 am and was just able to get my dog back 3.5 hours later at 3pm when all he needed were 2 standard vaccinations. In my mind, when I schedule an appointment at 11:30 that means my dog is being treated at 11:30, not that my dog will be shut in a kennel for 3 hours before getting his vaccinations. My dog is extremely anxious, scared and reactive around other dogs or at the vet and often cries and screeches in these situations so as you can image my dog being taken from me at the door and then shut in a kennel in that environment is just about my worst nightmare. Not to mention that this was totally unnecessary when he could have spent those 3 hours at home with me or even with me in the car outside if they weren't ready to accommodate him. What's worse is that this doesn't seem to be a scheduling fluke but instead baked into their "drop off process." Absolutely horrific and we won't be coming back to a Banfield location

The whole staff has been really understanding and helpful at this location. The pandemic has hit all our budgets and Banfield has been very understanding and professional in regards to my billing issues and managing my wellness account.everyone is great but the one person that stands out the most is Logan. Professional, understanding and genuinely caring when it comes to any issue at the clinic. His positive attitude is contagious and much needed in these stressful times. There should be more people like Logan when it comes to being a well spoken leader and this man deserves a raise and promotion! Thank you again for taking care of my pup! And again, good job Logan keep up the awesome work!

Very professional. My cat had a problem they took care of it in a timely manner. My cat was no worse for wear. I would recommend this place again, and again.
