They have always taken great care of my cats. From helping me say goodbye to one a few years back to helping me care for my current middle aged cat, they are kind, friendly, and reasonable.

They know Greg (my dog) very well. I trust them and they treat us like family

This is a really great local vet. They take such good care of all the animals and give great advice on how we can look after our dog. Really appreciate their great service and follow ups. Never any problems finding parking in the lot at the front. Next door are some good cafe and food options if you have a bit of a wait.

All of the staff and doctors were very sensitive and supportive of us during the end of life visit for our cat.

Nice staff, never a long wait. Costs are a little high for some things (like tooth cleaning), but that's ok.

Took our cat in for a check up. We were charged 64$ to get his BLOOD PRESSURE taken, 160$ for blood work, 15$ for disposing of his needle, 74$ for the urinalysis, and 90$ for a new pet fee. None of this was stated beforehand, they just did it without asking prior. They were also 20 minutes late for our appointment, and the appointment lasted 45 minutes longer than stated. We were extremely disappointed and feel cheated by this place.

They took great care of our fur baby and he was good as new a few hours later! The employees are friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking at their convenient location!

After 10+ years bringing our animals here. I can not speak highly enough about the care and kindness we receive. I was very impressed this time by BAH's covid safety protocols too. Sam is our favorite Vet tech for her wisdom, compassion and skill in caring for our pups over the years, and all thr staff and Vets are wonderful. Thank you !

Really fond of all the vets here and the level of care my pets have received. I live in Des Moines, WA and make the drive to bring my dog here.

Dr. Berry is incredibly kind, thorough, and responsive. The whole staff shows not only compassion but also attention to detail. In over 30 years of pet ownership, Ballard Animal Hospital is the best veterinary clinic in my experience.

Very friendly staff, appointment was quick and efficient, they laid everything out for me clearly and were completely upfront.

Dr. Howe and the entire staff here are amazing. They listened to my concerns about my dog's health and took it seriously, and suggested the necessary tests and procedures to rule out any major issues. They also checked in before running any tests so I didn't have any surprise costs. Once the tests were complete over the following days I got prompt updates with the results. They clearly love animals and make me feel like my dog is in good hands.

I have an extremely anxious dog who responds to stress with biting, yelping, and trying as hard as he can to escape. He’s wary of strangers and visiting the animal hospital is always a super stressful experience for him, and for me! Everyone at Ballard Animal Hospital is incredibly kind, gentle, patient, and willing to find creative solutions to make our visit a little less of a nightmare. Special shout-out to Dr. Nate for keeping his calm and confident demeanor when my dog is losing his mind, and to the admin folks (Deb?!) for always being so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

This is a smallish office with a few different working out of it. It is pretty to get an appointment and the staff is nice.

I recently came home with a new puppy on May 30th. I had an appointment at Ballard Animal Hospital on June 1st. A fecal sample was collected for testing during this appointment. The next morning (June 2nd) I had a missed call from Ballard Animal Hospital. I called them back about 2 hours later, and asked them what it was for, and they didn't mention any results of the fecal sample. Today is June 15th, and I just received a phone call from Ballard Animal Hospital informing me that my puppy has Giardia in his fecal sample. I asked why they are telling me this now. They said that they called me on June 2nd to let me know and they are following up on it now. Excuse me???? This was never discussed or mentioned to me. How did it take 2 weeks for them to follow up on test results? Extreme negligence. I am so disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere. DO NOT TRUST THIS VET WITH YOUR PET.

They are the best in every way!! Thanks for taking care of all our fur babies. We have been with you for over 30 years and 4 dogs. Thank you.
