My babies love going to Alex. He's the only one who has been able to groom one of them when others refused saying she's fiesty. You'll never go wrong with Alex.

Alex can dole out some tough love if you haven't been properly caring for your kitty's coat but he'll always put your cat first and will help get you both back on the right track. Absolute professional and very skilled. Customer for life.

Had my 18 year old cat (with chronic kidney disease and sore hips/joints) groomed yesterday, first time grooming. Alex was patient with my questions and with my squirmy cat. He asked what I had in mind and made suggestions for that as well as for her comfort through and after grooming. (For example, combing out mats on her belly to preserve more fur length would hurt a lot, but shaving/clippering them out would hurt less and make it easier to keep up with at home). This grooming was all about my kitty's comfort and cleanliness in her twilight years. She is feeling the difference after the grooming and is even moving a bit better / smoother today. She wasn't trying to escape or fearful when I picked her up at the end of her grooming, and while Alex was using standard controls, such as scruffing and a muzzle briefly at one point (and I know she can get very feisty if not happy) I never saw any frustrated or rough treatment of my furbaby and she seemed pretty chill and relaxed as long as the tools of the trade weren't making noise or messing with her. (She wasn't thrilled with the clippers and dryer, but I don't find that at all unexpected). I highly recommend Alex the Cat Groomer - not only because it's rare to find a cats only groomer, but because it was pretty clear even in one visit that he has skills at cat grooming, and truly cares about kitty's comfort and wellbeing and doing right by their needs.

Alex always does a marvelous job with our cat, Sarabi. We usually get a lion cut for her and definitely the paw pad fur trim. ????

My cat hissed alot, but doesn't seems to bother Alex at all. When pick my cat up with the lion cut, she smelled so good. She was still in a bad mood, but not because of the experience, just because she wasn't used to see ppl. I love how Alex trim the nail, it is so smooth, and I know no force is used, as my cat wasn't alert when I tried to touch her paw.

Alex is SO good at what he does that when we brought our groomed cat home, our other cat tried to attack him because she didn't recognize her own brother! ????This wasn't even a lion cut or anything too different, just a bath and a trim. He's de-matted, and much happier / healthier / prettier. And I'm glad to report that our other cat finally realized who he was and has stopped trying to murder him. ????

Alex is such a nice guy. I can tell that he does his work from the heart and he loves and cares about cats. He is so talented too. The cats love him. He was able to clip my cats nails in minutes only. He was amazing.

Alex has always done a fantastic job. He is a real cat whisperer. He is usually booked way in advance so I make a point to always have the next appointment booked!

Alex does a wonderful job with our fur baby. I recommend him for your grooming needs. We will definitely be returning!

Do not know what to think of this yet since prices online say starting at 107 I simply just want her hair to be even out and short enough to where it's not floating all over the place and her nails trimmed I don't need a lion mane Edit: no just shaved but I think I'll keep her pretty coat some of these pics I see and I changed my mind I love millies and don't want it Un even or a teddy

Alex did a great job with my 14y/o Persian! His place is very charming with tons of cat theme decor in client areas… The reason I felt compelled to write a review is because how communicative Alex is, he books out quite far in advance…I called early August and he was booked until the end of September! I got myself on the schedule and also let him know that I was flexible, a few weeks later he gave me a call because he had a cancellation and I was able to get in a month early! I really appreciated this because my cat was long overdue for grooming! I will definitely be returning in the future!

Alex was great! My little Mutant can be the devil but he was able to clip her nails super fast at a great rate. 10/10 would recommend.

He did fantastic job on my matted maincoon, made a dietary suggestion, and so glad he did. I have a future appointment set for 2 of my other maincoons..it will definitely be a challenge getting these 2 in the car on that day. They are skittish, stubborn and set in their ways ( and down right impossible to give a bath to), regardless if it is in a tub of water or with a cat wipes. But I have comple faith that Alex " The Cat Groomer" will somehow pull it off. He's brave for taking them both on during the same visit. Launie

Alex was recommended to me by a friend and I took my kitty in for a bath. He immediately put her at ease and cleaned her ears while my husband and I talked with him about what we wanted. It was nice to see an interaction with them while I was still there, and it really helped me trust him with my cat! She came home clean and smelling great. He even puts classical music on for the cats! Will definitely keep him in mind if my cats need a deep clean again!

Alex is good with the cats, and obviously has a lot of experience grooming. I do think he needs to work on his people skills, hence the missing star. For example, if you need to say something mean about my cat, find a more polite way of saying it.

I wanted to avoid a lion cut on our matted long haired Turkish Angola but Alex patiently explained to me that it would be less stressful to the cat to shave her rather than attempt to comb & cut out her matts. He also sold me an inexpensive comb to keep her matt-free. My cat was content when I picked her up and we'll return to Alex the Cat Groomer!

Alex was so kind and gentle with my elderly cat who has been having trouble keeping his tummy fur clean. I highly recommend. My cat feels so much better. His shaved belly will help him to stay tidy. Thank you!

You can tell walking in, Alex really cares about cats. Alex was really nice to my cat. I have an old cat with matted fur, and Alex cleaned him up and gave him a nice trim. My cat has been more energetic and happy with his nice cut. He snuggles more and has more energy. Thank you so much for taking care of my old boy!
