I would not recommend this breeder . I lost my German Shepherd to cancer and came to Kraftwerk to look at puppies and feel that my emotions were played on to make a sale . I was told they wanted $4500 before I came to look and when I made up my mind to purchase the price went to $7000 . He told me the $2500 extra was for training . As far as I could tell this was non existent . I asked if I could breed out of him and was told absolutely . I asked for a pedigree and was told they would send it . It turned out they had to apply for a pedigree for one of the parents and took 6 months for me to get a pedigree . Later at a little over a year old only one testicle dropped . When I informed Kraftwerk they told me to still breed out of my dog with only one testicle dropped . Not professional and not good advice . I asked for a partial refund and was told to bring the dog back or keep him with no refund . He knew the dog was part of my family and I would not return the dog . Sad that this happened and posted to keep this from happening to anyone wishing to purchase a German Shepherd . That said Ilove my dog .

We bought the most gorgeous german shepherd from Kraftwerk. We love her dearly and continue to make the best of the situation but want to inform potential buyers of our experience. The training she received between Germany and Washington has left her severely traumatized. We've spoken to multiple dog professionals that made us aware of this. We hoped it would get better but over a year of doing our best and loving her she is skittish, hair stands up as soon as someone new walks in (in a scared not aggressive way), growls when I try to pet her or call her, will not come if shes outside if she doesn't want to, has chewed up multiple items, accidentally bit our young daughter twice in belly and rear end, etc. Lastly, my girlfriend who picked her up from Kraftwerk the dog is petrified of not being attached to her every second of the day. The dog cannot relax if she is put outside she paces back and fourth like she's going to lose her. If we close her out of a room she will try to open the door nonstop like an abandonment fear. We honestly feel like the dog is a nervous wreck all day and feel bad for her. Now for the positives. She's gorgeous obviously from flawless bloodlines, shes great on a leash, confident with other dogs around doesn't freak out, and is friendly and not aggressive. If i had to do it over again I'd suggest not having the dog go through all that training and potential mistreatment and purchase a puppy from Kraftwerk or another avenue. Until then we'll keep loving this beautiful girl and hope one day she'll feel more comfortable in her 3rd new setting.

Got multiple dogs from there, very nice people and good dogs

We purchased a puppy in 2010 and she.was the best dog we ever had! Excellent temperament, great with kids, and everything you could want in a loyal copanion.

I got a puppy from this place about a year ago and he is the best dog our family has ever had. He’s great with our kids, super well behaved, and he always lets us know when someone is close to our house. The customer service was great and very friendly. If your interested in adding a new addition to your family or wanting an already trained dog definitely check out their website. I’ve been following it on Facebook since we got our pup and it’s amazing all the stuff they teach their dogs.

Several months ago, we decided to get a true working dog, companion, and most importantly a family pet. In looking for our German Shepherd puppy, we visited many kennels across the United States and spoke with several breeders before we found Wayne Curry at Kraftwerk K9. I called Wayne and easily scheduled a visit to check out his facility. I arrived and was personally welcomed by Wayne and his fantastic staff. He made me feel right at home and took me on a tour. Turns out, we knew some of the same folks in the sport and before you know it, I had my new best friend picked out and ready to go home. Even once we had him home, I called Kraftwerk K9 several times, almost weekly, with questions I had about the puppy, feeding, and advice on training, etc. Every single time, I spoke with someone on the phone to address my concerns; I knew I made the right choice. Our puppy is 9 months old now and well on his way to becoming a champion! Thank you to Wayne, January, and the entire team at Kraftwerk K9 for making this a truly remarkable experience! I bought a dog "Phoenix von Kraftwerk II" from them and he is very loyal to his Mom. He is 150 lbs & no one pushes him around unless he wants to let them. He is doing what he was bought for, being his Momma's dog! Also he is very gorgeous as a red sable w/ black under tones. Gorgeous, big & bold!

Amazing dogs from an amazing breeder. I first learned of Kraftwerk K9 20y ago but couldn’t afford what they offered being a young adult at the time, only 20yo. Fast forward to 2020, Wow!!! Adalie (Yoshi) Vom Kraftwerk is the smartest dog I’ve ever had. Amazing intelligence, self driven to work. Too smart for her own good; lol. We literally trained her to come/sit/lay down/stay in: 20 minutes. Mind blown ????! The staff was exceptional, answered any inquiry in a timely manner, even though I’m in a separate Country and different time zone. Couldn’t be happier with the money I’ve spent and the intellect dog that I’ve received in kind. I received what I paid for and so, so much more. My Wife is so amazed by Adalie that she is already planning her own Kraftwerk K9 puppy purchase in the coming years..

My puppy Volker is 7 months old. I got him from Kraftwerk and he is absolutely amazing. I have had him for two weeks now and his personality is outstanding. The staff at Kraftwerks were extremely helpful through the whole process of getting Volker. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I have owned two Kraftwerk German Shepherds and they are hands down the BEST of the breed. I’ve been a life long owner of GSD’s since I was a kid—in my 40’s now—and I can tell you there is something special about Wayne’s dogs. They are brilliant, hard working, loyal, fearless and confident dogs. My current boy Apollo is 2 1/2 now and a gorgeous, inky jet black with a thick glossy coat—he is a certified service animal and had some bite work training. He’s a absolute gentleman and a rock solid machine when he needs to be. To say he is gorgeous is an understatement. I cannot take him out anywhere without people stopping to compliment both his looks and his well rounded temperament and manners. If you’re looking for the best representation of the breed, but a Kraftwerk shepherd—you won’t regret it.

unhealthy, poor genetics, they change the names on papers, forge documentation, change contracts (so keep an original copy, have multiple lawyers for the amount of law suits against them, just Google them..look on any fb breeder page ask ANYONE in the German shepherd world

I have been in the market for buying a GS for years now and finally decided to hit the go button. Called up Kraftwerk and a very nice lady who I believe her name was January, she answered all my questions (which I did have a lot) and was very friendly and helped guide me to which dog I wanted. I called a few more times in between spoke to Dakota on training which was again very helpful in the learning process. I received my pup after trying with January on different flights but she was awesome enough to keep trying to get my pup where I needed him to go. Needless to say, I can definitely tell my pup was handled and well taken care of before even having him arrive. We are ecstatic and glad we decided to go with Kraftwerk K9. Thanks again for all your help in finding our new best friend.

I cannot say enough about the seamless purchase of our beautiful German Shepherd with Kraftwerk K9. We kept her at the kennel until 12 weeks to have some extra training. They contacted us every week with new pictures so we were able to watch her grow. They have answered any and all questions we have had and continue to support us as we get used to the new baby. Also, the delivery from Seattle to Tampa was so easy and the pup did really well. She is such a sound, chill, lovable pup. I highly recommend this breeder for your next GSD.

We are are so happy with Tesla, our 7 week old jet-black Kraftwerk female GSD. From the very 1st day we brought her home, she bonded with the family & our 6 month old male GSD. She did not cry at all the 1st night, and potty trained in just 3 days. She is extremely smart & bold. She watches the 6 month old, analyzes what he is doing, then goes for it. On her 1st trip to a local creek she went into the water all by herself. At the off leash dog park, she is not scared of any dogs. She greets all dogs and tries to play as much as she can. Everywhere we go, people commit on how beautiful she is & how well behaved. We adore her. Kraftwerk K9 was very professional, beautiful kennels, great website, and provided an excellent dog. In 2005 I worked with Kraftwerk to find a good dog for me and my young family. Wayne helped me pick the right one - Quana vom Kraftwerk (Roxy vom Stadtfeld x Kaiko vom Salztalblick). For 13 years she was part of our family. So eager to please, such high ball drive, and amazingly happy. Only twice did we actually need her for protection and she turned on so fast, I didn’t even have to ask. I got cancer and went through one of the worst times of my life. Once I finished treatment, I called back to Kraftwerk in search of another pup. Turned out, after talking with Wayne, that one of Roxy’s granddaughters was available. Now I have Ronja. She’s been with us for 6 months or so. From the day I got her she was curious, steadfast and so friendly and social. I kept her on lead at all times but she genuinely liked to follow me around and every time I would stop she would stop, sit and look up at me. Now she is about 9months old. I’m opening a business an old mill building in a rough town. She is with me 24/7. He ball drive is like nothing I’ve ever seen. It’s controlled but almost scary. She can turn on and off in an instant. No matter where we are, I can tell her to ‘load up’ and she will run full speed and hop in her crate in my vehicle. She is a tireless worker and always ready for what’s coming at her. Thank you, Wayne, for listening to me and helping me keep Roxy’s, and Quana’s memory alive with Ronny. I never thought I would have a better more able dog than Quana, but Ronny is on track to be that dog.

I can't say enough about Kraftwerk K9 dogs. We got our first Kraftwerk in 2004 and our second in 2012. The biggest selling point for our first purchase was how great the dogs were with children. We were planning a family. Since we wanted a GSD, we wanted a certain measure of assurance of mental stability and physical health. These are powerful animals and mental stability was very important around small children. Our sweet Kraftwerk dog was everything promised and then some. He was a loyal, gentle, and loving dog with the family. He had a very strong bark towards anyone at the door. We got him before our first child and he was our spoiled boy. The moment we returned from the hospital with our child, he was ultra gentle to the baby. We established very strict boundaries. He was not allowed near the baby or its room. As the baby grew, he was sweet and gentle. Once, our baby took a jerky treat out of the dogs mouth. The dog just let the baby have it and looked to us for help. I can't count the number of times the baby fell or tripped over the dog, accidentally poked his eye or pulled his ear. Each time, the dog was totally unaffected and peaceful. On our daily walks, as a young dog, he made friends with neighbor dogs. He was able to play nicely, off-leash, in public and at dog parks. After he passed, it took us less than 2 months to have our second Kraftwerk at home with us. She's got a little more sass than our first dog, but is equally loyal and gentle with the family, and the now much bigger kids. Both dogs were so good and gentle taking treats. Sometimes when we give them a treat, they let it fall out of their mouth before they eat it. Both dogs require strong leadership and established boundaries. I've become much more assertive since getting my Kraftwerk dogs. They can push the boundaries if you let them, so it requires leadership by the family. When we're ready for another furry family member, our first stop will be Kraftwerk.

I have bought over the years three of the most beautiful, smart, healthy German Shepherds from Wayne and my friends and cousins have also purchased shepherds from kraftwerks k9. I would like to thank Wayne and all the staff at Kraftwerk K9 for providing the best German Shepherd I have ever had the pleasure to call my own! After 14 years of fantastic memories I had to put Kodiak down, my best friend and companion. I have had Shepherds all my life and Kodiak was by far the smartest and healthiest German Shepherd that I have ever owned. He was a very special dog. If anyone is looking to purchase a Shepherd, as far as I am concerned this is the only kennel that you should consider! Keep up the great work! Rest in peace Kodiak!

When I recently started looking for a German Shepherd puppy, I was pretty overwhelmed by all the options I found online. There were breeders in my state, in surrounding states, and all across the country. Just the number of people out there breeding GSDs was daunting, and in my searches, I came across more than a few questionable breeders as well as straight up puppy mills. However, one breeder kept rising to the top of all my search lists - Kraftwerk K9. I was extremely impressed with their website because of the sheer volume of information available about the lineage of each puppy. It became apparent very quickly that this was a breeder who had a dedicated facility quite unlike any other breeder in America. There was just something special about this place and Wayne Curry's dedication to preserving the true working line of the German Shepherd. (Initially, I didn't know there was a difference between West German working lines and AKC show dogs). My first contact with Kraftwerk was with the Office Manager, January. She spoke to me at length about their program, facility and answered all my questions about the puppies i was considering. She really helped guide me to the perfect choice. I also spoke with Dakota who was just as friendly and helpful. I made my initial purchase online and the process could not have been easier or more expeditious. After making the initial deposit online, I received a phone call and email from January in which I signed our puppy up for Obedience Level 1 training. After that 4 week course, I made the final payment and she made the arrangements for the puppy to fly to our local airport. Our puppy arrived without any problems and the first thing we noticed was that she was a magnificent example of the breed. She was immediately impressive with her size, stance and bone structure. She was also one of the sweetest puppies I've ever had. Her temperament was just so even and rock-solid! My entire family could tell instantly that this dog was something special. She is so intelligent, alert and driven! We could not have picked a better suited puppy for our son even if we'd toured the facility. During this process, I'd purchased another puppy that was shipped at the same time. She was also incredible but sadly, it wasn't going to work for us. That being said, within the 72 hour window, I called Kraftwerk to make the arrangements to send my puppy back. There were not any problems with that process and, even though it broke my heart to send my pup back, January was EXTREMELY sympathetic and understanding. There was never a problem or issue even with the refund for her which was extremely fast! Every single time I've called Kraftwerk, I'vs spoken to somebody (usually the office manager, January) and had excellent customer service. January was in constant contact with me throughout the entire purchase. She updated me via email with pictures of the puppies and even links to YouTube videos of the pups as well. She was also my point of contact when I had to sadly return my girl, too. I have nothing but glowing praise for my entire experience with Kraftwerk. They could not have been more caring, attentive and professional! In the future, I will contact them again for my dog! If you are in the market for a GSD, I HIGHLY recommend Kraftwerk. The puppies are pricey, but, as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for. These dogs are EXCEPTIONAL and Kraftwerk is the truly the best breeder in the US!

I own a awesome dog from Wayne Curry.He is the best breeder anywhere!!!l l am currently waiting for my next puppy,from Kraftwerk K-9.l have trained Schuntzhund dogs for a police department,here in California.They don't have the quality of dog's that Wayne breeds.Any serious GSD lover,should definitely check Wayne's dogs out.He and his dogs are the "REAL DEAL"

We could not be more pleased with our puppy. We could not have asked for a more loving dog. He is super calm, confident and always striving to please. He comes with us everywhere and sits next to my youngest. We can’t go anywhere without someone complimenting us on our pup, either for his looks or due to calmness and obedience. This is my first, but not my last Kraftwerk dog. This pup is perfect in every way, not over the top drivy like my last Czech/DDR GSD. Totally confident around strangers and new environments, and loves car rides. I HIGHLY recommend Kraftwerk, worth every cent. You know you are getting a healthy pup with proper temperament and drives that exceeds the breed standards. The only hard choice is coat color & if you want a male or female. All their dogs are beautiful.
