They got my dog in for an appointment in only 1day...my sick fur baby was well taken care of...got checked out ,got her medication and she's doing well...and they even called me 2 days in a row just to see how she was doing...thanks...you guys are the best

Horrendous experience. They took my 8 week old Chiweenie puppy out of the room to clip her nails and I heard her screaming and she came back with a fresh scratch on her head. It had coagulated so they put something on it, but there was some fresh blood on the scar too. I asked what happenedp and they denied it. Total upselling type of place. The staff was catty and bickering amongst themselves. Never going back here again.

The staff is beyond friendly and amazing! We feel very comfortable having them care for our fur babies.

Went in for a one-off vet need. Staff was okay, but the check-in process was extremely rigid and was not a welcoming process as a new customer. Once in, the appointment took two hours. In their defense, they had signs up apologizing for the staffing shortages that a lot of businesses are going through. I noticed misspellings on their business cards and internal signs in the rooms. Professional concerns. The x-ray consultation lacked professionalism as well; the vet showed me a partial picture of the x-ray on her iPhone (she took a picture of the x-ray results). This may be due to Covid, but surely there's a more official and professional way to present an x-ray. And by the way...the x-ray "consultation" was $99. If I needed emergency care, and this was the only place with availability I'd return, but otherwise would look elsewhere. Too many professionalism concerns for me to be a customer here.

The people are great but the cost was very expensive I don't know if I will be going back

The staff was very professional and caring for my puppy. They were knowledgeable and willing to share information regarding his health care and his immunizations. They also sent me home with further pamphlets and said that they would be available if I had any questions. They called and did a follow up call with me to see how he was doing after his immunizations. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for care for their puppies

I am so confident with the veterinarian's professional competency that I drve from Green Lake (North Seattle) to bring my pets to Animal Health Care Center in Renton for their vet care.

Dishonest , they just want to milk you for your money. The doctor doesn't even come out ND talk to you about your dogs health. They say everything is fine but had to end up taking my dog to the emergency room because I trusted their word for it ND my newborn pupp almost died. ???? don't recommend this place at all

I’ve gone 3 times and have not had a good experience here. The people working at the front are rude and are not considerate at all. They changed an appointment to a day that I could not go without telling me and they were going to charge me again to reschedule to the day I had already scheduled. This as well as two other instances happened. Never coming back here again, would not recommend.

Horrible clinic. Absolute thieves. Hidden fees is how they make their money. Which is very much a fact. They don’t care about animals only money.

We have been clients for 13 years and the quality of care, compassion of Dr. Wood's staff cannot be overstated. Dr. Wood always has made time for us and Sarah, Tiffany and Jen are saints. As is often said.....you get what you pay for and AHCC is the best.

As a first time puppy owner, bringing my puppy to AHCC was probably one of the best decisions I could have made. They've given me all the suggestions in raising my pup the most healthy way- they showed me how to clean her ears and brush her teeth. Dr. Wood and the nurses are always so kind and considerate. After every visit, they make sure to check in a day or 2 after to make sure my pup was doing well after her vaccinations. They kindly answer every question I have and give me the best reassurance that I am doing the right things. I strongly suggest them to any new puppy owners!

We are a first time new dog owners. We were recommended this vet. It was clean, welcoming as soon as we arrived. Everyone was so kind and helpful. We had a lot of questions as new dog owners and they help with all of them.

We have been going to Animal Health Care Center in Renton for over 10 years. We have always had a good experience with them, and when we lost our pet, they were so caring. I would highly recommend them.

Update: My original post was made in 2015. I am still going to Animal Health Care Center, and now have a new puppy. The staff and Dr. Wood is great! And I highly recommend them to anyone who asks for a vet referral.

We love AHCC!! They have treated our cat's like family! Now with Covid-19 they have taken all precautions to keep everyone safe. Our kittens Luigi and Daisy.

They might get ya with the itemized list but most things I believe were only recommendations. They took very good care of our Frenchie Mia...she enjoyed the treats! Longer appt than expected but it was her 1st visit.

When I first found Animal Healthcare Center, I wasn’t quite sure how they would handle my overly-anxious GSD since we had bad experiences with her with another vet. Between the absolute professionalism, the amazing staff, the family friendly atmosphere and the LOVE you feel at this facility.. it’s a true 5 star experience. You will spend all your money here, but your pet will have the quality of care that deserves every penny.

Excellent care for our pets. We have been going there for over 15 years. Compassionate care, very thorough and doesn’t just treat symptoms, but finds and treats the actual health issue. Our pets are part of our family and we trust Dr. Wood and her staff.

Like taking a car in for service where there is a charge for anything that anyone does or touches. "Free" nail clip is more than made up for by high rates and charges for things like the certificate of rabbis shot! Then when we requested an email copy of the blood work results, we got the info for someone else's dog! Ask questions you don't even think you need to ask before you make an appointment! HOWEVER Brittany did a Fantastic job trimming our dog's toenails! We will be back!

Very sweet people, but very expensive. They try adding extra stuff on the bill when all you really want it one shot. Also waiting on the assistants/ nurses to return into the room took forever both times I went in. Like I said very sweet people but long wait and way too pricey (and they push the extra costs on you)

Careless about our Dogs wellness. White privilege would be nice to have right now..because they definitely care towards those types of individuals. Never again will we be going back, and I would never recommend this place to anyone and their love ones????

Lots of hidden costs, inconsistent service

Absolute thieves. Hidden fees is how they make their money. If you want something done, they tell you that they need to charge you for extra things your dog doesn’t need. Prices are a bit high, and their customer service is atrocious.

I took my dog there for a check up and because I suspected he had fleas. They checked and and reassured me he didn’t have fleas but in fact was just allergic to grass. They gave me medicine for that. They didn’t even do a full check on him to make sure he didn’t have fleas. I took him to his groomer and he in fact did have fleas. I am so angry that they missed something like that. My dog could have gotten treatment fast instead of having to wait.
