The new vet at the clinic is SO much more professional and respectful than the previous owners! Wonderful change, much needed.

My dog got into some rat poison. Puyallup Valley Vet was able to get her in an induced vomiting within a half hour of her eating it. We have been clients there for almost 20 years. The precision that the ENTIRE team worked together was a beautiful thing to watch. Both Casey (old owner) and Summer (new owner) as well as the vet techs, worked together on the equations to figure out how much she consumed vs how much medication she needed. The quality of care is the reason we continue to use Puyallup Valley Veterinary Clinic. Top notch. Thank you for saving my pup’s life!

I recently got a new cat. I ended up taking in stray. Called around my area to get her in (to get spay). They were soooooooo nice on the phone, and getting me scheduled! It was so nice to not be on hold for 30mins or to me told to call later because they are too busy. They got me as soon as possible. Which I appreciate! The staff is 100% soooo nice and very professional! I couldn't be happier! I would highly recommend them to anyone. I will be back at the end January with my adorable cat, Kiki. Thank you guys for being so awesome! ❤

I got my adult female spayed here, it was the best price I found, they didn't try to push a bunch of unnecessary tests. Also she has a weird thing with her throat that I told them about as caution for when they put her under. They were extra careful and even called in a second person to make sure everything was good. They answered all my questions, even days after her surgery. Her post op went great and they all were so good with her!! She's not scared to go there and loves everyone. I trust them fully with caring for my dog! She's been to about 5 different vets since she was a puppy and this is where we are staying. Everyone there was wonderful!

My initial visit for my six month old pup went very well. It took six weeks to get in but all of the other vets said an appointment would be two months or more out. I felt good enough about them to schedule getting my dog fixed in January. The price they quoted for that was right in line with what the breeder in Texas said it should be.

They took great care of my fury best friend and showed love by calling to follow up on his recovery.

Was very happy with our vet visit. Dr and staff were very helpful and informing. Pleased to have them to care for our animals.

The best veterinary clinic around! All of the staff treat your furry family members like their own. Always a great experience when we visit. Dr Casey repeatedly tries to engage in divisive political rhetoric during the office visit and that is NOT what I am paying for. He needs to focus on treating pets and less on airing his political grievances or his uncertainty about the integrity of medical studies regarding pets and humans(this is a Dr. mind you). I was just there for a dog annual exam and shots. His retirement will allow him to remain in his Fox News bubble and not provoke more divisiveness in the general population based on propaganda and lies

5 STARS BUT BE ADVISED…. I just started bringing Speedy, my 1.5yr old dog here. The doctor took great care in her chronic itching and she’s doing so much better now! Speedy recently got in heat (when I originally thought she was spade) and I called to ask for advice. They set me up with an appointment a few weeks out and mentioned that if there was a cancellation, they would call me. Now we get to the ‘be advised’ part. They call me today saying they have an open spot. I obviously take it because I want my dog to be okay and not get preggo. I pull up and they tell me that it’s just an exam and not the actually procedure. They end up taking a $64 sample of blood work to test if she’s okay for anesthesia. I go to pay, and the bill is $154. They charged me an extra $90 for a “Same Day/Urgent Care Exam”! This blows my mind. They called ME and are going to charge me as an urgent patient? I brought it up to the receptionist and she seemed reluctant to help me with a “My manager isn’t here.” comment so I opted to leave instead of hold up the line. Expect a call from me on Monday because this won’t fly.

Brought my two pets here this month for checkups and a spay. This was my first experience with this vet. The doctor was super knowledgeable and took plenty of time to discuss my pets’ health and make recommendations. Reception and vet tech staff were also very nice and caring.

Took our 2 year old Aussie we had adopted to come get neutered and a teeth cleaning. They were very kind and gentle with him as he is an anxious boy still building confidence and getting used to his new home. They were thorough with the teeth cleaning and did a great job with the neuter. It's a great place to establish care.

Dr. Rutledge is a wonderful Vet! I was struggling to find a place to get my dog checked out for a quality of life exam and she was able to fit is in. She went over all of the options and I chose to put my 13 year old best friend down. Dr. Rutledge handled everything with such compassion. I could not of asked for a better person for such a hard moment

The staff are always friendly when I call with questions and provide very thorough answers. In person, they are genuinely excited to see my pets. It’s clear to me that they care a great amount for the pets, and people, that come to them for veterinary care.

This place has amazing workers! They’re so welcoming and so sweet! I know my dog is in great hands, so I would definitely recommend this place to other people.

The people here are amazing and kind. This was my first time taking my dog to this vet and they made sure that my dog was comfortable the whole time and also made me feel very welcomed as a pet owner and went above and beyond at explaining things to me! The pricing was extremely fair as well! I will definitely be bringing all of my animals here and recommending it to everyone!

I'm so glad this clinic was accepting new pet patients. I tried contacting 4 other places but were all met with: sorry we can't help you. It was a bit stressful since we just adopted a new dog and wanted to bring him in for a check-up. Dr. Marsh and the staff were all very kind and sweet. My dog definitely didn't know what a vet visit is all about but now he thinks it's a place where he gets pets, hugs, and snacks, and he was beyond comfortable. We have to go back in 2 weeks for a booster so maybe his feelings might change a bit ????. But from the pet-parent standpoint they were thorough at explaining his care needs, scanning and reviewing his microchip, and provided an all-around good experience from drive up check-in to check-out. Super happy we're with them for our pup's ongoing care!

The most caring and knowledgeable veterinarians I have found in my 47 years as a cat owner. Time and again I have seen these two vets give the best possible care to my kitties. I moved to Puyallup with 3 older cats and the care was amazing. Now I have 2 middle aged cats and am about to move out of state. I honestly don’t believe I will find this level of care again. I cannot recommend this clinic enough. ❤️

We have always used Puyallup Valley Veterinary as the team is so knowledgeable, personable and they are the cat whisperers to anxious kitties who dislike the vet! We hadn't needed to go for about 4 years but went back this week and it reminded us of why we always choose them for our fur babies. They treat each one is if it were their own and that is so reassuring to traumatized parents ! Plus, I really like their holistic approach to treat the issue but simultaneously boost the immune system.
