Metro Animal Services Puyallup, Washington

Adopted this little guy from Metro and was so happy with their help and services. I can tell he was well loved at the shelter which makes me not feel so bad for the other animals there. The ladies that helped me let me know about his eating issues and made suggestions on how to ease him into his new home. Now him and our other cat are best friends, and he’s chunky and happy!

Great place to find your forever pet .

Even though it kills me too have to give my cats away, I am blessed that metro provided support to me through this. I have amazing cats, most hands on personable, loving animals and the most beautiful unique colors. Anyone would be so luck to have one or two of them, so please go down and look at them, they will show you so much love.

Please don't take found dogs here. They aren't 24hours and your fur baby will be stuck in there all night even showing up 5 minutes after closing. Tacoma Humane Society open an hour latet and gives owners extra time to get there pets.

Staff helped us adopt a cat on Halloween. Told them what we were looking for. Kid friendly and playful to help get rid of moles. Cats looked healthy and well taken care of.

Unable to assist, could only weakly suggests. Funding has a lot to do with it. To bad because l am leaving the Humane Society with a percentage of my estate. I hope some day we can look after our few remaining wildlife better.

Sadly had to surrender a pet and chose metro. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Maybe one day we will adopt a pet when the timing is right.

Not very helpful, called about a dog that we had found. While saying “unfortunately we cannot give advice” also weaved in “there’s nothing we can do” and “why are you calling this animal shelter?”. Didn’t seem to care what would happen to the dog ultimately.

Still watching update for my lost cat.

Clean place, caring staff, and great animals waiting for their forever homes. You have to call to make an appointment to see the animals now, due to Covid-19 restrictions, but they're doing their best to get people in, and I was able to get in within 2 days. I did adopt and the process was very good/smooth. It's a tiny shelter with limited space, and serves a HUGE area - a collection of cities! So if you're looking for a pet, please consider them. They regularly get in new pets needing homes, and list them on their website.

It cool and they treat the animals nicely they all seem happy and really cute I got this cat they're when she was a kitten.

Got my dog here! They dont have alot, but they take great care of them. Staff is friendly too check em out.

If you find a animal try to find the owner before taking it here, my dog ran away we put out a flier the day of but this place doesn't receive the fliers. We found out where she through a Facebook post, came to get her and they want $275. Either pay or lose your dog to adoption.

Great volunteers.125$ to adopt cat/dog. Covers spay or neuter and some shots. ???? our new family addition

It had some beautiful babies I want to adopt in the new year They had a lovely young girl who obviously loved all the babies there because they loved her ..she was showing me the babies Aww the kitties ????a lovely senior???? and a rottweiler ????caught my attention They need homes Go please adopt???????? the fees are reasonable All pets deserve loving homes.They are well taken care of with clean areas ..beds food and toys but a home ..much better

Nice and friendly staff. My dog passed, and I donated her leftover food. They were so comforting when I broke down in tears.

They were very helpful after losing our cat. They accepted a picture of him and informed me they would call if he gets brought in.

What a wonderful place ! It’s nice to see there are still people out there that actually care about what they do and the people they help :) Special thanks to Jennifer who took my calls and helped me once I got there. She helped make things easier and even made sure Dexter had a nice bed to sleep on at home :) Since they even help out with food and supplies when needed they do accept donations so please help out if you can :).
