Very welcoming and patient with our 3 dogs, especially our middle child-dog, as he has severe anxiety.

Very nice, open to check in, friendly staff and comforting when I was dropping off the kitties. Afterwards the patients seem to be doing well and they came home with written instructions, I love that!

I have been very happy with the care that both of my dogs have gotten at Vista. Being able to communicate by email is important to me although they do answer the phone and have an excellent staff. Recently I have recommended friends to them and they weren't taking new clients.....bummer.

This is by far the best vet we've ever had. They are very great priced and also some of the kindest and most attentive staff! They always take such great care of my pets and always tell me how much they love them when we take them in. They have always been able to find solutions to any issue our pets health and correct it quickly. I go out of my way for this vet because they aren't close to where I live but so well worth the drive. Highly recommend this vet and their amazing staff! Your pet will be in great hands with them.

I've been taking my dogs to Vista for 13 years. They are always kind, compassionate, and thorough. I very much appreciate their reasonable approach to animal care and how sweet they are to my dogs.

Vista Pet Hospital is staffed by the most wonderful group of people. They all share a deep love and compassion for animals and it shows in every aspect of their care. I have three cats and one special-needs rescue puppy. They each have medical issues, and the team at Vista always takes the very best care of them. The staff and doctors are professional, and yet every person I've encountered there takes the time to really listen to your concerns and observations. They are good at asking questions, and at making sure you understand what's going on. I am so grateful to have them care for my beloved little ones and Vista has my highest recommendation.

If you ever need to take your pet, take them there! They are such a joy and so patient. My cat is on the "violence list" lol, and they treat her with the best care ever even though she is a brat.

Very good quality and friendly service! :) Update a year and a few visits later, still 5 stars. We love going to Vista with our dog, they are no nonsense very qualified vet! Today was our latest visit for a while as we are moving out of the country. Vista staff and Dr Thompson are very knowledgeable and are very helpful in the complicated process. I am going to miss them and will probably have a hard time finding a new vet who is equal or beter then vista. Thank you so much Vista and a big paw hug from Bourbon.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED FUR BABIES TO THIS PLACE. I have never in my life encountered such a rude group of workers in my life. After months of waiting for an appointment for my dog to be seen about a limp, on the day of the appointment the office canceled and said I would have to wait another 2 months, after the 2 months I had just already waited. They would not give me an explanation as to why the appointment was canceled. Then when I asked to speak to someone in charge I was simply told that if I didn’t like the Decision they made to cancel the appointment, then I should look for another vet. Again DO NOT send your animals here. My dogs were neglected in the care they should have been receiving because this office is so unorganized, the staff is rude, and the care is below par of even mediocre. BAD STAFF, BAD CARE!!!!

Always wonderful with our rescue and spaying and neutering our foster bunnies.

They helped my bunny with the aftercare after neutering and they replied to my comstant concerns with care. They really made the process a bit less scary

In June 2021 my 12 year old cat had a cancerous growth on his paw. It was bad. We went to a couple vets to get opinions what to do. Instead of telling us to put our loved one down, Vista Pet Hospital recommended amputation. We are so glad we found Vista. This place is amazing. They saved our Buddy Boy. He now has 3 legs and plays like a kitten again. Within a month he adapted to 3 legs. Their isn’t a better Vet hospital in Portland Oregon. Trust me. If a Vet quotes you 5,000 or more for a pet surgery, call these guys. Their prices will blow your mind. Thanks again Vista. I will send everyone I know your way. Vista rocks!

I have had numerous animals get their care at Vista Pet Hospital and I have always felt good about the experience. They are reasonably priced but still with quality care.

Everybody here is amazing, from the kindness and professionalism of the reception staff to the competency and hard work of doctors, veterinary techs, and veterinary assistants. They are all absolutely amazing and hardworking!

staff were welcoming and friendly (even so early in the morning). We were greeted right away and handed off Cannon almost immediately. Pickup later was equally as pleasant.

Affordable and kind. Vista Pet came highly recommended to me and I have been very happy with their services of our pets. We've had a dental which was very affordable compared to other places and also had our cat spayed. Staff is very kind and I felt completely comfortable leaving my pets for the all day services! Thank you for being a place we can trust with our furry family members!

If I could give this place a lower rating I would. We took our elderly dog here because he was acting funny. We then spent over $750 just diagnosing him and trying to find out what was wrong over the course of several months. This office’s communication skills are horrible and we were not told what was happening. We finally thought we got a diagnosis a few weeks ago and got our baby on some medication. Our vet told us his condition was not life threatening and he had years left in him. I came home from work yesterday to find my poor baby dead. I’m so angry and upset and frustrated. I knew I had a bad feeling about this vets office but I trusted them. I should have gotten a different vet the moment I sensed something wrong. These people were very rude to me when I complained about the lack of communication on their part and they blamed COVID. Honestly that’s a weak excuse. If you can’t handle the patient load then cut some clients. They will not answer your calls and they will offer little help if you have serious needs and concerns. Please do not come here if you need help with a serious issue. If you look through the reviews I am not the only one who has had this kind of treatment. I am the only one who was not smart enough to take my baby somewhere else before he died.

Vista is hands-down the most reasonably priced and trustworthy vet clinic I’ve ever used. They take great care of our two dogs, be it for general preventative care or acute health issues. The staff is always friendly and prompt to respond to questions or appointment requests. I’m very pleased with our experiences here.

I had a great experience with Vista Pet hospital. The only thing that kept me from putting 5 stars was the confusion of dropping off. I came in and sat down only to realize that I needed to fill out paperwork. I wasn't advised to do so. Other than that my kitten is healing great and there was perfect communication after she came out of surgery!
