I want to bring Luna here for all of her health care. If you value alternative treatments that are effective, working synergistically WITH your pet, this is the vet to see.

Dr. Paul is truly a great practitioner. He restored my cat's numb and limp tail and awkward gait with skilled adjustment and laser treatment. In 3 visits, she was bouncing around like a kitten and clearly not in pain anymore. Her tail has actually begun moving normally in a lot of ways, far beyond what anyone anticipated would happen for her. He's very kind and gentle, would not hesitate to come back, in fact I kind of wish he could be my chiropractor too!

Dr. Keith and the entire team at AHA are amazing and we are so happy to take our dog Copper there! He loves going in to see them, even without me going in! (During covid). Dr. Keith is an amazing resource and I feel lucky to be able to take care of Copper with the advise and knowledge he shares. Copper's health overall has improved greatly with the help of AHA and I would recommend them to anyone.

My Corgi, Hardd, would drag me into Dr. K's office despite his need for acupuncture to relieve his pain. Once in, Hardd would totally ignore me, preferring the staff and especially Dr. K. Without a doubt, my beloved boy's last months were better because of his weekly treatments and his love for Dr. K.

Dr. Keith has achieved remarkable results with my daughter's Boxer. DM is a horrible disease with a guaranteed sad outcome, but Dr. Keith has added valuable time to our dog's life and we greatly appreciate the extra quality time we are able to spend with our fur baby.

I could not be more impressed by the entire team at Animal Healing Arts. In particular, Dr. Kayser, who is hands-down the smartest and most compassionate vet I have had the opportunity to partner with. The amount of research and effort she put into developing the best possible treatment plan for our two dogs and discovering root cause issues missed by numerous other vets was humbling and incredibly unique. It absolutely felt as though she was as dedicated to helping them as we were. I constantly recommend Dr. K to anyone I meet who has a pet, she's a special person.

Dr. Keith went above and beyond for my dog and I during her illness and transition. I have never experienced such compassionate care. I wish I had found him sooner than her illness had occurred. Animal Healing Arts and Dr. Keith are worth the wait. I feel very blessed to have worked with him throughout my dog's illness and to receive care from a veterinarian with the greatest of intent, integrity, and kindness.

UPDATED: REVIEW My family is beyond grateful for Animal Healing Arts. Dr. Weingardt saved my dog's life! We had just been to our conventional vet for Ruckus' annual exam and they had mentioned that his abdomen felt full, but it was probably nothing and to watch and wait. Dr. Weingardt is a different type of vet. He is proactive in his thinking and provides a path to the best level of health and quality of life. Instead of taking the "watch and wait" approach he ordered an ultrasound and a large mass was discovered. Ruckus had surgery at Dove Lewis that day, the mass was removed, and turned out to be benign! Dove Lewis told me it is rare these masses are found before they rupture and once that happens they can be life threatening. Dr. Weingardt absolutely saved Ruckus' life with his proactive approach and attention to detail. Ruckus is recovering fantastically with Dr. Weingardt's comprehensive plan including nutrition, supplements, and referral to massage. We also look forward to working with Dr. Mary Mandeville who offers chiropractic care at Animal Healing Arts. I am so relieved to have a plan in place and see Ruckus chasing squirrels and feeling good! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Dr. Keith Weingardt and the team at Animal Healing Arts are absolutely excellent. After our first consultation we have hope, confidence, and a comprehensive plan to address my 9 year old dog’s recurrent back pain. Other vets told me he would never run, play, or go up stairs again (100% wrong) and had nothing but pain meds for him. Dr. Weingardt took an in depth history to understand my dog’s medical history and personality. He explained different options, where we would start, and what the next phases of treatment would look like. I am so relieved and excited that Animal Healing Arts is providing care that gets to the root cause and my little buddy is getting the very best!

Dr. Keith and the rest of his staff are absolutely amazing. They are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. This is not a regular vets office, my dogs actually love visiting! Everyone takes their time to make all animals and people feel comfortable and cared about.

If you want the long version go to my review on Yelp. He is an incredible resource for a healthy, happy, and hopefully long life shared between you and your companion.

We Have so many Great Holistic Vets in Portland ( Two Rivers, Holistic Vet) That have been established here for years. You don't have to wait 2 months to get in and their offices have everything right there to help diagnosis your pet. I would not recommend Animal Arts, I would suggest checking out one of the other Vet. offices.

I thought I loved my vets until now - the animals didn't but they LOVE Dr. Keith! He was quite a bio, check out his website for details but he is traditionally educated from one of the best vet universities in the country and now is holistic. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Keith. We had our initial visit today with our dogs and I am doing a happy dance that I finally found my guy. Woohoo!
