The receptionist has a very rude tone and an attitude problem. Every single time I’ve called for a simple question about my dog she never gives me a straight answer. For some reason she can never find my dogs file either. The last time I was in there the vet asked her to look for my dogs file, she couldn’t find it and he went to get it himself. The place looks really unorganized. Also, the medication is ridiculously expensive. The vet doesn’t warn you before charging you medication. He just applies it on your dog and tells you at the end. The vet is very knowledgeable, but medication price is too high!

A wonderful bird vet for my precious Gander. Made us feel so comfortable and was so informative and helpful. My Gwen now has the perfect doctor who is professional and kind. No where else for my Geese.

I took my 3 dogs for shots and wellness check and with flea and heartworm for 3 dogs and 2 tunes of ear medicine for one dog was almost $800. After checking other vets I was charged almost double for everything. $35 per vaccine shot.. The vets real nice but his prices I feel are ridiculously high.. especially when I get charged $45 each for 2 tubes of ear medication that you can get online for $22 all day long.....

I have been taking my animals here for years. By far the best Vet yet! He is thorough and engages my kids specifically when it's an animal that belongs to them and allows them to be hands on and learn. I could go on about his incredible expertise especially since my family seems to only have exotic animals. Kind, very knowledgeable and straight forward .

Dr. Mike was a life saver. Literally. We were very lucky to get a same day appointment as a new client due to a cancellation for our very ill pup. He is the most realistic, informative, honest and caring vet that we have ever met. He will take the time to explain things and care for your furry loved ones.

I recently had the pleasure of talking to and using the services of Dr. Widener of Farmhouse Veterinary Hospital. My Girlfriend and I helped move her 92 year old parents from Southern California to Lacey Washington. They had a 12 year old Yorkie named Bandit that had been neglected and needed oral surgery. His condition was life threatening. The family was considering euthanizing Bandit but the Doctor convinced the family that Bandit was worth saving. The Doctor performed a 3 hour surgery on Bandit that went well. The family decided that their parents were not able to properly care for Bandit and that Bandit should be put up for adoption. Dr. Widener arranged for one of his staff to adopt Bandit and now Bandit is doing well. Dr. Widener has a true love for animals. During this process I had several lengthy telephone conversations with the doctor, never did I feel like he was rushing to finish the conversation. He truly wanted to save Bandit. His practice was completely booked during this period but he worked between appointments and after hours to accommodate Bandit. I would recommend Dr. Widener to anyone looking for quality Veterinary care.

Was my first time going, as Mom has taken up until now. Was great, he answered all questions and knew what he was talking about. Also hearing of a neighbors experience, the simple once over inspection of a new animal, diagnosed some rotten teeth, which years at another vet were overlooked for years...there you go.

AMAZING VET! I have an older dog who has had skin issues for the last three years. Dr. Widener is the only vet who has helped my dog long term. Even specialty vets couldn’t keep her skin issues at bay long term; Dr. Widener has!! He is simply amazing! I highly recommend!

If you love your pet and want the best care, then the Farmhouse Veterinary Hospital is the place to take them. Dr Widener's expertise is vast and he will provide the best treatment and course of action for your pet. He talks to you and explains everything completely, your time with the  Doctor is not rushed, you will be glad that you made the choice to come here. Jenny, Dr widener's assistant is the most compassionate and loving with all animals, she is fantastic.

Dr Widener is an awesome Doctor! I have never had a problem with him. I like that he will sell a 3 pack of flea meds even though he has to split the 6 pack. Also he doesnt charge an office visit if its your animal is already a patient and its for routine vaccines. Plus his fee is lower than any vet around town.

Was searching for a vet and read the reviews as I always do before choosing. These guys extremely unprofessional to their reviewers! If you leave a negative review or even just a bad star rating they attack you, threaten you with legal action, even post your personal phone number! They try to bully you and scare you into removing your opinion. Just awful. I'm glad I saw this and will not be using this company. I'm curious if their rating is only high because they've scared all the negative reviewers to delete their reviews?.. I'm sure they will report mine too.

Dr Mike is the only veterinarian i will take any of my animals to. His love for animals and compassion for all is shown in his work. Every time I have taken any animal to him I've left knowing i made the right choice. When my Belgian Malinois was attacked by another dog and got bit next to her eye, Dr Mike was so amazing handling her and his patience was phenomenal. He doesn't price gouge. He is more than fair in his prices. If you are looking for a vet and come across this. Stop take my word. Farm house Vets is the place your looking for.

The doctor spent a lot of time teaching us all about the health risks of older cats. He was very gentle with our 14yr old cat, Milo We even got to help in the process during the exam, which seemed to make Milo more comfortable.

I've been going here for a few years now and I love how much he cares about my fur babies! I trust them in Doctor Mike's care. I got my little ones teeth cleaned and she feels so much better, her teeth are very clean and she is eating well again without pain. I will continue to take her here.

I needed an Avian vet and they referred me to a wonderful Avian Vet, Kristin Gill, in Tacoma. Have been looking for one for years. So grateful!

We were looking for an avian vet who could give us ideas on the fix of our Macaw youngster's complicated wing repair. I called and Dr. Mike was in surgery. His receptionist listened to the problem and since it was an advanced fix, she suggested avian vet Dr. Ferguson in Maple Valley WA at Pine Tree Veterinary Hospital. I'm very thankful for the great reference! We've had the surgery done which involved many things like a pin placement, bone putty and stem cells but we think we have a good chance of saving his wing. Thanks again for Dr. Mike's staff as they put the animal first - and are knowledgeable on who would be our best bet. We drive 6 hours round trip to see Dr. Ferguson but she was the right choice and worth it. A pleasant experience with her and her staff. Highly recommended, both of these vets. Thanks again.

They literally saved my dogs life when other vets told me to put him down. The vet took a chance and and the results are astonishing. I'm beyond grateful.

I have a Parakeet that was having problems. I called dozens of offices from Bellevue/Seattle to Olympia. No one had any time to even listen to his symptoms. I was given Farmhouse's phone number to call. Within 2 minutes I had a same day appointment. The Doctor and his staff were phenomenal. The diagnosis was heartbreaking but delivered with kindness and compassion. I cannot possibly sing their praises loudly enough.

We had a hard time trying to find a vet that would look at and work on ferrets. I am so glad we found this veterinary hospital. They were incredibly professional, and it was an amazing experience! The doctor knew exactly what he was talking about! Highly recommend to everyone.

I am so thankful that my friend referred me to Dr. Wagner's Vet Hospital! He is soooo caring about the health and well-being of his patients. I appreciate that he took time to thoroughly check my rescue dog and explain things in his unhurried, soft-spoken way. He is so knowledgeable that I'm confident in his care my new furry.

I am beyond greatful that I found this vets office they are beyond anything i ever expected we had been to several vets to try and help our dog and we werent getting anywhere. Everyone wanted to do a surgery we couldnt afford to do...so i did some research and looked around and found farmhouse vet and made an appointment, we took our dog in and the vet said that this was the worse ear infection that he had ever seen. In the long run what happened was he saved our dogs life and helped us out financially with all of it and its to the point now that surgery has been pushed off because he is doing so well, he does have to be on meds for the rest of his life which hes 10 or 11 so few more years but he may not need surgery and he is still with us and more like a puppy than we have ever seen.

It has been 9 or 10 years since I took my all my many rescue cats to Dr. Mike. Have had many health issues, the most recent major heart trama, heart attack, pace maker plus more issues. Just can't climb the stairs at Farmhouse. Dr. Mike is an exceptional Vet with your pet & you. He is extremely knowledgeable & very caring. He devots the time you need & answers all your questions, including options & answers your calls. I have only Sasha left & she is geriatric like me! Try Farmhouse (very clean) you will love Dr. Mike.
