Left a stitch in our dogs belly after neutering him. Had to get another vet to take it out.

convinced us declawing our cats was a good idea, botched our babies surgery he wouldn't eat for months. don't go here if you care about your babies.

Call for an emergency and they were happy to help on new years eve. Best vet in my book

I’ll probably update this later but if I could give zero stars I would.. we took our fur baby (male kitty) in to get neutered (September 28, 2021) Everything seemed to have gone fine but a few days later we noticed a large hole in his lower stomach. It seemed she had forgotten he was a male and went to spade him instead. Once she realized her mistake she neutered him but…. The hole wasn’t cared for, they didn’t stitch him, nothing and when we took him in Tuesday, October 5, 2021 (clarify dates just because) they didn’t seem to care, for one, she didn’t stitch him, gave him a shot, and put him in a cone and sent us on our way.. we noticed him getting worse, so we took him to a different vet clinic in Mount Vernon (October 12, 2021 (best vets I’ve ever went too) and they told us it looked like he’d been cut open, they took a swab, put antibiotic on him, and showed him so much love… obviously this veterinarian (North Whidbey) is very very terrible, we called a few days later probably October 15, 2021 to give them a piece of our minds and they were very very rude.. and now my fur baby is worse… far worse, he’s not eating, he’s barely drinking water, he’s not active… he cant jump up to my bed at night to cuddle… NOTHING! DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES HERE!!

Been going here since 1993. Have had nothing but the best care for our animals. Reasonable and caring.

My 10 year old lab mix has been dealing with allergies her whole life and I have been to multiple vets and they have not been able to deal with it. She ended up getting a hematoma in her ear and they took amazing care of her and have been so friendly. I am shocked every time I pay how affordable it is for the care I’m receiving. I cannot thank them enough for how caring and helpful they have been since I’ve been with them.

Solid, reliable vets. They cost less than other area vets, probably because the clinic is old & shabby. But the savings is worth it.

They are very caring and knowledgeable. They allow the person to come in with the pet.

Dr.’s Mangiameli, Iverson and their assistant Holly genuinely care about you and your pets. Their knowledge, skill, and the lengths they go to to ensure your pets health, is exceptional. Dr.’s M and Iverson were the only vets I trusted the care of my beloved German Shepherd with. Now they’re working with me to manage my kitty’s cancer. They are truly the best.

Dr. M. brought our 11 year old cat back from what we thought was the brink of death a couple months ago. He was on a well earned day off and literally came off the ski slope early and met us at his office. Any other vet would have told us to go to the emergency vet in Mt. Vernon. I take that back, "any other vet" wouldn't have even answered the phone.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Evidently they reuse needles (just washing them with soap), don't give the animals proper pain relief, and when someone doesn't want to be present for the euthanization of their animal he just puts the animal in a cage after the shot to die alone and checks on them a couple hours later to make sure they're dead. Some of the most deplorable, backwards information I've ever heard about a vet. This was all coming from someone who worked there and is very honest, unlike this vet clinic. John Mangiameli needs to have his license removed permanently. NEVER TAKE AN ANIMAL HERE.

Over the last 22 years we have taken our dogs to Dr. Mangiamelli. He extended the lives of two of them when they were old and frail, and he is the go-to for our current dog. He treats them with compassion and gave the first 2 dogs at least an additional year of good quality life because he doesn't give up on them.

After visiting my dogs symptoms only got worse. We had to put him down shortly after. If I could run this business into the ground, I would.

Knowledge and friendliness along with compassion of staff best around.

What I like most is their caring about your dogs without pushing a million things on you about what the dogs should have for testing and then trying to make you feel bad when you tell them no. Cost is more reasonable.

My dog needed an eye surgery they were quick on getting him in. I went back with him while the put him under and was able to be with him as soon as he started to wake up. He has such bad separation anxiety that he would have freaked out. The price was very reasonable also

Lady on phone was extremely rude. If you like working with animals you should be able to hear some kind of niceness instead of rudeness when speaking to potential customers on the phone. If you dont like dealing with people or you dont like your job, then quit. You would be doing yourself and everyone else a favor. I dont care how much it costs to take my animal somewhere to get the right care but I'm sure not going to pay to take my animal somewhere that will give the wrong treatment!!

As we all know anyone who gets mad about something will give a bad review so you need to learn to overlook all people who give a 2.0 or less because its just a bias review out of anger. They are just mad and want to get back at someone so I always ignore those reviews. We have taken our 5 dogs here for years and have no complaints. No they are not a multi-million dollar state of the art facility but that does not make them bad veterinarians. There facility is older but I don't care because that's not going to help my dogs get better. I have a lot of respect for Dr Magamelli and his team. They are caring but realistic about the condition of some pets and are willing to tell the truth even if it hurts. People are always too emotional about their pets. What I will tell you is that they care about the animals they treat and fair when it comes to pricing. If you want to pay 5 times the amount at other places that try's to talk you into everything thing under the sun and then makes feel bad if you say no or if you say yes you find you had to spend $2,000 dollars then go for it but that won't happen here.

Called Dr.Manigiamelli when I put the Xl flea meds on the chihuahua and he was so nice,he stayed in the phone with me for 15 mins explaining different medicines and such and was just amazing. I offered to pay he said not necessary and I'm telling you we were so grateful. Cant say I've ever had anything other than great sevice and exceptional prices in comparison to others around town.

We have been using Dr Mangiameli for almost 30 years now. In that time we have had 3 dogs and a bunny. They are always accommodating, professional and responsive any time we had to call off hours. I have no reason to even consider any other Vet.

Had my dog cremated after he passed away and got his ashes today. Thanks to them I can put my best friend to rest. Thank you all.

Been taking my dogs here for the past 9 years. Always quick to get your animals in and always kind and courteous! I would never take my animals anywhere else!

Never got past the initial phone call. Receptionist was extremely rude. While my pet had a medical emergency, she insisted that they were full and implied that I wouldn't be able to afford the cost of a walk in emergency visit.
